“12/10. Came to Zunzibar in Hilton Head Island on a Monday evening and was immediately so happy we did. There was incredible live music (that had the perfect volume - I we were sitting closest to him and never felt like we were yelling to talk or that it was overwhelming), the drinks were amazing, and the service was top notch. If you want somewhere that has great drinks, a laid-back atmosphere, and Instagram-worthy decor, definitely check them out! We will absolutely be back.“

“Drinks were good, music great. However. we ordered chili fries for $10.95 and asked for the chili on the side. we got the fries with chili in a small cup. But when we got the bill we were charged full price AND $1.00 extra for chili on the side. WTH. We didn't get extra chili!!!!! One dollar is not a big deal, overcharging is!!!!“

“My family and I had the pleasure to visit this place last weekend and we had the most amazing time. The food was great and the drinks and entertainment excellent. “Loved this little haunt on my 2022 trip to HHI. I was told if you want a bar that’s not a touristy money trap, then this is the place. They were right! I came for my 30th birthday and just about everyone in the bar wanted to buy me a drink. Such a great vibe and great people. Wonderful conversations with both staff and patrons. I believe the bartender’s name was Doug, he was the coolest and even hung out a bit with us after his shift was over. I will never forget that night, thank you Cool Cats for an awesome 30th birthday.“

“Awesome place. We were debating where to eat between the burger place or the Mexican place. Only after sitting down outside we learnt we can order from both, and even a third Pizza restaurant. Super awesome. I got the burger. My wife got the quesadilla. And daughter got eh pizza. Family happy😏“

“This place was one of the highlights of our vacation! We stayed in sea pines and walked along the beach every day to get drinks at the bar. The staff were so accommodating and was able to make us rum buckets of our choice even though they weren’t on the menu! We also loved the tiki toss game near the bar and played for hours on end. The view of the ocean from the bar is amazing. Also the bathrooms were clean. 10/10 recommend!“

“Wish I could give 6 stars. Had the coolest bartender ever -Tony, you rock!! The food was delicious! We got the oysters, calamari and shrimp Alfredo the first night and they were all amazing. Tony recommended the charcoal grilled shrimp and gator bites the next night. A-MA-ZING! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and joking around with us Tony. We will be back soon!“

“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.“

The food and the service is always good and the place feels welcoming and relaxing. Every server and bartender is friendly and we always feel right at home.“

“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. Me, my sister & my niece were delighted with our choices...grouper, seafood cannelloni , Brazilian fish stew...WOW!! But what we were most impressed with was our waiter, Ladrae' Foster, a young 20 year old man. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked LOTS of questions about entrees and he always had the most detailed answer. Excellent service, too! We'll definitely be back!“

“Weird that we have lived here 7 years and never hit this spot until now. Great burgers, great service (and already incredibly busy on new years eve when we walked in at 5:30). Waitresses were hustling and still taking the time to check on us and make sure our drinks were filled. It's a good crowd here too--maybe mostly locals, but not everyone was a 'after work' clientele. We had fun talking down the bar and to people behind us. Tables are close together (not tight though) so it kind of makes for conversation -- or at least a friendly hello. Enjoyed ourselves.“

“Stop in to Mixx on Main. A hidden gem at the North end of the Island, just off 278. Reasonably priced, great food - American and Mexican fare. No wait, and no reservations needed. Come find us!“

“What a gem! We typically find ourselves sticking to the same set of restaurants when we visit HHI. but decided to branch out and try Madre, and I'm so glad we did. The food was excellent - flavorful and fresh; the service was outstanding, and the ambience was very nice. We will definitely be back during our next visit!“

“The food was good, but we had a really weird experience at the beginning. My mother and I walked in and requested a table for two. The hostess says “do you have a reservation, we don’t take walk ins.” We didn’t have a reservation so we left. But I was so hungry after just getting off a plane that I didn’t want to search for a new place. I looked up Jane online and made a res for 1:00 (it was 12:49… and there were tons of available time slots). So we walked back in and told the same hostess we had a reservation. Then while we sat and waited 10 min for a table we listened to her tell other walk ins it was a 10 min wait. The whole thing was so strange. I think my salad was good, but definitely annoyed by the initial service (waitress super sweet though).“

“I travel all over the US for work and eat BBQ everywhere I go. I usually go for brisket over pulled pork, but went with the pork for dinner today. Absolutely fantastic pulled pork, it was delicious. Best potato salad I’ve had, baked beans were amazing. Sauces were super tasty as well. I’ve been spoiled by eating tons of Texas bbq, but Forrest Fire BBQ can hold its own anywhere.“

“We have visited this restaurant a few times and it's always been great. With my food sensitivities they have very accommodating. I enjoyed the filet with shrimp and french fries all with no type of dairy or eggs. My wife enjoyed the grits with grilled chicken. Kevin in the kitchen with William at the bar and Kenji as our server did a great job.“

“Visited the beach knowing I had to pop in on the Tiki Hut to see what was going on. Wow, at 3pm on a Friday afternoon in December - the place was PACKED. Barely found a table!
There was an awesome band playing, one of my buddy's favorite, so we had to stay. Don't plan on having a conversation while a band is playing here, it is super loud, but so fun!
Servers on an island are hit or miss, but our server was SO nice, she actually took a minute to chat about the band when she came back to check on us for the 2nd time. It was starting to thin out, as the band had finished.
We were approached pretty quickly when we sat down. I ordered some nachos $12 and added chicken $6. They use white cheese, which I much prefer over that nacho cheese so many bars use. A healthy dose of jalapenos with the chicken piled on made it yummy!
A White Claw was $9.
I'm glad we stopped in, it was so fun and we chatted with other patrons also - after it quieted down, lol. On my receipt it's called 'The Porch', just an fyi. Enjoy!“
