“Went Thanksgiving night after looking at Christmas lights. Poor Mackenzie was working alone and had been most of the day. Don’t be fooled by that statement because she was killing it! She took our order, cooked it and bagged it up all with a smile (a tired smile but a beautiful smile) - did I mention she’s pregnant? I sincerely hope that she sees this and just as important - her supervisors do - she’s amazing!!!“

“We live in WNC, and we came here a month ago. Everything we tried was so good and there was so much more to try that we came back tonight. Everything on the menu is a 10/10. So much variety, amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff. Such a hidden gem! The pickled okra is one of the best and most creative appetizers I have had in a long time. “the waitress Tina needs another job cause being a waitress isn't the job for her she DROPPED 2 boxes on floor behind me she could have sat them down instead she rushed us to order never came back and asked us if we needed coffee had to get up 2 times to get more when she cleared a table of it's dishes she dropped them down on other dishes so that was very loud also she was right at my table and didn't even look my way then when we was waiting to pay in line instead of saying excuse me sir she once again was rude saying "you need to move" so I could complain about the food also but I'll jus complain about "Tina" the waitress. bad service can ruin the whole experience of eating here never going to waste my money or time again the rest of staff was great though..put Tina to doing dishes in the back so others don't have to experience her being disrespectful“

“I have eaten inside but usually we are in a hurry and Charlie's is so great from taking our orders, payments and getting our food out to us in a timely matter and if course has our order correct every single time I don't normally write reviews but I had to for Charlie's since there is really no other place like them ANYWHERE in Spartanburg. They have places to eat from that both serve chicken sandwiches just like they do but I'm telling you their chicken finger wrap is to die for. Something about how those fingers don't have chewy rubbery pieces or grissel/tendin pieces. Each bite is literally heaven. The way the chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo all roll together in that flour tortilla the best messy experience I have ever had. I don't ever eat chicken since I started raising them myself but I literally cannot pass up their chicken finger wrap whenever we order from Charlie's. Plus they have one person (a sweet girl) running the front of the house while there is only one or two guys cooking in the back and their vibe is always flowing so we'll that it works every single time. They always have a long line in the drive thru yet they don't make you wait long, not ride or short with you they are always kind and patient. The other chicken restaurants on either side of them could take a lesson out of their playbook.“

“Had the week off and stopped by for some happy hour and some food. One of the owners daughter in law was helping out so regular staff could have some time off. Audrey I think her name was. She was awesome and very helpful. There was no one in the place besides a few club members. Food was very good, nice portions. We had a couple of drinks, in the end the price was good for what we got. We'll be back when we have another day off.“

“The bisket is full of fat, if you like fat you are in the right place. I have never been served slices of fat. I had more fat then bisket. Will not return. Brisket sandwich was 10.00 and the majority was fat. They knew I had never had bisket before, so the served me fat.“

“I fully believe this to be the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were very welcoming and continued to clean as they went. The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something. However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. If I lived closer, this would be a regular weekend treat.“

“Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

“Stopped by for a quick breakfast on a Wednesday. Dining room was very busy and full. Courteous staff had me seated and ordering quickly.
Avocado/crab egg scramble was delicious. Came out quick, was very flavorful.
Conveniently located near the Publix plaza. Do not hesitate to stop by for breakfast/brunch. All menu items looked good.

“I recently went in to buy a hambone - had leftover ham from Thanksgiving, but no bone to make split pea soup!

I will 100% be back! 1) The place smells AMAZING! First thing you notice when you walk in, and it's even better than smelling coffee beans at Starbucks. 2) Fantastic customer service! Charlotte was very friendly, attentive, and speedy (I'm sorry, I lost the receipt so I can't submit the survey on it, but if I would I would give you 10/10!). 3) It was a meaty bone! Very high quality, perfect for soups and bean dishes. 4) Although I don't quite have the budget to purchase a full ham or any of their warm/ready to eat food, based on 1) and 3) I would still highly recommend any of their products!“
