“We had a great experience at Konichiwa. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Godzilla Roll, and Red Rose Roll, and all three were excellent. Everyone in our family ended up having a different favorite.

The Godzilla Roll was my favorite, the deep-fried texture and flavor were outstanding. My wife’s favorite was the Dragon Roll, while my son loved the Red Rose Roll. It had a little bit of spice for him, but he still enjoyed it.

We also ordered the New York Strip Steak Bento. It was decent, but compared to the sushi rolls, it was just okay and didn’t stand out.

For dessert, we tried the mochi ice cream, and my son liked it.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the staff was attentive, friendly, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable visit with delicious sushi, good service, and a nice atmosphere. We’d definitely come back, especially for the sushi rolls!“

“We hosted our daughter and son in law's wedding dinner reception. We live in Virginia and planning this event from two states away was daunting, but Eli made planning flawless and easy, answering every nervous mother of the bride question promptly with so much interest and attention to detail. We had some food allergies that were handled with ease. The food was delicious, the private dining area was perfect, the patio cozy. The service was impeccable. This was such a memorable experience from planning to the bride and groom's send off. Perfect in every way!“

I sat in a bar booth and had fun interacting with the very interesting, knowledgeable server, who also was an adventurous cook at home. I sampled new things and compared dishes with other diners as they were leaving. It is my new favorite restaurant in Charleston! The interior is pretty, cheerful and bright. The oyster / bone marrow was elegant. So many good dishes. Their sister restaurant, The James, is also wonderful! It's not as upscale, but delicious, non-the-less! “We like Seewee and go a few times every year. The food is good. My only co.plaint is the fish stew. There was no fish in it except maybe a flec or two. It was canned diced tomatoes in a bowl, no flavor at all. I have never asked to not charge me for a dish at a restaurant but I wish I had.“

“We've driven by Burtons a thousand times and never stopped. Then we actually moved to Mt. Pleasant and live close to the restaurant. “We had dinner at Dragon Palace on Daniel Island this evening, and it was probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Charleston area. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The sesame chicken was excellent, the pork dumplings and crab puffs were delicious, and the soups were a great way to start the meal.

Our waitress, Skyla, did a fantastic job. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

If you’re looking for great Chinese food around Charleston, I’d definitely recommend giving Dragon Palace a try. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Went on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't busy at all! Perfect for a group of 7. The salsa is delicious and the fish tacos were spectacular. Everyone enjoyed their meals (ceviche, steak fajitas, steal quesadilla, cheesesteak burrito and the bowl), plates were cleaned and bellies were full.“
