“I have eaten here a few times. The chicken salad is great! The croissant each time is a bit dry. I switched to their wheat bread, which was better. The quality of their chicken salad is amazing. So flavorful! The lettuce and tomato are fresh. The cute little cookie you get just ordering a sandwich was a nice treat! I’ve tried the broccoli cheddar soup, that is very cheesy and tasty. The pasta salad was kind of bland and a super small portion but that’s ok. They have lots of options to figure out what you like. The price is not bad if you just do the sandwich, less than $10. My favorite is the Kickin’ Kay Lynne. The sriracha is a nice touch! The cranberry Kelly is good too! That one reminds me of cape cod chicken salad like back home. This place is always packed but the staff is always nice and get you in and out pretty quickly. My new favorite lunch spot!“

“We drove from Charleston SC to try this place and let me tell you they did not disappoint! The pork rinds came to the table still popping. The brisket, ribs and pork literally melt in your mouth. The fried pork chops were the best I have had in my lifetime and the sides like candied cornbread, Lima beans, Mac and cheese, dirty rice and okra were absolutely on point! Don’t forget to try the brisket Mac and cheese! 🤯 Amazing southern bbq! We will be back!“

“Took the family there for July 4th instead of cooking out. Daughter wanted friend shrimp instead of BBQ so she ordered off the menu. the shrimp tasted like old grease and she couldn't eat them. I told the waiter and there was no offer to replace them, cook another order or remove from the bill. So I got to pay for something inedible and get her something else to eat on the way home. we have eaten Hudson's regularly, but it will probably be a while before we come back, if we do.“

“Located in the grand lobby of the Marriott Columbia, South Columbia, it’s the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks and drinks as the kitchen closes at 11:00 pm. The drinks and the food are great with a well stocked bar that can accommodate about 12-14 people and there’s always a table available. The service is exceptional and the wait staff is exactly what the hospitality industry should represent. Our waitress Shannon was super personable while being a consummate professional. The true southern hospitality personified. Highly recommend Midlands for hotel guests and anybody else looking for a great meal and a comfortable space.“

“The Mother's Day Buffet at the Doubletree is terrific. This was our 2nd year in a row and we weren't disappointed. They provide such a wide variety of food choices and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff is so friendly and professional, and the decor even includes an ice sculpture with a gorgeous flower arrangement. It is really a full dining experience and the desserts are not to be missed, we will return again.“

“Stopped by on a whim and was bowled over by the food and the folks working there. I had the fried pork chop, yams, potato salad and Mac n cheese. All of it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The entire staff was friendly and funny. A perfect spot for soul food. Extra credit for some great lemonade in the biggest cup I’ve ever seen. Get some time to go by and get a great meal.“

“We were in town for a gymnastics meet and needed a place for brunch before his competition time. We ordered a few different things and literally all of it was amazing. My youngest son said, "I'm full but it's SO GOOD I want to keep eating." The Stuffed French Toast Breakfast came with enough sides that we could all try a bite of them (eggs, chicken sausage, grits, biscuit). I've never liked grits, but these grits were amazing!! So buttery/creamy. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and wound up stealing my son's biscuit and putting the chicken on that instead of the bun - oh. my. goodness! Delicious!! We were in town for the weekend and ate at 3 different restaurants - this was the best by A MILE!!! Definitely recommend. Service was quick and friendly, as well. The owner even stopped by every table, making sure we had everything we needed.“

“This places was just absolutely amazing. The Vibe was very nice and it was very friendly and family oriented. My server Alexa was just top tier! The professionalism, knowledge of the menu and overall service was immaculate. It was my first time ever trying Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles being that I am only visiting the area for work, and I Guarantee I will be back. I didn’t know what I wanted and Alexa let me know her top favorite dishes on the menu which helped me make my decision. The food was Hot, delicious, and came out in a timely manner. I definitely will be returning and thank you again Alexa for such amazing service and making me already feel like a repeat customer, and thank you cooks for ensuring that my food made a wonderful part of the experience, also, you have to Try the Koolaid, it was the Bomb!“

“A friend and I have regular dinner dates at Terra and we always have a great time! Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. Thank you Terra for being so reliable and delivering some of the best bites in the area, you are our gem!“
