“Great restaurant!“

“This restaurant is a solid 5-star with Incredible food and attentive staff. It is a a local favorite but this traveler will return! Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!“

“If I was a local this would be my go to place for relaxed eating. The food is top notch and the host is very personable. Sent a couple from the hotel and he thanked me for the tip and he said food was excellent. Thanks again Gary & Wanda“

“As promised Jared… the star chefs adorning the walls would be very proud of what was the best French toast I have ever eaten, and one of the top breakfasts ever!!! Foie gras!!!, macerated and fresh berries, toasted pecans, granola, and maple cream made for a beautifully presented and texturally diverse dish. We were travelers looking for unique eats in Rapid City, drawn in by your website’s description of the menu, and not disappointed. I believe the sign of a great meal is when you savor each bite, already from the start regretting the end of the meal will inevitably come. Look up the video of Julia Child tearing up after sampling a Nancy Silverton dessert and you’ll know what I mean. Thanks Jared for going the extra mile to get me that foie gras and for the excellent service!!! Hope to be back some day ;)“

“We recently enjoyed a lovely dinner at Golden Bison Grille. Our fine pre-dinner drinks at the bar were attended by the friendly Ms. Tina. The Golden Bison meal was beyond delicious with melt in your mouth pork doused in an outstanding bourbon glaze and oh-so-tender steak bites, grilled asparagus and sweet herbed potatoes. Our friendly and efficient server, Roland, provided the perfect amount of attention and completed our experience with the most delicious Crème Brûlée! Restaurant Manager Josh stopped by to visit during our meal and was assured this, our special evening out, was indeed a memorable one!“

“This was a wonderful place to have dinner about 5 minutes drive from Mt. Rushmore and right up the street from our hotel.

The food was delicious and very fresh. We split a salad and a Farm burger. We did feel we could each had a burger because it wasn't quite big enough for two but worked well with the salad and waffle fries. Both were delicious and definitely would go back next time we're in the area. They also had very fresh, real lemonade that was very refreshing with the heat outside and not too sweet.

We had wonderful service from the very friendly staff. Our hostess Nerine was so lovely. She was so kind and we had a lovely conversation about where she had worked throughout the US including my Mom's hometown in Wisconsin. We also enjoyed the conversation and service of our waitress Rachel.“

“Would absolutely recommend Shipwrecks Bar & Grill! They have their own separate gluten free fryer. My 2 year old son with Celiac and other allergies was able to have walleye fingers with French fries and loved them! They even made it into a kids meal for him! The head chef was very knowledgeable about celiac and willing to talk with us! Wonderful experience all around!“

“Super friendly staff...from owner to server and beyond. So freakin' nice. Amazing dishes...we couldn't try them all, but what we had was fresh, well prepared and super tasty. And I dont mean that the dishes were just good...they were GREAT!!! Romaine Wedge Salad...Brussel Sprouts...Bison Sliders...Crab Cakes. Ji5st delicious. And add to that how commited they are to local and sustainable ingredients. Got my business forever!“

“My wife is Celiac. After having a burger with a GF bun she had absolutely no stomach issues. Could tell they go the extra steps to make sure there was no contamination or cross contamination. Would eat here again. Both her food and mine was one of the best if not the best burger from a fast food place we have ever had.“

“Our Host was also our Server. He sat us at a HUGE booth, which can fit 4-7 people (there were only 2 of us). The Drink Menu is extensive. Since we didn't know if we were expecting, I didn't take advantage of the Key Lime Pie Martini. Will more than likely be back to try this! Appetizer/Menu and pricing were as expected (on the higher end of things, but it was my Birthday, so it was ok). We got the Hot Crab Dip for an Appetizer. Could've used more bread. Husband got the Wild Boar Lasagna and I got the Coconut Curry Shrimp Bowl. All 3 Dishes were great! It got awkward after our Server took our empty plates, since it took him awhile to bring us our bill. We didn't know if we had to get up and pay, or if they thought we stayed at the hotel, to charge our room...Husband had to take out his wallet, and put on the table, to show we were ready for our bill.“

“We were discussing lunch options today, when a lady nearby overheard us and recommended Paddy's. So we decided to try it out. Radwan was an excellent server for this lunch. The food was phenomenal. Gluten-free breading that didn't even taste unusual. The Boneless wings were tender with delectable sauce. You have to try the pretzel appetizer when you go. Even the fish and chips were perfect in every bite. Better than we ever expected and made our trip even better! Thank you for the. amazing food!!!“

“Grizzly Primitive Campground delivered exactly what I was looking for, an offgrid, peaceful experience. I stayed at Plot 11, which is conveniently close to the creek. The constant, soothing sound of the water combined with the natural atmosphere made it incredibly relaxing and well worth the stay. Just a heads up it's cash only, so bring exactly $26 for the night. Simple, quiet, and exactly what you'd hope for in a primitive camping spot.“

“This is a great bar with a small town feel...ALL of the bartenders and local regulars are absolutely awesome!!...it's a great place to come to if you need a break from the kiddos, work, or just the daily stress of life!!...but keep in mind ..it's not a restaurant...it's a bar!!...it's not suited for rowdy kids....my wife and I drive from the far east side of Rapid to come here and enjoy ourselves on a regular basis...if your looking for a great drink at a fair price..served by great bartenders. While surrounded by some awesome locals ..then this is a great place to check out!!...“

“Good but not as advertised. The service was excellent but the cook must have been having an off day. I had BBQ ribs with roasted corn. Their website said the ribs were slow cooked for hours so the meet was falling off the bone, it was so tender. Mine was pretty tough and hard to even cut off the bone. There was also very little meat on the bone to begin with. It still tasted good but certainly not as advertised. The roasted corn was way over cooked and practically mush. Surprisingly though, it still tasted pretty good as well.“

“Stopped for what I thought would be a quick breakfast and be on my way.
Turned out to be the best morning wake up I’ve had in a while. The eggs were perfect and the bacon crispy, the food at Perkins never disappoints. It was my waitress, Heather, that made my day. It was obvious that she had other things she needed to do but she was still so cheerful and attentive. It’s quite clear that customer service is not her job, it’s her nature.
