I happen to be looking at a Chattanooga magazine at my daughter‘s house while visiting last week and ran across a little feature on the Bluegrass Grill. Knowing I would be taking one of my daughters to lunch for her birthday while visiting, this sounded like the perfect place to try. And by golly, it certainly was the perfect place! Both of my daughters and I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and were pretty picky about our hollandaise sauce. My three grandsons enjoyed their pancakes and French toast and one took a chance at the jalapeño bacon and loved it. My daughters have lived in the area for several years but neither had been there before. I know they will be back and so will I during future visits! And reading the story behind the grill. What a blessing your history has been to so many people! Thank you for your compassion and your heart’s mission. That made the visit to the Bluegrass Grill even more special! God Bless you all!”

“I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.
She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.
This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.
Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

“We just had our annual Family Reunion in Chattanooga and on the final night had a Pizza Party. O’Dell’s catered this event for over 50 people (adults and kids) with salads and ice tea. Cullen, Hood O’Dell’s son, was our delivery man and the whole meal came off without a hitch! So much so that the Family gave him and O’Dell’s a standing ovation! If you are offered a seat at the bar take it! 10/10 recommend! To the manager, I hope you know you have a great staff, which is rare these days. Entree sirloin, parmeasan mashed potatoes and vegetables medley and bread of course for dessert I chose the creme Brule cheesecake. So so good and hot. I had received a $10 coupon through the rewards program which, expired on the day I was dining. My server forgot to added it to my bill although she wrote down the coupon code. I discovered the error after I left the restaurant I called back and spoke with the manager Don Driscoll and he said he would honor it up to 30 days. I thought that was outstanding.”

“I planned an event for a group of young girls and every single staff member went above and beyond. The manager was incredibly patient and kind and checked on my group periodically throughout the evening to make sure we were okay.
At one point we were playing laser tag with 2 older kids, and as soon as one of the older kids said something distasteful to one of my girls one of the staff members shut it down immediately.
They really did a good job helping me plan the event and even taking care of us once we were there.”

I came in today (with receipt) to get it and the manager told me she could only give me a 25% discount. The service is bad and the food is mediocre never again.”

“This is a great place for private events. I had my wife’s 40th bday party here and we had the best time. Nice open space with great decorations and several large tvs to watch ball games.
