The former residence has multiple rooms, on two levels, and our one regret is that we sat in a room with about ten tables, and the hard-scape decor meant that the noise level was just below the decibel level of bars on Broadway Stu’s neon district.“

That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“Stopped in on a Friday night with a group of 9 and had great service! Kate was fantastic! Food was great (some things weren't very warm - but I realize harder with a large party). Our teenagers loved their meals so much they ordered seconds haha. Drinks were delicious! Cute place with lots of space and wonderful service! Would definitely recommend, and we will be back if in the area.“

Wife, had the breakfast bowl. Sausage, hashbrowns, biscuit, and Eggs in a bowl covered with gravy. Outstanding.
Saw a thing that said they were famous for chili. So we ordered chili cheese fries too. Breakfast of champions, right? Chili was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I'd get more biscuits and gravy!“

I tried the pumpkin spice love latte and I can honestly say it’s not bad but I have had better. How they give you water is for the birds. They have a large water canister that you have to get the water out yourself and it’s warm. No ice. Cups are like what you get at the water tank at work. Lemonade was ok. I would consider it again. Service wasn’t bad just not a fan of how it was done. Not a typical set up. You order like you would at McDonald’s and sit down basically.“

“The restaurant space has no windows and seems designed to primarily serve hotel guests, but they validate parking in their garage for restaurant patrons. I will certainly visit this restaurant again for the fresh, healthy options for brunch and fantastic service. Looked like a lovely high-tea was also being enjoyed by families across the hall.“

“We love the casual yet upscale atmosphere at Thistle & Rye. Our party of 6 sat inside as it was 8 million degrees outside. We shared lots of apps, we all had the cod sandwich. The cocktails were fun, our eats delish! Our server, Samantha was patient and gracious as we were definitely “extra”then a larger group settled in at the next table. They were hilarious, needless to say Sam had her hands full and by all accounts handled everything perfectly! Thank you, our evening was great fun!“

Not only did they treat me like I mattered, they bought me a drink and even gifted me an Ole Red’s tank top to lift my spirits. “Very good salads with different choices. They also have soups, sandwiches and sweet treats.

We had three scoops of salads which I forget the name of it where we had the Cranberry Kelli, the Fancy Nancy, and another one.

We also had a piece of the white chocolate layered cake, but this dessert did not impress me to be honest.

Very good food, nice place which I am looking forward to checking when I’m back home in Texas.

“When there's a line, I join! I waited about 10 minutes and was seated. While waiting, locals and tourists raved about the place and made recommendations. I ordered the East Nasty and a coffee. It was good but I wasn't floored by it.

We didn't get seated till 12:50. We waited to be served and there was no server so she had to Be our waitress. She was great but clearly there was no notice to her or other staff that we were coming or had a reservation.“

Miller chose a family style meal for the four of us to share. It was beyond fantastic. This topped Off a week of some fine dining and it surpassed all. We cannot wait to dine in again. Marsh House is in the Thompson Hotel in The Gulch neighborhood in Nashville, and their brunch was incredible. Eli was our bartender, and he made our experience even better than the delicious food that was served. Perfect, fun service. Thanks, Eli! Fun environment with some hotel guests, party folks, and couples at the bar. The dining room looked very nice, although we sat in the bar area. The wife had the Medieval Barber for a drink and loved it. We got the salmon tartar as an appetizer, and it was delicious, along with a fantastic presentation. Wife got the shrimp and grits, and I got one of the better omelettes that I have ever had (I added ham to the cheese-y-ness magic). Hope you go there, and hope Eli is your tender. The Gulch is also a cool wander as you digest the awesome meal you just had. Dining room looked classy too. Definitely recommend, and see you there...“
