“I ordered lunch to-go for 15 people with very short notice and not only did the restaurant make it happen, they did it with a great attitude! The food was delicious (almost every meal was different and there was not a single complaint from anyone). The to-go portion size was perfect, the containers they use are great (no spillage and my car didn’t smell like grilled salmon), they packed up extra condiments without me asking and had plenty of plasticware for the group. It was a top notch experience all around!“

“Marsh House always delivers and I always look forward to dining there. We were seated promptly, and our server was very efficient and friendly. As we always do, we started our brunch with a biscuit order and the cinnamon roll for the table to share, and as always, they were delicious! “We went there after the January snowstorm on January 31st and were happy to find hot food that was vegetarian and flavorful and not a cold raw salad or burnt Brussels sprouts. We prefer eating hot and cooked fresh vegetarian food so we’re happy to find that with some nice ambience too. Our server girl was nice and the bar guy was happily amused that I could easily drink his spicy drink without calling BURN…haha! He made me a spicier drink and that was good too.“

“Only complaint is the bar service. They are always extremely slow and always out of what they have on the menu. Tonight it was not crowded at all and still took a while for the drinks and then they say they could not make an old fashioned because they were out of bitters. What bar is out of bitters? They couldn't go next door and buy a bottle? Their beer selection has no craft beers, IPAs, or Pale Ales. Simply the big domestics. Everything else is great but they really need help at the bar.“

“Very popular in the food court. It’s a line to order and to wait. They do take your number and text you when the food is ready, which is very helpful. You can grab a table first inside the food court. It is a huge hall and buzzing crowd.

The lobster is soft and tasty. The bread is buttery and fluffy. Butter makes it to another level. Overall a great lobster roll. But it’s a smaller portion. I will recommend to go for other food options if you are very hungry. This is for the fancy taste and expensive ingredients.“

“Food is good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering take out because they skimp you on sauce and food unfortunately. I always have a good experience with the server. He literally runs that whole place by himself. I’m seriously always impressed by him and hopefully he’s getting all his tips and not sharing it with the nuisance/ eye sore that sits behind the counter stuffing her face while scrolling on her phone constantly in front of customers. She’s so rude and has terrible customer service skills. I come here pretty often and she’s always behind the counter doing the same sh’t. When I have to go to the counter to pay, she never acknowledges or even gets her face out of the phone to speak to me for two seconds. I’m in the food business, so I am all about good customer service and handling the tasks professionally. I’m a good tipper and I expect it to be worth it in all aspects. Again, Food is great. “This is one of the best restaurants in the Nashville area. Green Hills is always busy, so traffic can be overwhelming, but it’s so worth it. We’ve dined here a few times and from the food to the service it is exceptional. We have had Ari the past two times and she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommenced the scallops to my fiancee and they are AMAZING! My steak has been cooked perfectly every single time we have come and the taste is immaculate. I will always come back.

Also, get the BBQ shrimp and grits. You won’t be disappointed I PROMISE.“

“The food was decent, regular Captain D's fare. HOWEVER, I want to say a thank you and Way-To-Go to the super sweet, cashier, Reba! There was ice near the front entrance, she left the building to help my elderly parents step over the ice, then was so sweet and patient while my parents ordered. Thank you so much!“
