“My husband and I visited on our trip and the portions were very large. They had a $14.99 deal where you got an app and entree. I got the Nachos and the Pulled Pork Sammy w/ a loaded baked potato. So good! So much food!! My husband got the corn bread (it came with honey pecan butter) and babyback ribs with loaded baked potato and onion rings. The only thing not amazing was the onion rings. Everything else was delicious!“

Food is deliciously amazing, service is top shelf, ambiance is really great and we love Don, the manager! He's always busy keeping everything running perfectly and has a smile remembering us. “We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. The cocktails were also yum. You definitely get your monies worth. It seems like a great place to work and a wonderful atmosphere. We can't wait to go back. Great job!“

“Celebrating birthday. Great food. Enjoyed the birthday dessert perk. Plenty of food left over to take home. Some minor issues with service, waitress had some issues packaging our take home correctly. Actually I don't like my food being taken back to the kitchen. In the future just bring me boxes. My water glass went dry. At first, ok, then long periods of time between table visits. Ordered coffee when we got our desserts. Never came. Didn't say anything, as we'd been there well over an hour and a half, time to go. Waitress very nice, maybe having a bad evening, or new, could do better. Was still tipped well. I'd expect perfect service at JA's.“

However, I hate the changes in the newly remodeled restaurants I have been in also, the side/vegetable portions have become so small they often look more like a child’s portion, leaving me having to order more or add on a child’s plate of vegetables. Oh yes, in the bathrooms are universally, dirty, smelly, and disgusting no matter how far or near I travel. I should know I eat 2 to 3 times a week at Cracker Barrel.“

“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. “I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.

She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.

This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.

Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.“

The waitress’ kept on top of our drinks and still stayed on top of the other tables! That place has come along way and seems to be thriving! “Ordered tamales and didn't realize they would be twice the size of "normal". So I ended up with leftovers for lunch the next day. I got the pork mole ones. Packed with pork. Masa soft and yet firm at the same time. Not dry at all. Perfect. Literally only thing I'd change would be to ask for extra red sauce. I like the filling a bit more wet than these were. But not an actual complaint, just my personal preference. I will definitely be coming back for more & to try other menu items.“
