“We had a pleasant experience at Applebee's in Hixson, thanks to our server Gary, who provided quick service. The food arrived promptly, and although the queso was a bit runnier than we prefer, it still tasted okay. The Tex-Mex shrimp bowl and chicken quesadilla salad were both tasty, and the triple chocolate melt was a delightful dessert. Just a friendly tip for servers: if you smoke, please make sure not to smell like it when serving customers.“

“Absolutely delicious! Wild west shrimp and 10 Oz salmon rice pilaf and sweet potato. Our band group stopped here for dinner before the state game on Saturday about 20 ppl altogether were sat in separate sections, our choice, in about 15 mins from arrival. Phenomenal service our kids had a blast!“

“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. My husband loves chicken and dressing, your special today, as well as cornbread, so I bought him a portion to go. When I got home, I warmed it up for him, and of course, he loved it too! I was glad that I grabbed some of your baked goods, and so far, we have devoured the HUGE ginger snap cookie!!! “Holy crap. We only came to Chattanooga for my daughter's graduation and stopped here for lunch because it was near the venue, but this place... BEST BURGERS I've ever eaten! The staff were all super friendly and they even made a delayed to-go order so I could take a fresh lunch back to my kiddo when she got out of her practice. The aesthetic of the place was wonderful and people from all walks of life gathered there as if they, too, knew about the magic in the food. 12/10 will absolutely come back on my next visit to Chattanooga.“

“I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.

She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.

This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.

Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.“

My youngest grandson looks forward to our breakfast trips when he spends the night. The atmosphere IS very casual and not your destination if you're searching for elegance. I find the portions to be large, well prepared and tasty. Service there is most often, acceptable. Things do slow down during full house situations but then it is a small hometown restaurant. “We celebrated my daughter's birthday at J.Alexander's near Hamilton Place Mall, and I have to say their carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had—rich, creamy, and a must-try for any dessert lover. The menu also offers a great variety of options for vegetarians, and the other dishes we tried were pretty good as well. It’s a fantastic spot for special occasions or just a sweet treat!“
