This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“Today was the first I’ve even heard about this. I was leary about it at first with the parking being terrible. But my wife really wanted to try it. So valet we went. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. I was 100% impressed with just a burger that we are looking forward to coming back and having a real dinner. Hands down worth the time and energy. “This place is the golden time capsule that Nashville always needs. You couldn't convince me my grandmother (God rest her southern soul) didn't go back there and make my biscuits and gravy.

The food is classic, old-school Southern good-eats. Doesn't get any better or simpler. I got the full Ultimate breakfast platter, and let me tell you that you'd better be famished 🤣. It's so much food for $15, I fought with it for about 45 minutes but lost in the end to it's gargantuan size.

The staff is above-and-beyond charming, experienced, and overall what's missing from modern customer service post-COVID. If you haven't been here, stop what you're doing and go.
