“First time here, but it won’t be the last! We had the lunch specials of Fried Shrimp Basket & Crawfish Etouffee & both were delicious! The Large shrimp & breading were probably the best I’ve ever eaten…ever, and Cajun fries, too! Jon’Monique was our very nice & attentive waitress. We’ll be back!“

“Was in town from SC for a job and this place caught our attention.. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

“I sat with Josef at the end of the bar, and while he wasn’t directly serving me, he did an amazing job of being professional and nice to me as a customer. Lucy, David, Sam, Devon and other staff members were incredibly kind and gave me such a good experience. They all made the time memorable and warm especially since I was alone. I think this is THE BEST bar staff this side of Indiana.“

“Nam King is my favorite restaurant. I love the wonton soup, combination mei fun and green pepper steak. My husband loves the shrimp fried rice, green beans and egg foo young. The food is so fresh and delicious. We have tried many different restaurants in Memphis. Nam King restaurant is the best .“

“Great place to eat. I luv the long piece of fish baked or fried. . broccoli okra sweet tea everything. The only place I wld eat on Frayser Blvd is Captain D's . luv it. Because it's always clean and they are friendly and helpful. Always show u ur food and ask is if everything ok.“

“The lobby was beautifully clean and smelled nice. The staff were all friendly. The food I received at this location was the BEST food I have ever received from a Captain D's. The fries were salted well. The coleslaw was the perfect texture. But the winner was the grilled whitefish which was well seasoned, juicy, and plump. I would highly recommend this location over any other one in Memphis!“

“Our meal, service and atmosphere was excellent. It's definitely one of our “go to” places for a special evening. With what seems like many quality restaurants closing it's refreshing that Firebirds remains an anchor in the Wolfchase area.“

“My only complaint is that you sit in drive thru forever! I’m currently sitting here and have been for 20 mins! 15 of which have been at the speaker! I understand being understaffed but I only have a 30 min lunch break!“
