“My only complaint is that you sit in drive thru forever! I’m currently sitting here and have been for 20 mins! 15 of which have been at the speaker! I understand being understaffed but I only have a 30 min lunch break!“

“First time here, but it won’t be the last! We had the lunch specials of Fried Shrimp Basket & Crawfish Etouffee & both were delicious! The Large shrimp & breading were probably the best I’ve ever eaten…ever, and Cajun fries, too! Jon’Monique was our very nice & attentive waitress. We’ll be back!“

“Was in town from SC for a job and this place caught our attention.. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

“I had my Groomsmen Dinner before my marriage and I just have to say everything was perfect! I had a group of 12-13 and all the food came out together. The server was perfect in keeping all the tabs separate making sure all drinks were topped off. The food was amazing I had the Ribeye and baked sweet potato.

“I went for lunch on a Wednesday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server promptly attended the table. We ordered smoked salmon dip as an appetizer and it was ok. For entrees we had a salmon ceasar salad and prime rib. My business partner is new to the Memphis area nad he said it was the best prime rib he'd ever had. The salmon was also good as it eas grilled. I wasn't asked but the salmon was also well done so if you have a preference, probably need to let them know. As we left, the hostess held the door which is something I recall being done at previous visits. I would recommend to friends.“

“I ordered grilled tilapia-baked potato. Tilapia was great but the baked potato looked & tasted like it was weeks old. It was cold & dark. Not fit to feed anyone.“

“I had a great experience at Captain King’s Seafood Buffet. The food was excellent with a huge variety of seafood and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service was also outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

One of the highlights of the visit was Hank “Hush Puppy.” He kept the entire dining room entertained and really helped create a fun atmosphere. He was joking around about setting a world record for how many hush puppies he could eat, calling out things like “Round 7!” and “Round 15!” which had everyone laughing. He definitely knew how to lighten the mood and make the experience memorable.

The only downside was that when I tried to get some hush puppies, Hank told me I wasn’t allowed to have any! Thankfully, there were still plenty of other great things to eat.

Overall, the food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the entertainment from Hank made the visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back again! 🦀🍤🐟“

“Great place to eat. I luv the long piece of fish baked or fried. . broccoli okra sweet tea everything. The only place I wld eat on Frayser Blvd is Captain D's . luv it. Because it's always clean and they are friendly and helpful. Always show u ur food and ask is if everything ok.“

“The lobby was beautifully clean and smelled nice. The staff were all friendly. The food I received at this location was the BEST food I have ever received from a Captain D's. The fries were salted well. The coleslaw was the perfect texture. But the winner was the grilled whitefish which was well seasoned, juicy, and plump. I would highly recommend this location over any other one in Memphis!“

“For no real reason, I don't frequent Firebirds but my recent visit has changed my mind. My family (husband and 6 year old soon) went to Firebirds for Filet Day. Firstly, I loved the deal and the food was delicious. Our son enjoyed the kids' meals as it has more than just the traditional burger and chicken tenders, with him surprising us by getting smoked chicken wings with mac & cheese and broccoli. The filets are bacon wrapped and cooked to perfection. So juicy and seasoned. My load mashed potatoes had lots of flavor and premium ingredients! Firebirds will now be in our restaurant rotation!!!“
