“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

We did have an issue upon arrival wherein our group of 10 (celebrating a bachelorette weekend, reservation made months in advance) was going to be seated in two groups of 5 across the room from each other. However, a member of our party spoke to management and we were quickly accommodated and ended up with a WONDERFUL waitress. Great experience - I highly recommend dining here at least once during a visit to Nashville!“

“We visited on a night when the AC had gone out, so it was a tad warm. But the server did a great job of working through that glitch. The cocktail menu was fun and creative. The dinner menu combines classics very simply prepared over live fire with out of the box shareables, such as the corn ribs, which are a MUST. “Traveled to Nashville from Missouri. Stayed at the Courtyard Downtown Nashville. We could not decided where to eat due to many choices. We decided to stay in the hotel and go to the first floor and just eat here at the hotel. We were treated as if we were royalty. The food is world class food. Nothing can compare. The atmosphere was that of a dream. Great music. They play the best music live making it an experience not to forget. If you need to feel like a famous person from Nashville, you have to go to Gannon’s in Nashville. Cole and Matt were very professional and we can not wait to go back!“

“This was a highlight of our girls trip to Nashville. The songwriters were so engaging & great story tellers. We were able to hear some well known songs as well as some originals. We had a great time!!“

“It’s been 25 years It’s been 25 years since we have eaten at Darfons in Donaldson. We were last there when we actually lived in Donaldson and it was in the old location on Donaldson Pike. I found everything about the new location excellent. The food, the service, the facility. I think that’s what a restaurant is supposed to be all about. 🧐 I’m so glad we made the 30 minute drive from West Nashville. It really wasn’t all that far. Upon arrival, the host quickly seated us at a nice table. I have family visiting including a nine month old and they made every accommodation. It was very nice. The next person we saw was John our waiter. He was knowledgeable and efficient and made several good recommendations. I asked him if I should order the prime rib or the lamb chops and without missing a beat he said the lamb chops. So I ordered them cooked medium, and they were probably the best lamb chops I’ve been served in a restaurant in Nashville. One exception might be midtown Cafe 30+ years ago. They were always awesome. We also ordered several specials, including the aged pork chop and the wahoo fish. Both were excellent. The place was packed and everybody seemed to be very happy. I had fibbed just a bit on the reservation and said it was my birthday. Who doesn’t love a free dessert? Best crème brûlée I’ve had in Nashville in a long, long time. The bread pudding was good not great as was the salted caramel ice cream. The trip home was delightful as I got our chauffeur to take us the long way home on Briley Parkway. We passed by Shopreiland and then the Opryland hotel. After that, there were a whole lot of trees on the way back to White Bridge Road. Rest assured it will not be 25 more years before I walk through the doors of Darfons . I could tell when I walked in that the place was all about food and they had a great handle on standards and consistency and absolute food quality. Very refreshing in this day and time. You’ll find Darfons on Elm Hill Pike very close to Donaldson Pike. Give it a try you won’t regret it.“

I got the hot chicken, fried w/ chili on top.
The medium spice flavor was stated to be around a 5/6 and the hot spice flavor was stated to be around a 7/8.
The chicken was unexpectedly flavorful and very savory. The spice level was perfect for my liking (hot).
I would absolutely come back with people who have never been here before.
I went late at night after watching some musician friends play at an event. The food wait was about 15 min.“

“What a great place. The whole vibe from the outside of the building to the inside is amazing. The food and service were great as well. We sat outside and they have very nicely added some fans to move the humidity around but not like fans on stands, these are tucked in so they are not cheap looking. The inside of the building is beautiful. The smell from the wood smoking and being used to fire the grill for steaks and stuff hits you when you walk in and you know instantly its going to be great. Bartenders make exceptional craft cocktails and the beer list was diverse enough for everyone to find an option. We had Tacos and the Trinity Platter. The smoked meat was perfect, the two sauces along with pickles and onions gave the meal that perfect BBQ vibe but elevated and not just some bbq sauces form a jar. The Carolina sauce was very good and overall the meal was really well done. We have been to German Town quite a bit when trveling to Nashville, but this was our first time here and will become one of our normal stops.“

“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“
