“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“The food was incredible we had the duck tart as an appetizer, filet and salmon for our main course and it was immaculate. Price for 3 people with 2 apps, 3 entrées, and a desert was only $200 and honestly I probably would game been more than happy to pay 100 a plate. That's how amazing the food was. Our server was very attentive and got us water whenever it was low, along with the food coming out extremely quickly. If you are in Nashville definitely give it a try.“

“We had an early reservation. The building is great. The service was tremendous. Each staff member was incredibly attentive and helpful. My wife's food, including her perfectly cooked filet, was great. My food was generally very good too. My ribeye steak was cooked just as requested, but I found one half to be tough, while the other half was perfect. In my experience, this is something that happens from time to time. If I return to Nashville, I won't hesitate to give The Standard another visit.“

“UPDATE: My first experience was underwhelming but I gave it another try and the biscuits and gravy for breakfast were great. I gave this place another star (from 3/5 to 4/5) and would go back.

Original review: 1 Kitchen at 1 Hotel is a beautiful restaurant inside a stunning, high-end hotel. The concept of the menu is fantastic, and I love the overall vibe. My beet salad, however, was unsalted and a bit underwhelming. The chicken was seared, but parts of it were burnt, and I had to cut them off. Just a few tweaks in the kitchen and more attention to seasoning could take it from good to great.

That said, I’ve heard from a friend that the sandwiches and brunch are excellent, so I’d definitely give it another try. Service and atmosphere are both 5/5 stars.

“Went to The Rutledge with another couple for a Wednesday night. Arrived an hour early for our reservation to take advantage of Happy Hour. The host was very friendly and the bartender was very helpful in filling us in on the Fall cocktails - they were delicious! I had checked the website for Happy Hour and it says there is a %25 discount off all cocktails before 6 pm. The bartender however, told us it was only %20. When seated for dinner our server Steve, was extremely friendly and helpful. I had called ahead to check on corkage fees and the lady who I spoke with told me $45 but our friend had also called and someone told him $25. Steve, our waiter told us $40. Other than those issues we all LOVED this restaurant as each of our dinners were fabulous. Between the four of us we ordered the shrimp pasta, salmon, gumbo and the short rib dinners. No complaints at all - food was yummy! Steve helped us navigate "too spicy" etc. We shall be back. Please adjust your website and make sure everyone is on the same page for Happy Hour prices and corkage fees and this will be a slam dunk!“

“Interesting place. Good food. Family styled all you can eat sides. Coleslaw and green beans are excellent. Great French fries, which are served with most entrees. The only item I would not recommend is the fried clams. They were extremely small and over breaded. Could not even taste the clams. Everything else is very good, if not outright excellent! Sides are served family-style and they're all you can eat. We've had both the catfish and the chicken, and they were both very good. Definitely a pleasant place to eat. The people are very friendly and work hard. I defineitely recommend!“

“Expect to wait even with a resy. Service seems to be lacking — they could care less about us being there but if you manage to grab a seat at the bar, always a good time. Menu is seasonal and highly recommend the wagyu / strip when it's available.“

I got the hot chicken, fried w/ chili on top.
The medium spice flavor was stated to be around a 5/6 and the hot spice flavor was stated to be around a 7/8.
The chicken was unexpectedly flavorful and very savory. The spice level was perfect for my liking (hot).
I would absolutely come back with people who have never been here before.
I went late at night after watching some musician friends play at an event. The food wait was about 15 min.“

“We went somewhere else for breakfast this morning and regretted it! If we get breakfast it's almost always either Red Rooster or Waffle House. Never going anywhere else again! The Roo has never disappointed. They're quick, delicious, very fairly priced! The servers are on top of it! I even had a rough morning getting my 4 year old in the door and a server opened her arms and he jumped right in them, giving her a big hug. Totally changed his mood around. We love Red Rooster. 🥰“
