“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“We visited on a night when the AC had gone out, so it was a tad warm. But the server did a great job of working through that glitch. The cocktail menu was fun and creative. The dinner menu combines classics very simply prepared over live fire with out of the box shareables, such as the corn ribs, which are a MUST. Parking is rough, but it was all quite worth the visit.“

“Traveled to Nashville from Missouri. Stayed at the Courtyard Downtown Nashville. We could not decided where to eat due to many choices. We decided to stay in the hotel and go to the first floor and just eat here at the hotel. We were treated as if we were royalty. The food is world class food. Nothing can compare. The atmosphere was that of a dream. Great music. They play the best music live making it an experience not to forget. If you need to feel like a famous person from Nashville, you have to go to Gannon’s in Nashville. Cole and Matt were very professional and we can not wait to go back!“

“We were in town for a concert so I wanted to find a place near Nissan and it was perfect. Steve, our server, was very friendly- even offered to take pictures of us. He made a point to remember our names. The drinks were tasty and nice pours! An espresso martini is my go to before a concert and it was a delicious way to end our dinner. My only complaint was that the steak was a tad under medium, according to my husband.“

“Once again the Standard at the Smith House proves its namesake as the standard of excellence for dining in downtown Nashville. The Standard continues to be the go to restaurant for special occasions. From start to finish the experience is unrivaled. On this occasion, we hung out in the lounge for a bit. The bar staff was amazing. One member of our party did not drink, but the bartender made him feel involved by mixing him several non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. All six members of our dinner party had a different menu entree. All were pleased, but the lamb was hands down the best.“

I got the hot chicken, fried w/ chili on top.
The medium spice flavor was stated to be around a 5/6 and the hot spice flavor was stated to be around a 7/8.
The chicken was unexpectedly flavorful and very savory. The spice level was perfect for my liking (hot).
I would absolutely come back with people who have never been here before.
I went late at night after watching some musician friends play at an event. The food wait was about 15 min.“

“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“
