“It is a nice, clean, franchise location, with a very nice owner. I happened to have met the owner on multiple occasions, who had to make subs because this location is infested with unprofessional and rude staff which they had to fire. So for a brief period of time, they had one worker for day shifts with the owner of this location pitching in. Since then they have hired new staff, but you might want to watch them because they have messed up a sandwich or two before on accident. Yummy sandwiches.“

“I think I may have had the pleasure of meeting Mindy B herself - and her mama! I felt so welcome here. The kitchen was a little backed up when I placed my order, but I didn’t have to wait in a line, just a tick for my order. Anyone I spoke with in the restaurant was just like talking with family. You can tell these folks work very hard and take pride in this place. I got my food to go (not because of the wait, just because of preference) and when I got back to my hotel, I was shocked at how large the portions were, especially for the price!! I had ordered the vegan wrap with a side salad and I had two meals out of it. That hardly ever happens with vegetarian or vegan food!!! The only thing that kept me coming back was the lack of time in Chattanooga. The food was delicious and fresh! If I ever find myself back in Chattanooga, I WILL be back!!! Thank you, Mindy B + team!!!“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“I ordered 4 sandwiches 2 giants 2 regulars. Mine were great. But my friends order was wrong and it was fixed wrong, then trainer delivered sandwiches to office and they still had mayonaise so employees need to pay attention. I understand it's a new store but can't run a business messing orders up twice in one day.“

He helped me figure out how we could make my daughter a meatball sub with the gluten free bread and took the extra effort to help make it where it wasn’t cross contaminated. He went out of his way. “Staff has to be rated #1 at any Subway, Period. They are on top of their game and take the time to make the perfect sub. I got the Meatball with Pepper jack. Perfect with Superb Service. Very Clean Environment. Mask are still highly recommended at this location for the time being.“

“I used to work at Subway. I am somewhat specific as to how I prefer to have my Subway sandwiches prepared. I was happy that the employees at this Subway were able to follow my requests and make it the same way I would have done myself. This has not always been the case at other locations. They were also fast and friendly. I was somewhat surprised when they asked my partner if he was (eligible for a senior discount) over 62 years old, but we shared a good laugh about it when we arrived back home, so it was certainly not a big deal. The bread was just a little dry, and the tomatoes could have been fresher, but I don't expect anything different from Subway. The food was still good and I enjoyed it very much.“
