“Very very good treats. I have celiac's and I can't tolerate processed sugar and filler additives. Awesome Bites is the only place I know I can treat myself without having any negative side affects. This will always by my go to treat spot.“

“Great spot to try for Portuguese food in Houston. Service was on point with great recommendations. Tapas/small bites plates so if you have more than 4 people will need to order more than one order of each so everyone gets a taste. They kept the lighting just bright enough to enjoy the food and ambiance“

“Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

“Great service, good food, nice atmosphere. Weird to have our steak come out to table to show then taken back to split. Wish ice accompanied water but I guess we could have asked for it. Had the cheese cake for the birthday girl, it was fabulous!“

“Inside is very plain and uninviting. Outdoor patio was nice. Music was loud and in general not good. Need Mediterranean music. Friendly and helpful server. Lots of variety on the menu. Meat with good flavor, moist and not overcooked. Fresh veggies. Good flavor in the sauce. Some things feel overpriced though. I would return. :)“

“We went as a large group: two families meeting part way and neither from the area. It was wonderful to be able to have options for our dairy free and gluten free family. Not only did we have options but the food was very good. We had so many things : pizza, pasta, egg roll, plantain nachos, and yucca fries. We were a little loud (6 kids under 10) but the service was kind and patient -- even when one spilled a full glass of water . They even took a picture of us as a group and made sure my boys were smiling. Overall --- great food, excellent service and overall good experience . We hope to make it back there if we ever are in town again !“

“Friends invited me to join them for brunch, and I was amazed. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so cozy. I can only imagine having a cozy dinner there with a special someone. The pianist could play almost any request ever composed. I definitely recommend this getaway.Parking: I chose to valet and the cost was tip only.“

“Came here on a whim with a vegan friend who raves about this place. And went crazy. Got the blueberry, banana walnut and the lemon poppy muffins. The lemon poppy was by FAR my favorite. It was moist with the perfect lemony flavor. The icing is not super sweet and complements the muffin. The blueberry was good and flavorful and then the banana walnut. There was a chunk of banana in it which gave me finger vibes wish it was chopped up more. For that reason I didn't finish the muffin. And it was the end of the banana with the black tip. The strawberry shortcake cookie combo was really good. The chocolate chip cookie and strawberries were blended perfectly. All in all it was great and I'm gonna come back for the breakfast pizza and the grandma cookies.“

“Drinks were incredible. Lemon Drop and Hemingway. Concocted with a balance blend to not overwhelm but a smoothness to say "I'll have another".Dinner was Red Fish topped with scallops and a lemon butter sauce. EXCELLENT! The pasta if it had a complimentary sauce would have been great as well but a marinara did not suit well with lemon butter. Tomato is acidity so though not terrible the two contrasting flavors surprised me the chef didn't notice this match missed. Just order lemon butter on your noodles if you have similar cream sauce on the protein. I went twice in 1 week. It's that good.“

“Place has a nice charm to it but there are a few things they should’ve done differently. For one, the tables are crazy small and the chairs are not comfortable at all. Crepe was ok but very dry. I had the one with chicken and bacon and a teeny tiny bit of cheese and a teaspoon of sauce on top. Nutella waffles were fabulous. Service was very good. Charming but could use a little tweaking.“

“Why 5 stars? Because after far too long, I finally made it here, and it was worth the wait. --- --- --- I discovered Crumbville over a year ago and it just never worked out for me to stop in and visit. Despite it not being super close by where we at lunch, I made it a point that it finally had to happen. And why did I wait so long?? When we first walked in, there was a line of people waiting to pay for what they'd picked out. But, the owner, despite being busy with all of these people, still greeted us and was going over all of the different options in the store, while she was ringing up people in line. When we made it to the front of the line, she could not have possibly been a friendlier human. It's no wonder the reviews here are so amazing, because even if you don't absolutely love the goodies, you can't help but enjoy coming in here. As for what we bought: Mayniac Munch = 4.5 stars. Red velvet, chocolate chip pecan cookie dough & oreos. This was solid when we snacked on a couple bites in the car, but so amazing when we got home and heated it up a little bit. Best of Both Worlds = 4.5 stars. Fudge brownie topped with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough and cream cheese. This was my wife's choice and something I wasn't super excited about. But I took one bite and next thing I knew, I had eaten half of it! Butter ThickHER Thana Snicker = 5 stars. Moist Butter cake with our Signature ThickHER Thana Snicker cookie (rich chocolate dough filled with peanuts, chocolate, Caramel, nougats & popcorn) baked inside. This was absolutely stupid good. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. How about 15? The icing was amazing too. And the best part was that I didn't feel awful after eating it. I don't know what she puts in this stuff to not give me an immediate stomach ache full of regret afterward, like most baked goods, but it's heaven. I will not wait 14 months to make my next visit, I promise you that.“

“Searched up “keto” on google maps and found this gem. The man that greeted me was very nice and informative. I got the white chocolate macadamia, cinnamon snickerdoodle, and chocolate chip pecan. So far I’ve tried 2/3 with the macadamia left but these cookies are really good!!! They’re soft and don’t have a weird after taste or make my teeth hurt like the quest cookies. Praying for them to be in every HEB soon and I can’t wait for more products!!!“

“Great neighborhood restaurant! Lot's of different options in the menu and drinks. You can book a table if you want but we went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of free tables. The service was kinda challenging, not sure if this happened because we were outside and there were not so many customers at the time. The food is mainly responsibly grown and organic, so prices are a bit higher and portions are enough. Try the flourless chocolate cake!“

“Highly recommended wedding and event bakery! I didn’t think I’d enjoy cake tasting until I went with my then fiancé to pick a cake for our wedding. From setting up the appointment to being there making the selections then the follow through by Cakes by Gina, we were impressed and well taken care of from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and eager to make your vision come true. All the various samples along with champagne, it was truly a very good experience. The cost was reasonable and the cake in the end was better than even the sample. Getting there was a bit painful only because we came from the opposite side of town. Cake delivery to the venue happened without an issue. Overall, probably our favorite vendor through this experience. Thank you Gina and team!Dietary restrictions: Cakes by Gina had its options, just let them know what you need and they’ll take care of you.“

“Came here couple of years ago and decided to give it a try again. I am not sure but I think this place temporarily closed and re-opened?Anyways I went to grab brunch yesterday and went with matcha french toast and iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. Wasn't quite sure what to expect on the matcha french toast and was surprised by the presentation. I think it was prob the healthiest french toast I've eaten in my entire life. It wasn't the omgosh it's delicious, but it was still yumyum in some way. The toast was quite chewy and I found the ingredients topped off interesting. Like blueberries and nuts and leaves... Vanilla latte was strong, and felt healthy too. No sugar it seemed.Parking is limited. About 10 spots. You can street park but if the weather is bad, i don't think it's the best. They have both outdoor and indoor seatings. I like the calm and aesthetic atmosphere. Customer service is awesome!I felt like the price point was a bit high but I'm assuming it's maybe due to all the health-conscious ingredients they use?“

“Quick, fast, and delicious! We have had Pei Wei for years and are new to this area and were happy to see one nearby. I'd not seen a takeaway and delivery only concept for this restaurant before. Josh, the GM, came out right as we walked in and even took a couple minutes to help me find a menu item that fit my diet. Food was ready in minutes while we waited in the lobby. If you are nearby or passing through this is a nice stop for some quick Asian food. ?“

“This has to be the best baklava shop anywhere outside the Middle East and Turkey. I lived many years in the Middle East and Turkey so I speak from first-hand experience. I’ve tried baklava all over the US and Europe, with mixed results. But Suzie’s is consistently good, and each baklava variety is absolutely amazing. I recommend getting a sampling of several each time you go.Vegetarian options: It’s a dessert shop so they don’t serve any meat dishes.Parking: It’s a strip mall so plenty of parking.“

“Badolina is one of my favorite places for a quick breakfast. Now; it's not a full service breakfast place as they only have pastries, but they do have some options with eggs that are a little hearty like their quiches, but that's not why I come here. I come here for the double chocolate croissant. It's so good. Oh my god. I could eat like 3 of them in one sitting. And then the pizza focaccia. Like who doesn't love an excuse to have pizza for breakfast? The prices can add up pretty quickly but usually I order 1-2 things and the damage isn't too bad ($10-$14 depending on what I order). Make sure you get one of their coffees to go with your pasties. Lastly, the patio. I absolutely am enchanted with their patio. It is like going to a European cafe without leaving Texas. The service is fast as well. Definitely would recommend this place!“

“This is a great local cafe in the area! There is plenty of seating and I love the vibes here. There are a lot of windows, so this cafe gets plenty of natural lighting. There's also outdoor seating too if the weather is nice enough outside to sit out there and enjoy it. There is also plenty of parking since the parking lot is big in this plaza. I have honestly not tried any of the bakery or food items here yet. I've only tried the vanilla latte (hot) and morning matcha latte (iced). Both drinks are delicious. The morning matcha latte typically comes with oat milk (unless you ask otherwise), and I felt like it made it taste really good. It wasn't overly sweet, but was sweet just enough for me. I liked how clean, modern, and spacious the cafe is. I will definitely be back to try out the food items some time!“

“This is such an awesome place with the friendliest staffs and lots of creativity hence the beautifully decorated dog treats! I bought bone cakes for both of my dogs’ birthdays and they love it. It is the perfect size for little pups. One of them has a very sensitive stomach and eats the cake without issues so I know the ingredients are good. I will definitely be returning for all things freshly baked dog treats and good vibes.“

“HIGHLY Recommend! We are favorites of this place and refer our athletes to My Fit Food whenever they are asking about a meal prep company. Service is top notch. They utilize names and remember your favorite meals. They walk you to the door or your car. They are consistently asking about us personally and really try to get to know their customers. All that being said, the food is clutch. They have options so you can switch it up if you need to.“

“We have lived in northside for a couple of years; we now regret having waited so long to try Rocco's. It was delightful. The porch was pleasant, the bathrooms were clean, and, most importantly, the food was tasty. Our son enjoyed the kids pizza (it's big) and we tried two pasta dishes. The tiramisu was a delight too. We'll go back.Kid-friendliness: They do not have a kids menu but do have kid meal options. They were friendly and seemed genuinely happy we were there as a family.“

“I always enjoyed Flying Biscuit when I lived in Atlanta. So I was super excited when I found out they were in the Houston market. And yesterday, my mom and I dropped in on our way home from the airport. Janet greeted and seated us. She brings so much good energy to the front door. Our server was sweet and the food was perfectly prepared. We both had scrambles that were both well sized and delicious - veggie and vegan. My mom added a side of bacon - which she commented was great. Of course the biscuits and grits are worth the visit on their own, but we added the fried green tomatoes too. I loved the topping combination...but they were good without as well (which my mom chose). I am just hoping that they consider opening a location further west on I-10...maybe near the Buc-ee's. Hint Hint.“

“The shop is little and so cute but it doesn’t feel super small if that makes sense. They have toys there for the kiddos and some live music was showing up when we were halfway done it was a Saturday. There is also seating outside.Spent about $25 - ordered an iced flat white which was delicious, an iced white mocha latte with an extra shot of espresso it was also really good but just a tad too sweet, a pastry cake , a butter croissant and a banana.“

“Food and service is great. Leaving 4 stars because although they offer gluten free items, it's not celiac friendly from my experiences. I can't speak for every celiac individual out there but I'm very sensitive to the cross contamination and even if I specify the allergy, it's always enough to make me sick. So sad I can't eat here anymore.“

“The Veruca salt cake is totally worth $61.50 (for 8" as of March 2024). It's described as "devil's food cake paired with salted caramel buttercream, pretzel crunch and Valrhona Caramelia crunchy pearls". The cake was well balanced, not too sweet, and had really great texture. This is a cake that I definitely cannot make myself at home at my current skill level. It was too perfect! I really appreciated the neat hand writing. You are allowed three words... generally it's "Happy Birthday (Name)". The baker wrote it much neater than I can do with a pencil or pen. Well done! It's controversial, but I wasn't a huge fan of an automatic gratuity of 15 percent and being asked twice to tip online, especially before receiving the cake or experiencing the service. It can be manually adjusted whatever value you prefer, but I rather the employee's wages be fairly baked into the price - just personal preference. We bought some day-old cookies for a discounted price. No regrets there! We enjoyed every bit of it! No vegan options (currently) for those who live that life style - sorry! If you want the cake, you must order in advance. I ordered the day before. Just do it! You'll love it!“

“Stopped here after soccer on a Saturday looking for something substantial to feed my massive appetite. I had no idea how awesome it would be. These sandwiches are amazing. They make them fresh to order, with real ingredients. Had the Italian, and my daughter had the meatball. Both were delicious, and to make it even better, these subs are only about $10, including chips. You can't even eat at Subway for that much anymore, and subway is total rubbish compared to this. Can't wait to go back and try other things.“

Everything was great!I ordered the redfish étouffée at the recommendation of our server. It was fantastic. Edges of the redfish nice and crisp. The shrimp was delicious. “Enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading to the Fine Arts Museum. Came on a quiet Wednesday morning and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service by my waitress Zeidi I believe was her name. Pictured is the corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and I substituted the toast with a gluten free version of a strawberry shortcake pancake along with a cappuccino. The ambience is charming and retro reminiscent of the 60’s/70’s with plenty of seating options for groups, couples, solo diners and bar/counter area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free optionsParking: Plenty of parking, much of the lot was taken (came in on a quiet morning) which I would assume would make weekend dining difficult to find a spot. My guess is the parking lot must be shared by the building behind. Some street parking is available.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space to dine in with kids on booths and wrap around booths with chairs side as well.“
“I visited on an overcast day but I could imagine this spot truly shines in the sunlight. This intimate cozy nook is punctuated by concentrated warm light, brick accents, deep wood tones, blissful tunes, and friendly people. What a win for Spring! I was greeted with a smile and a window display of sweet treats (including an ube cupcake). Everything I ordered arrived hot, fresh, and smelling delicious. The peppermint tea was peppermint tea, the Philly cheesesteak was flavorful. Could the "meat" pass for meat or the "cheese" pass for cheese, no. Does it matter, no. This lighter, flavorful take is a pretty impressive way to consume vegetables and I'm all for it. While the ube cupcake was a little denser than I'd prefer, the frosting was amazing, and I'm excited to try their other varieties. I'm so happy these folks are planted here! Excited to see them continue to blossom!“
