“I ate here all the time when the Casstevens family owned it and they were on the Texas Monthly BBQ radar. Had a couple of bad trips after the ownership change, but gave it a try today, and I was really glad I did. The brisket on my sandwich was moist and delicious (no sauce for me). The portion was just right for a normal human, and the lunch special came with a bag of chips and a cold, canned soft drink for only $5.99. I'll definitely be back again.“

“The food is always consistently good! I love their nachos and my husband always gets the brisket tacos. They have great options for kiddos too like quesadillas or soft tacos. They are friendly to everyone that walks in and I even noticed they remember regulars orders. Good people and good food! Plus the cookies they give out are delicious!“

“Had a HS reunion/ luncheon. There were about 25 of us. We were well accommodated and staff was awesome.
I had brisket and spicey sausage that was great. Took some bbq chicken to go for my wife and she loved it. And to top it off the big goblets of draft beer were at a surprising low price of $2.50!! I had to get a 2nd one!!!🍺🍺“
