“Check out their menu online. If their dishes sounds savory it's because they are. Food is excellently seasoned subtle and delicious. The two taco plate for $14.99 is an amazing bargain. We've been going there since they opened. Never get tired of the place.Parking: Shares large parking lot with Market Street, East side of FM 2499 just north of FM 1171.“

“The food is consistently delicious, but the best part of the experience is the outstanding service. The staff here makes you feel like they actually appreciate you coming in to dine with them. We've been lucky to have Simara be our server and she is fantastic! She remembers what you normally order but also has great suggestions on other great food options. We always look forward to our Friday dates at this location :)“

“We went for Easter brunch this morning. Great atmosphere and service. Especially I have a gluten issue and the buffet are not clearly marked. So when I asked about it, the manager made fresh gluten free enchiladas and taco for me! Did I mention the mimosa? You get two with the buffet? We definitely will go back!“

“This was our 5th trip to Martha's and we had dine in breakfast. We both had street tacos type lunch combo with their Barbados, I had corn tortillas, the other had flour tortillas. The Barba was the most tasty, we've ever had! A slightly different flavor t han typical. No fat or grizzly parts. Lots more to say, they are now our favorite. Foodie haunt! Love the owners, especially the cook! They madespecial efforts to make sure we got a tasty chicken tamales order.Highly Recommend!“

“Maria’s is a staple and must go to the area! We frequent Maria’s at least once a week whether for dinner tacos or morning breakfast. The tacos are SO good and filled with meat. We particularly love the carnitas and Barbacoa. If you’re in the mood for a quesadilla or nachos, both also very good! But DON’T skip out on breakfast here. The sausage, egg and cheese are yum and also very full! And lastly I’ve never tasted a better pancake in my life. I’m not usually a pancake person and now I crave it. Even without butter and syrup it has a special taste unlike any other. Staff are always kind, service is fast, and our order is never wrong.“

“I love coming here because the food is really good. One thing that ruins the dining experience is they have 2 different stereos playing. In the dining area they play Latin music, but in the kitchen they blast whatever music the staff wants to listen to. It makes it feel chaotic and not pleasant hearing two different songs the whole time we’re eating. Also service seems a bit slow. I have to ask for them to bring our desserts out even though it’s clear we’ve finished the entrees. Food is excellent but the dining experience could definitely improve.“

“I love this restaurant it is my new go to place for delicious authentic Mexican food! I was starving one night back in February when it was really cold and I was craving chicken mole so bad! I haven’t found very many authentic Mexican restaurants in Denton that make Chicken Mole. So I was so excited when I came across Don Chiquitos! They have the best Chicken Mole I have ever had! It was so full of flavor and I also got so full! They give you really big portion sizes! It’s also really affordable a lot more affordable than most restaurants! I have also tried their Al pastor tacos and they are amazing! Im already addicted to Don Chiquitos food and the cheap prices too! This is my new go to authentic Mexican restaurant at the moment!“

“Update 4-3024: Prices have skyrocketed to the ridiculous. We've been living in Europe so not at Gloria's for nearly a year. Call margaritas made with añejo are now $19 apiece! With taxes and tip, totally nuts. Of course, we expect to pay more for the call drink, but this left a sour taste and doubts about our long-time favorite. What a disappointment.Excellent, as always. (My husband has been a regular at the Gloria's chain for decades.) Terrific new server from Mexico City. Sopa Maricada (f/k/a sopa siete mares) was fabulous as always as were the camarones a la plancha. If you want to guarantee a hangover-free next morning, Gloria's margaritas made with Herradura añejo are the delicious ticket! Only tiny hiccup on this last visit was that we actually had to ask for refills of chips and salsas.“

“These are the best tacos in the metroplex. These are the best quesadillas in the metroplex. I have eaten at every Mexican food place you have and then some. These tacos are better than those tacos. The green sauce is the best green sauce. The red sauce will melt your face and you’ll beg for more. Do yourself a favor and eat here. I recommend the Al pastor tacos and the chicharrone tacos. The cabeza tacos are also good, but Al pastor is best in my humble opinion. You aren’t doing the fine ladies and gentleman that work here any favors by eating here; they are doing YOU a favor by taking your order and cooking for you. Look at my pic. I might eat the styrofoam box too. That is how good it is.“

“This place is incredible! They have the best (and largest) burritos in Flower Mound! I've had about 7 different kinds and they've all been excellent. Their machaca burrito at only $6.50 is my go to and it's a fantastic value, especially given how much meat they give you. The fact that they have a drive through is super convenient too. I seriously can't recommend it enough!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maria Del Mar, a hidden gem tucked away in Roanoke, Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of Maria Del Mar is the exceptional service provided by Mario and his team. Their friendly and attentive approach added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, and it truly reflects in the overall dining experience. One insider tip that I highly recommend: be sure to ask for their off-menu delights - the Habanero Sauce, Molcajete Salsa, and Toreado's. These hidden gems are not advertised, but they are absolutely worth trying. The Habanero Sauce packs a punch of flavor and heat, while the Molcajete Salsa adds a fresh, authentic touch to your meal. Toreado's, with its rich and smoky flavor, is another must-try. What sets Maria Del Mar apart from the typical Tex-Mex establishments is its commitment to freshness. The ingredients used in their dishes are clearly of high quality, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It's a refreshing departure from the ordinary Tex-Mex fare, and it's evident that the chefs take pride in crafting each dish with care. The margaritas and the incredible refried black beans at Maria Del Mar! These are two more reasons why this restaurant stands out. The margaritas at Maria Del Mar are nothing short of amazing. Whether you prefer them on the rocks or blended, they have the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Sipping on one of their margaritas adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your meal, making it a true fiesta for your taste buds. And let's not forget about the refried black beans. They are a hidden treasure in themselves. Creamy, flavorful, and with a delightful hint of smokiness, these beans are a must-try side dish. They perfectly complement the main dishes and add a richness that elevates your dining experience to another level. In conclusion, Maria Del Mar is a hidden treasure in Roanoke, Texas, offering a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. With welcoming hospitality, off-menu delights, and a dedication to fresh, flavorful cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor something special in the Tex-Mex scene. My wife and I will undoubtedly be returning to Maria Del Mar to explore more of their culinary delights and enjoy the warm atmosphere created by Mario and his team.“

“The food is good, and made with LOVE. You can tell. This place is not overpriced like all of the other Mexican restaurants throughout this area and Keller. The food reminds me of home in San Antonio. Barbacoa tacos $2.50, beautiful. I found a new favorite for this area.“

“I've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it- finally remembered to write a review! I typically get the founder, but decided to try the lone star. It was pretty good. The brisket had great flavor and was tender. I wish the meat was more evenly spread amongst the tortilla as it all clumped to the "bottom" of the quesadilla. The top half wasn't eaten as it was just tortilla and cheese. Seasoned fries were amazing as always. I always forget to order extra jalapeño ranch; it's yummy with whatever quesadilla you order AND the fries. Not much spice to it, but I also have a higher tolerance for spice. The cirrus corn salsa was forgettable; tasted like a bland homemade salad that went heavy on corn. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great. I wouldn't order it again. Chips and queso were delish and came free when I signed up for their rewards program. The queso had a Smokey flavor to it and a very subtle heat. The chips had whatever seasoning the fries have, which I love. I do wish the seasoning was distributed more evenly across the chips. I also ordered a limeade with this meal; not too sweet and very refereshing. It could have a tad more of that citrus tart I love so much in lemonades/limeades. A great change of pace from traditional fast food. The workers are nice and the service is fast.“

“One of the things I love about Denton are the mom and pop restaurants serving up some delicious food! Such is El Matador! My go-to here are the cheese tacos. They are the best cheese tacos I've had at any Mexican restaurant ever. I have never had bad service here on what it is now four visits. They are always fast and friendly and very efficient. The ambience is pretty old-school. Old-school Mexican restaurant that is. It was probably pretty hip in the 70s and now that vibe is kind of making its way back and they are original!“

“We eat here at least twice a week. It's very, very good. They are owner-operated and it's very obvious by how well their restaurant is kept and how bomb the food is. “Raul gave us beyond excellent service as a manager. He turned the heaters outside for us and he continued to check on us and brought my baby out some milk with warm water in the pitcher just above and beyond what I asked for. We cannot thank the staff more for our great experience with a night out with friends. Food is always excellent thank you kitchen staff. Danielle and Raul were awesome.“

“All of the Taco Bells in Denton are terrible, so I decided to give Taco Casa a shot. For my first visit, the food came out quickly and tasted great with the downsides being the higher prices and lack of combos/deals that Taco Bell has. I spent $18 for 2 soft tacos, 2 super tacos, and a large Dr. Pepper (mostly ice). I rarely spend over $10 at Taco Bell for a similar meal. Taco Casa seems to have better consistency and overall quality, which makes it a good substitute but not my first choice.“

“Ive never been inside, however, i can only assume that the service and atmosphere is great considering the fact that every dish ive eaten is immaculate. Not really one to write food reviews, but this establishment deserves all the stars. The menue size is heavenly with every kind of food you can think of and each dish is spiced to perfection. I only regret adding a whole package of lemon juice to my corn, and that was all my doing. It makes my day everytime i get my order!“

“Went and sat at the bar for a date with my husband. Enjoyed an appetizer and some drinks! The service was great for the most part. I was a bit confused when I received my bill. We ordered the David’s Queso which came WITH corn and brisket for 11.99, but my bill had an “open food” item charge for 2.50. Bartender (she) told us it was for the brisket. If this is the case, it needs to be advertised as an additional charge on the menu, not a total price.Other than that, we ordered food to take home for our kiddos. It was subpar, but they’re not picky!“

“We were greeted quickly by the lovely owner, she took our order and then chatted with us a bit. We order chips and salsa, the salsa was good. The chips a little thicker than we like but still good. I had a carnitas taco. The taco was on a flour tortilla, with onion and cilantro. The pork was very tender and good. I also had the fajita chicken taco. I would order them both as street tacos next time. My husband had the chicken flauta and quesadilla. The chicken was moist, and the flauta was tasty. Glass bottle cokes for drinks. My husband tried the fountain Mountain Dew but we just aren't fountains soda fans. We will definitely return. And wish this lovely couple of 45 years many more years of happiness.“

“Our first time was amazing. We had a large group of hungry friends, there was a wait for out table, but once in, they didn't disappoint. Everything was fantastic, very fresh and flavorful , and that includes their flavored margaritas. It's been six month we went back with high anticipation remembering how good the food was on our first visit. This time we had a smaller group just six of us, there was no wait they got a table ready, server was friendly, but seemed to be in a rush, then the food was ok, not fantastic like before. We ordered two different desserts, our flan was ok, it was the smooth texture of a good flan, it was harder than softer. Our friends order the hot skillet apple pie, the skillet was extremely hot, it actually burned the crust it only cooled down after shifting the small scoop of ice cream into the skillet which then melted the ice cream and reveal the charging of the crust. We didn't complain, we just know not to have high expectations anymore.“

“Ok...why did no one ever tell me about this place before now. A week ago my wife heard from a friend that the best tacos in Flower Mound were located in a gas station. I was like What....a gas station...so you can say I was a little skeptical but was willing to give it a try. OMG....they were so right. The tacos at Taqueria 7 Estrellas located in a small gas station are the best tacos in Flower Mound period! Just stepping into the place smells amazing. The flavors of Mexican cooking are in the air and making your mouth watering from the moment you step in. Then I was like I'll get just 2 and when they rang it up it was $4 ($2 per taco) so I said wait......make that 4 tacos...and this was before I had even tried them. One we got the smokey meat filled tacos and a coke in a bottle we headed out. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before I was already digging in. The flavors when they hit your mouth explode ? into yummy goodness. The tacos took me back to a time we went to Mexico City and explored the goodness of street taco culture in Mexico. The is a 5 star place with 5 star food. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. And to all those people who were keeping this quiet to keep it all to yourself....shame on you for hiding this gem from me. LOL ?. I'm hungry now. Tacos for lunch it is....heading over there now. May not be anything left when I am done.“
