“The Anko Cookie is absolutely amazing!

The almond cookie is buttery without butter, and the creamy anko filling melts in your mouth. It's unique, elegant, and not overly sweet like many desserts. I ended up buying a few more to take home.

Since they're handmade in small batches, they sometimes sell out before the end of the day. I'd recommend checking availability or stopping by early if you really want to try them.

If you're visiting Austin, don't miss Nancy's Sky Garden—this cookie alone is worth the trip.“

We stopped by recently and did their Sedona Lime and Med Harissa Bowl, both were freshly prepared and tasted very good. You can also do custom bowls choosing your own proteins, rice/salad base and other food items/sauces. Prices are about right for the food quality and portion sizes served. Seating area is a regular, casual restaurant and bowls are prepared fairly quickly.“

“I went for an early Wednesday lunch with 2 coworkers. We were the only diners at the time but we had excellent service. The cashier was patient and made many suggestions for the menu and even offered to split items to create appetizers. I have loved Nancy’s Sky Garden for many years and am thrilled to see this location. I will be back!“

5 stars for how they handled the concern. 4 stars because it shouldn’t happened to begin with but mistakes happen.

On Saturday, 9/27, I picked up my order of 10 (Order #5047699). To my frustration, I discovered that the meals were sold with expiration dates far too close to the pickup date:

* 2 meals expired on 09/29
* 3 meals expired on 09/30
* 3 meals expired on 10/01
* 2 meals expired on 10/02

This means nearly half of my order will end up in the trash. It is unacceptable that Snap Kitchen sold meals only 2 days away from expiring.

I just contacted Snap Kitchen if they respond in timely manner, I will update the review accordingly.“

“I ordered the BBQ pizza, and my only question...why didn't I come sooner!! Another excellent foodie option in the Austin area. The BBq pizza I got was excellent. It was flavorful and perfectly made. But what set the experience off.. the staff!! For a quick bite establishment, they do really care about the customer. I think anything I ordered would have come out just a great. You will NOT be upset stopping here!“

He gave us an incredible tour of the facility, and he explained the history of the gym and the community. We’ll definitely be back for a kettlebell certification/group class. “Love me some snap kitchen! When I'm busy this is the best spot to grab a weeks worth of healthy meals so I don't have to cook. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, every single one of them, even though it's a new person every time I'm there lol. Losing a star only because sometimes I go in and there's not a lot of variety. For example, I can't do tomatoes, and last week I went in and I swear almost everything had a tomato based sauce on it. So the batches of food can feel a little too similar to the other dishes available at the time. Great if you like said thing, but if not, limiting.“

“Great falafel and edamame bowl, but strange that they did not know what plain ice tea was and kept trying to serve me sweet tea. 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, food was excellent, although falafel was a little tough, but the range of sauces they provided somehow made up for it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for their vegan/vegetarian fare! Price was lower than expected.“

“I ate Chicken Banh Mi sandwich. The chicken was tender, slightly charred along with spicy and sweet ingredients which taste super. Another best part of sandwich is the ciabatta bread which is crispy outside but so soft inside.
Also enjoyed Seoul Bowl which had blackened chicken along with my favourite broccoli, brown rice and quinoa. Another interesting part of the bowl is sweetly drop pepper which is sweet yet mild spicy. Worth eating again and again.
So I went again. This time I took blackened chicken mango bowl. I enjoyed eating this bowl taking small portion each of chicken, sweet potato, mango, rice, black bean etc. It tastes so delicious and the bbq sauce makes the entire combination exceptionally tasty. ❤❤“

“Decent vegan option downtown. The place felt weirdly sterile including the service, but the food was good and very filling. One bowl was a serving and a half for me. I might need to play around with a custom bowl to get something more delicious.“

“Shake Smart is a nice little on-campus location for healthy drinks -- which definitely makes sense when you realize it's right near exercise locations on the UT campus.A few friends and I ended up finding Shake Smart and taking a Lyft to it because we were looking for some good milkshakes & smoothies and Shake Smart is reviewed so well! Well... I'll say the drinks at Shake Smart are generally good, but you need to be calibrated for what they are -- their shelves are stocked with protein since most of the drinks are protein compatible. That in and of itself is fine, but even the shakes without protein aren't really normal shakes, so much as protein shakes with the protein removed (aka you still get that slightly odd aftertaste even without the protein).Overall the staff is nice and it's quick to get a shake or smoothie here -- just make sure you come in with the expectation that you want a protein-based beverage.“
