“Our family was looking for a good place to have lunch before heading to the cruise ship. Let me just say that we were not expecting such a great eating experience. The food at Coop’s is absolutely delicious. Fall off the bone ribs, super tender brisket, great side , and the best banana pudding I have ever tasted. The prices were very reasonable with large portions. Highly recommend you give this play a try.“

“We were in Galveston for the weekend and looked online to get some food reviews. All the reviews for Good Dough were amazing and we couldn’t wait to try the food. We were not disappointed. Loved everything we tried. We were there 2 days in a row. Two different workers helped us and both were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!“

“We hosted our wedding welcome party at Texas Tail and it was absolutely fantastic. From the beginning, they were so easy to work with—responsive, flexible, and genuinely invested in making our event special. Planning felt effortless thanks to their clear communication and helpful attitude.
When we arrived, everything had already been set up beautifully. It made such a difference to be able to walk in and simply enjoy the evening without worrying about any details.
The service was outstanding and the drinks were excellent! Our guests had a great time, and we heard so many compliments about the atmosphere and overall experience. We’re so grateful for how smoothly everything went and would absolutely recommend Texas Tail again and again.“

“Bartender Sarah was so great! My fiance and I were nervous about coming into a smaller bar as a lesbian couple & were worried we would be treated dismissively, but it was in fact the opposite! Sarah showed us around the back deck (which was so spacious btw) and made top notch drinks. We really enjoyed coming here and may make it our new close to home bar! Thank you for making our first time worth coming back!“

“This restaurant elevates the common Tex-mex nacho to a whole new level by the the freshness and flavor of the ingredients. The Carne Gisada is so deliciously satisfying and my only regret is the the portion was larger than what I could consume in one sitting. The tomatillo salsa is fantastic! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Galveston!“

Apps were awesome I suggested the almond crusted shrimp or the Thai lettuce wraps. The mains were superb! You won’t find better food in the area. Going back today to try their pizzas!“
