“Our family was looking for a good place to have lunch before heading to the cruise ship. Let me just say that we were not expecting such a great eating experience. The food at Coop’s is absolutely delicious. Fall off the bone ribs, super tender brisket, great side , and the best banana pudding I have ever tasted. The prices were very reasonable with large portions. Highly recommend you give this play a try.“

“We were in Galveston for the weekend and looked online to get some food reviews. All the reviews for Good Dough were amazing and we couldn’t wait to try the food. We were not disappointed. “First visit since we had to adopt a gluten free diet. I'd looked at the menu ahead of time and knew what the gluten sensitive options were and ordered confidently. Our waitress was amazing as soon as I said "gluten free." She confirmed that it's a necessity for us, made sure the chips and queso ordered for the table were prepped so they were safe for us, and even brought us a brand new ketchup bottle for our fries. Awesome experience and I can't wait to visit again.“

The Brisket Grilled Cheese is arguably my favorite sandwich in Galveston. Smoked brisket, barbecue sauce, and cheese toasted up perfectly golden brown and served with a side of fries? To be completely transparent I always have leftovers, but it isn’t for lack of trying. That sandwich is so delicious.
I’ve also heard amazing things about their brisket deviled eggs and Bloody Marys, but I have a singular mindset when it comes to their menu and will likely never stray from Galveston’s best sandwich. Also, the employees are some of the nicest humans you will ever meet. I always enjoy running into them, whether it’s here, at trade shows, or when they’re volunteering their time with the Galveston Chamber of Commerce.“

“The Pho Thai Vietnamese is genuinely delicious. As someone who knows Vietnamese cuisine well and has Vietnamese friends who cook at home, I can say their dishes taste very authentic and homemade. The flavors are rich, comforting, and exactly like home cooking. Highly recommend!“

“Bartender Sarah was so great! My fiance and I were nervous about coming into a smaller bar as a lesbian couple & were worried we would be treated dismissively, but it was in fact the opposite! Sarah showed us around the back deck (which was so spacious btw) and made top notch drinks. We really enjoyed coming here and may make it our new close to home bar! Thank you for making our first time worth coming back!“

“This restaurant elevates the common Tex-mex nacho to a whole new level by the the freshness and flavor of the ingredients. The Carne Gisada is so deliciously satisfying and my only regret is the the portion was larger than what I could consume in one sitting. The tomatillo salsa is fantastic! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Galveston!“

“The best food in the area! Really good menu. And everything we ate was top tier! The owner Ms.Dee is super friendly. Apps were awesome I suggested the almond crusted shrimp or the Thai lettuce wraps. The mains were superb! You won’t find better food in the area. Going back today to try their pizzas!“
