“My wife and I ate here tonight 12/29/2025. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were seated quickly. Our waitress was Lauren who was at our table after being seated. She provided excellent service and is very knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations for our meal. We both had the 10 ounce sirloin steaks that were grilled to perfection. Lauren checked on us routinely to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a great dinner !!!”

“First time ordering food . A local since 2005 it took us a long time but my husband finally took me there. Originally from Chicago we wanted a Reuben and so far no good ones here. Until Readfields it was delicious !! The marble rye , homemade thousand island crunchy sauerkraut I’m thinking homemade as well. Then the corn beef as good if not better then Chi town. Price was low as the sandwich was enough for 2 meals. We will keep Reidfields a weekly tradition, we still have to explore the amazing meats cheeses etc. the store has offer. Make this a place your entire family will enjoy 😊”

“We gathered at The Vintage House to celebrate my son receiving his Aggie Ring. Ashlyn took amazing care of us from start to finish. Our appetizers (fried Brie and polenta tots) were both served piping hot and delicious. Every entree we ordered was not only delicious but looked fabulous as well. We ended with desserts and they were the perfect conclusion to an outstanding meal. We cannot wait to return.”

I paid $4 for one breakfast mixed with two ingredients ,refried beans with chorizo and egg and boy was it stacked and full of sabor. I got full just off one and yes they do serve lunch and dinner either tacos or plates for either take out or dining in. The atmosphere here was great with no wait time either. It is wheelchair accessible with plenty of parking. handicap included.I recommend this little Jewel to all and also I chose the red salsa not too hot just perfect for my taco”

I can also honestly say after travelling extensively across the US, United Kingdom and Australia, The Stella has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I had the pork Ranchero & my girlfriend had the enchiladas Verdes & both were delicious! Both the chip salsas were great, & I really like the green salsa for the chips. The food was reasonably priced, & the staff was very friendly & attentive. We are definitely coming back! I can't wait to try their chili relleno!”

Kind and knowledgeable baristas and managers, sit-down coffee shop, inhouse roasting, and perfectly unique gift shop WTB has been a staple here in #bcstx for years, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn for the first time of the walk-in. sit-down, full-featured coffee shop. Also terrific merchandising: from practical, if not esoteric, Hario products like pour over filters to small plants and local, artisan crafts like a coffee bean bracelet and artwork for sale.”

“I recommended J Cody’s Steaks & BBQ for your catering events. I had tasted them at another event and put my request in for menu choices for our event. I already knew the steak was really good. However, I was not sure if they were affordable for a non-profit event. I was greatly surprised and had no questions about the menu selection. They worked with us on several things to smooth things out. And those things even fell through, you would not have known it did. Their staff was so gracious and stepped in and helped us out. Potato Wedge w/ a drink cost us $16.25 when I got to the car I realized how much we were charged so as my husband pumped gas I took the food back in and asked for a refund. I was refused a refund and was told to call back at 8am to talk to the manager. There were 3 other customers in the store who also agreed that it was way over priced, and so did an older lady who was also an employee. Calling to speak with a manager has been a joke.”

I’ve tried all the food in different occasions and it’s really good! The taco/burrito section varies with meats and other things everyday so there’s usually something new to try every day! That’s already amazing! The chicken is indeed… “krispy” n “crunchy!” it’s full of flavor and the right size! In my opinion it’s the goldilocks of chicken! “Flaming bird is my favorite so it’s very difficult for me to give a low score. I travel across Texas for work and often go out of the way to stop at a flaming bird. This location needs a serious review from management. The moral from staff is low. The work area is small (smallest location I’ve come across). Because of the small work area, the wait is forever.”

“Went for breakfast but go there a few minutes before breakfast ended so we ordered lunch. They were able to accommodate 12 of us on a Sunday. The food did not disappoint. All of the meats were marinated well and tender. We were able to easily split our bill at checkout and service was really great”

“Freddy’s Frozen Custard is hands-down one of the best spots I’ve been to in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive—they made the experience effortless and welcoming. The frozen custard was rich, creamy, and indulgent without being overwhelming, and every bite was pure satisfaction. Stopped by Double Dave’s Pizza and tried the pepperoni rolls — they were so delicious! Perfectly baked, full of flavor, and definitely worth the trip. I haven’t tried the pizza yet, but I’ll be doing a separate review on that once I do. If the pizza rolls are any indication, I’m sure it’ll be just as good!”

“Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, bilingual and patient. Their food is packed with flavor and they serve a good amount. And so far have the hottest salsa I've ever had. Their plain rice (without peas & carrots) is so moist, fluffy and tender. I could tell their refried beans were made from scratch and not from a can or prepacked. The red enchilada sauce was not runny. Good and clean atmosphere, and what was extra nice about the atmosphere is that the music was not loud. I'll be going back soon to taste their Menudo!”

“Casa Rod is my favorite Mexican food in Bryan/College Station! I don’t need the menu when I walk in — I always know that I’m going to want the iron mikes enchiladas. They’re delicious! Just today though, I learned that the iron mikes enchiladas are no longer included in the $8.99 enchilada Wednesdays. As a college student, I basically lived off that deal — oh well. I get that things are becoming more expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be back, it might just have to be (slightly) less often. I still highly recommend Casa Rod though!”

“Came here for breakfast to support local. But the experience was so, so. It was a limited breakfast menu and the items on breakfast were a lot to be left desired. For example I ordered the huevos rancheros and instead of potatoes and bacon included it was just 3 eggs rice and beans with your pick of tortillas.

The salsa was very delicious. Food was good. But overall was not impressed and will be trying another local Mexican restaurant. It was good to check the box here in my new town. But MEH

Also the juke box would randomly play random songs and it was very loud when we were trying to have a family AM morning breakfast together.”

“This local coffee shop was awesome! I’ve never been to downtown Bryan and my boyfriend recommended it so we went and I got my normal; a iced mocha. It was so different in a good local homemade non Starbucks way and loved it! Pricing was average but I’d pay that for this coffee opposer to any Starbucks! I like supporting the local community too so I’m the area for a good coffee at or below Starbucks pricing with a great atmosphere, you must visit here! I’ll be returning!”

“we always eat breakfast at cracker barrel in Bryan TX while we are on vacation every year. always great food and great service. this week sadly it sounds like they need to update the ordering system because our server had issues putting our order in and it took along time to get our food. thankfully this has never happened before and we will continue going to cracker barrel. we love looking in the store as well as our grandkids love it.”

“We come here almost every Sunday after church, either to dine in or pick up food to take home. The cashier is always warm, polite, and incredibly helpful — sometimes they even help us carry our order to the car. The servers are fast and efficient, and even during the busy lunch rush they always stay gracious and professional. Truly one of the best restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!”
