“First time ordering food . A local since 2005 it took us a long time but my husband finally took me there. Originally from Chicago we wanted a Reuben and so far no good ones here. Until Readfields it was delicious !! The marble rye , homemade thousand island crunchy sauerkraut I’m thinking homemade as well. Then the corn beef as good if not better then Chi town. Price was low as the sandwich was enough for 2 meals. We will keep Reidfields a weekly tradition, we still have to explore the amazing meats cheeses etc. the store has offer. Make this a place your entire family will enjoy 😊”

“I finally visited Kanji Sushi last night. We had business partners in from Denmark and I told them to consider it for dinner as they were staying near by. Well they agreed and asked us to join them and made me order everything because somehow I was knowledgeable even though I had never been…suffice to say, I don’t believe we could have ordered anything bad. Everything was phenomenal and they were VERY impressed. I will be back. Well done Chef Tai! Chef’s kiss”

The service is top-notch, and we were lucky enough to be taken care of by Drew again, who is always such a joy and adds so much warmth to the experience. Rami, the owner, greets us like family with the biggest hugs and makes sure everything is perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, but it’s the unbeatable combination of incredible food and heartfelt service that keeps us coming back. This place is a gem!”

“My son took me here yesterday for my first (not last) time. I got the chicken enchiladas with their yummy gravy sauce. It was so delicious. Rice and refried beans also delicious. I've never liked charros but my son got me to try his and they are so good! They also have coca cola from Mexico with real cane sugar. Much better than ours. I always go check out the bathrooms for cleanliness when I go out to eat - nice & clean there. Very pleased with this place.”

“Listen. If you are in BCS and don’t eat here. It’s a crime. Seriously the best fried chicken I have had in the 35 years since my Great Grandmother passed. One bite and time fell away and I was a kid at Gma’s house. There is a reason it’s called soul food.”

“I really appreciate having an accessible, walkable grocery store/deli. Please continue to keep Red Bull in stock. 🫶 Occasionally, I like to get fresh cut deli meat for sandwiches/ wraps at home. Other times, I like to drop in for a bagel or a bite to eat. Wait times are sometimes long but understandable for a fresh meal. They've expanded their seating, which makes it easier to grab a table with a friend/ coworker. Thank you for bringing a city feel to a small town.

Parking: Lunch can be difficult to find a spot, but if you're willing to walk a bit of distance, you're fine. Street parking is free.”

“I recommended J Cody’s Steaks & BBQ for your catering events. I had tasted them at another event and put my request in for menu choices for our event. I already knew the steak was really good. However, I was not sure if they were affordable for a non-profit event. I was greatly surprised and had no questions about the menu selection. They worked with us on several things to smooth things out. And those things even fell through, you would not have known it did. Their staff was so gracious and stepped in and helped us out. Also terrific merchandising: from practical, if not esoteric, Hario products like pour over filters to small plants and local, artisan crafts like a coffee bean bracelet and artwork for sale.”

I had returned due to unforeseen circumstances and never had been to a Dutch bros until that day. I had been there almost a month and went every single morning! Staff are friendly and fast. Very similar setup as Dutch Bros, but the drive thru is really small and tight fitting. Overall, this is more of a convenience thing, if we’re in this area, we’ll pickup from here, but if not, Dutch is conveniently near my house.”

“On this National Coffee Day, I thought it was time to finally review one of my favorite Dutch Bro's locations. I was never really that interested in coffee until I came across Dutch Bro's! Cheaper, quicker, and an overall better experience than most shops I've been to. They are always innovating and enhancing the coffee drinking experience in a variety of ways, including the new order ahead option!
What really sets them apart from other shops comes down to a few crucial components of coffee enjoyment. The quantity of beverage provided in all standard sizes is noticeably more than other major brands, all while still maintaining a superior quality of ingredients.
Additionally, the streamlined approach and atmosphere present in a predominantly automotive focused environment allows for a much more efficient experience overall.

When the plate arrived, it was obvious that I'll be having leftover pupusas tomorrow for lunch, darn it. 😀”

“I wanted to try a local steak place before I left College Station, so I picked Sodolaks, I ordered the sirloin with a baked potato, a side salad, and a sweet tea, everything was delicious the service was fast, I could’ve used more napkins, and I was a little afraid to ask for steak sauce but the steak was well seasoned so it didn’t need it, kinda wished the baked potato came with bacon, it came with sour cream, butter, and cheese”

“I ordered the Big Foot combo which was an oversized foot long hotdog with fries and drink. My wife ordered the hotdog and 5 wings combo. The food came out hot and fresh but we waited in the diner for 25 minutes for our order. They are very slow cooking and preparing the food. The restaurant is also in an area of Bryan that is run down and we were approached by homeless people in the parking lot. The drive thru was busy and that may be why our food took so long to make. Their soda fountain machine in the dining room had a very low co2 mixture and the drinks were very flat. They had no fizz.”

This location needs a serious review from management. The moral from staff is low. The work area is small (smallest location I’ve come across). Because of the small work area, the wait is forever.”

“we always eat breakfast at cracker barrel in Bryan TX while we are on vacation every year. always great food and great service. this week sadly it sounds like they need to update the ordering system because our server had issues putting our order in and it took along time to get our food. thankfully this has never happened before and we will continue going to cracker barrel. we love looking in the store as well as our grandkids love it.”

“Came here for breakfast to support local. But the experience was so, so. It was a limited breakfast menu and the items on breakfast were a lot to be left desired. For example I ordered the huevos rancheros and instead of potatoes and bacon included it was just 3 eggs rice and beans with your pick of tortillas.

The salsa was very delicious. Food was good. But overall was not impressed and will be trying another local Mexican restaurant. It was good to check the box here in my new town. But MEH

Also the juke box would randomly play random songs and it was very loud when we were trying to have a family AM morning breakfast together.”

“I visited this Subway location today and ordered 2 subs, a 6 inch veggie delite and a footlong turkey sub. My turkey sub was made alright, a little too salty, but no big deal. However, my 6 inch sub for my fiancee was made incorrectly, which was extremely disappointing, especially considering the staff member had repeated the order back to me, which just confirms that he knows what he did wrong. The six inch was also strangely much smaller than usual.
As somebody who tips after their meal, don't expect me to leave a tip for poor service and an incorrect meal.
I also noticed a very anti-homeless sign on the door, which is extremely distasteful and heartless.
Aside from this, though, this Subway location is located in the heart of downtown Bryan. The interior is beautiful with an open design.”

“Casa Rod is my favorite Mexican food in Bryan/College Station! I don’t need the menu when I walk in — I always know that I’m going to want the iron mikes enchiladas. They’re delicious! Just today though, I learned that the iron mikes enchiladas are no longer included in the $8.99 enchilada Wednesdays. As a college student, I basically lived off that deal — oh well. I get that things are becoming more expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be back, it might just have to be (slightly) less often. I still highly recommend Casa Rod though!”

“This local coffee shop was awesome! I’ve never been to downtown Bryan and my boyfriend recommended it so we went and I got my normal; a iced mocha. It was so different in a good local homemade non Starbucks way and loved it! Pricing was average but I’d pay that for this coffee opposer to any Starbucks! I like supporting the local community too so I’m the area for a good coffee at or below Starbucks pricing with a great atmosphere, you must visit here! I’ll be returning!”
