“For the last 3 years I have come here when I visit SA to see my son. Last night I brought him there with me (3yr old) to have dinner. We did a video chat with his mom and he started to have a meltdown before food came. Food came and he wouldn't calm down so I asked for to go boxes. When they were brought by the attendant (not my waiter) she said somebody had covered my tab!!!! I could barely contain myself overwhelmed by someone's generosity!! “This location is our go to for a late night dinner. We had a server named John tonight and let me say he is amazing!! Very attentive and so personalable. He seemed very comfortable with his guests and we really appreciate him for taking care of us. Last week our server was Jaylen and she was fabulous! Super attentive as well and just amazing. Manager Mitch came over and spoke with us he was so professional and kind I’m glad he took the time to speak with us. “I ordered the reuben, my father had the Savannah salad and a cup of potato soup. My father remarked that he liked the soup and he would have it again but he thought it tasted better at Subway. He specifically requested that salad and the dressing because he said it was very tasty. The Reuben was stuffed with corned beef. I enjoyed it. The service was great. The store was fairly clean but it could have been cleaner, especially where the servers were working. I haven't been to McAlister's in a long time. I will definitely be returning to get another type of sandwich.“

“I've been going to Chester's for 30 years and have always had fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. I always get a bacon cheeseburger extra mayo, extra mustard, and all the veggies. The food is cooked to order, fresh hot, veggies are fresh and crisp, and the poppy seed buns are lightly grilled, purely perfect. And the onion rings are crispy and hot. They also have perfect iced tea. I think I'll go again this week.

Parking: The staff is always super friendly and efficient. Freshly cooked food, quality ingredients, and big screen TVs make this a fun place to go. Very family friendly.

“Great local bar to come to for excellent food, live music on the outdoor stage, and nice people and employees. Rarely turns into a complete madhouse where you can't get seated, but karaoke nights and any love music nights and it does get crowded as it is a well known and loved bar. Very old and rustic looking. Authentic is a great word for it.

There's a parking lot in the front and another down the right side driveway leading to the right of the stage. Neither is very large but I can't say I've ever gotten there and had nowhere to park on the grounds.

There's far more room outside to sit than inside but some of the outside area is covered, so I've been there in driving rain and not gotten wet. Staff is attentive no matter where you sit.

Parking: As mentioned there is an upper parking lot in front of the building and a lower parking lot down the right side driveway to the right of the outdoor stage.

Kid-friendliness: I've seen many families being their kids here, especially during the day but at night too when live music is playing

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm fairly sure there's a ramp on one end of the front porch entrance or the other.“

“I came to Pluckers because I was really craving some wings. Plus, I had just come from a Spurs game and was able to score five free wings thanks to their sponsorship—definitely a win!

It was a Monday night, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. I arrived around 8:30 PM and was immediately seated. I had my heart set on a Mega-Rita, but unfortunately, the frozen drink machines were already down. Disappointing, but the rest of the drink menu was still available.

Since it was Monday, their special was All-You-Can-Eat Wings for $33. I decided to go all in and ordered lemon pepper and honey BBQ bone-in wings with a small order of waffle fries. The wings did not disappoint—they were great in size and packed with flavor. The waffle fries were just okay, nothing too special.

To finish off my meal, I couldn’t resist dessert after seeing the sign that said, “Pluck your diet, order dessert.” That got a chuckle out of me, so I went with the brownie, which my server highly recommended. While it was a good size, the flavor was underwhelming—honestly, the Chick-fil-A brownie is better and cheaper.

Overall, I had a good experience. The service was great, the wings were solid, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m craving wings. Hopefully, next time the drink machine will be up and running, so I can finally get that Mega-Rita!“
