“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday with 20 guests. Everything was wonderful, the food, staff and ambience was fantastic. Everyone praised their food choices and the salted caramel chocolate cake was to die for. I highly recommend Kindling Kitchen for any celebration.“

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

“After a 13 hour day at work, I stopped in here for dinner on my way home. My daughter was with me as we had just finished helping out at a school fundraiser (I work at a local school). We were exhausted. I have to say, David went above and beyond! He was polite, friendly, and took care of us right away. I eat here often since I work nearby, but his whole demand care with our order was fantastic! We took out food to go, and everything was packed well and our order was correct and the food was great! We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. “If you ever go to chester's hamburgers area restaurant to eat and enjoy your self as you do.. they have a lot of stuff on the wall from old age to new age.. pretty much lot of a collection of course.. they have flat hd tv's to watch sport's onto for free.. and plus some time's school kids well come here as well to enjoy them self's amongst others and yes they know that they are being watched by everyone“

“Walked in and sat at the bar. Bar tender attended me right away. I decided to try their 14 oz steak with Okra’, sweet potatoes, and bread! Man, that steak came out nice and hot! It tasted just the way I like it! No evidence was left on my plate of its existence! The sides and bread were the right touch to satisfy my evening hungry!

They are hands down two of the best servers I’ve ever had — friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what they do. “Saturday night, dinner time. Went with wife & kids. There were several other kids in the patio area. Crowd was largely parents in the 30 to mid-40 age range. Two dudes were at the inside bar wearing navy flight suits. ... I doubt they were actual navy (hair, unshaved, and really). Thought about playing the Righteous Brothers for them. Their 10y/o kid was also sporting a flight suit and playing with a volleyball. Maybe a costume contest, but still kind of annoying. Not the restaurant's fault.

We sat outside. The high temp for the day was 93, but the area was very comfortable thanks to some large trees in adjacent properties that shaded the area. My youngest played on the playset. My oldest opted to challenge a couple other kids to jenga. Cornhole, steel darts, and dancing are also available. A band was getting ready when we left.

We were hungry. So didn't wait for the server and just went to the bar. Food was fast, fairly priced, & portions were large. Fried mushrooms were bland, but my chili was good.

-- Ding on service is due to a few minor hiccups/delays. We got a brand new waitress that was still learning, and they may need to buy an additional frier. Minor.

I’ve known Carsen for a while now, and every time I see him and Annie at the ticket bar, I know it’s going to be a smooth and positive experience. They both bring such good energy — professional, friendly, and always on point. Whether it’s a hectic night or a chill one, Carsen and Annie handle it with ease and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Leave Definitely two of the best — the ticket bar wouldn’t be the same without them!“

“As a Veteran Hooter Girl from VA and an avid traveler, I have high expectations for the Hooter restaurants we (my husband & kids) visit across the US. Without sounding too cliche’ the Selma, TX Hooters was by far one of THE BEST experiences we have ever had. Shea, was very pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. Shea also jumped at the opportunity to sing a special “Happy Hooters Birthday” to our son, Preston, turning 9! Our pictures and videos will be treasured! The food was perfectly prepared, timely, and delivered by staff that jumped at the opportunity to help out! The restaurant was very clean and tasteful. If this was a “shoppers critique” this location would pass with very high marks! My only recommendation to management would be to stock the shopping area with some t-shirts from the “Old Guys Rule” themes, they are awesome!! We also need options to collect something small from each specific location like magnets, stickers, or poker chips. We loved you guys and hope to visit when we return to San Antonio! Thank you!“

“I came to Pluckers because I was really craving some wings. Plus, I had just come from a Spurs game and was able to score five free wings thanks to their sponsorship—definitely a win!

It was a Monday night, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. I arrived around 8:30 PM and was immediately seated. I had my heart set on a Mega-Rita, but unfortunately, the frozen drink machines were already down. Disappointing, but the rest of the drink menu was still available.

Since it was Monday, their special was All-You-Can-Eat Wings for $33. I decided to go all in and ordered lemon pepper and honey BBQ bone-in wings with a small order of waffle fries. The wings did not disappoint—they were great in size and packed with flavor. The waffle fries were just okay, nothing too special.

To finish off my meal, I couldn’t resist dessert after seeing the sign that said, “Pluck your diet, order dessert.” That got a chuckle out of me, so I went with the brownie, which my server highly recommended. While it was a good size, the flavor was underwhelming—honestly, the Chick-fil-A brownie is better and cheaper.

Overall, I had a good experience. The service was great, the wings were solid, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m craving wings. Hopefully, next time the drink machine will be up and running, so I can finally get that Mega-Rita!“
