“We just had a Christmas party on Monday & everything went so smoothly. The staff was amazing & so was the food & drinks. The venue is beautiful also. We had 54 guests & they were all happy with their meals. We will do again next year! Highly recommend.“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

“My husband is working here in Texas and we came by 2/17/26 for supper and it was amazing. The steak was great, the brisket was way better than our bbq place back home and the ribs were great. The BBQ sauce was to die for. I had ordered the sausage but then was told it was sold out which was okay because we came around 9pm. We tried all the things that diners drive in and dives tried. Let’s just say if my husband comes back to this part of Texas we will be back ohhh and let’s not forget the armadillo eggs those things was amazing my husband have talked about how good they were all night and day. “What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! “Had my Moms 70th birthday lunch here this past Sunday, and reserved the private room at the recommendation of a server. Room fee was reasonable and had a great view. Our server was Michaela; she was attentive, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. She served our group well of 8 adults 5 kids; helped us cut and serve an outside cake that we brought, offered to take a pic for us, and provided prompt and attentive service. Food was delish too, and the GM even stopped in a few times to make sure things were going well. Thank you, Marais, for knocking it out of the park, we will be back.“

The only issue was we asked for half white bread and half rolls and only got bread. But that was the only misstep. Everything else was excellent. Everyone was more than pleased. I ordered the Gulf red snapper along with the fried alligator and kept it simple with a couple of bottled waters. The snapper was fresh and cooked just right flavorful, tender, and definitely the standout of the meal. The fried alligator was a fun addition too, crispy on the outside and nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out in a reasonable time. It felt like a place that cares about both the food and the customer experience. The spicy tonkotsu ramen was flavorful, the pork was so tender and the crispy brussel sprouts were amazing! Our server Cal was top notch!
