“I routinely go here with 3 or more teacher friends for breakfast on Fridays at 6:30 a.m. The coffee is always hot and fresh as are the breakfast plates. The pork chop plate that comes with two homemade corn or flour tortillas, 2 eggs, and refried beans is magnificent as are the eggs rancheros plate, eggs divorciados plate, steak and eggs plate, and the other breakfast plates and assorted ample breakfast tacos. The service is great. The plates are a beautiful sight for the eyes to behold. I will post pictures next time. We always enjoy ourselves immensely. You must try it.“

“It was busy because it was Father's Day and there was no Wi-fi in the building or parking lot. I wanted to place a to-go order and it took a tad bit long amd the young lady at the window said when we were ready to let someone know she walked off and we never saw her again. I was ready to leave and not return.So we asked for assistance and Juran S. was right there and took care of our order and took my number down in case we weren't in the building to get the order she would call. She was very nice and attentive I appreciate her for that. It's great workers like her that makes you want to return.“

“1ST TIME I ATE THERE WITH MY FELLOW BROTHERS WE MET UP FOR A BIRTHDAY. LET ME TELL YOU THEY DID NOT DISSAPOINT...I HAD BUFALO LEMON PEPPER WINGS/ FISH /HUSH PUPPIES/RED BEANS AND RICE. OMG THAT WAS ALL GOOD WENT HOME TO TAKE A NAP..ALSO HAD A PIECE OF FISH STILLTHAT I TOOK HOME. MY WIFE SAW THE FISH AND ASKED WHERE WAS HER'S . I IMMEDIATELY ORDER HER THE CLASSSIC AND GOT ME A FISH PO BOY . SO IN ONE DAY I ATE IT TWICE. MY WIFE AGREED THAT THIS WAS THE BEST SEAFOOD SHE HAS HAD IN A WHILE SINCE THEN WE ATE THERE 2 MORE TIMES, AND TODAY FEBRUARY 11TH I AM LOOKING TO DROP BY AGAIN IT REALLY IS THAT GOOD WELL SEASONED AND FRESH.“

“The first time I went to The New Wu's restaurant, the front lady was very rude. It took a while for me to go back but I've gone back a couple of times since then. Tonight I went and picked up a pint of beef lo mein and a dinner special portion of the general Tio with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I am so happy that I did because this is the best it has ever been. The cashier lady was the exact same lady as the first time but she was very nice today. The food has a wonderful flavor and the portion sizes are superb! The lid was holding in for dear life just to stay closed! You will love it!“

“The Barn Door is an Alamo Heights staple! Everyone that works there is extremely attentive and polite! They are the PROS when it comes to superb service and DELICIOUS steaks! They have an excellent bar selection and are known as a TOP restaurant for large get-togethers or FAMILY celebrations! Each dining room has a theme that speaks to VETERANS, ‘09er’s, and SAN ANTONIANS alike! I would say, that’s it’s just like winning the TRIPLE CROWN when it comes to Service, Food, & Atmosphere! I personally recommend the Chicken Fried Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato & Cheesecake for desert! P.S. the “Fool Proof” daiquiri will allow you to relax after a hard day at work!!“

“This place is amazing for food, drinks, and karaoke! I came here to celebrate my friends birthday and I don't have a single thing to complain about. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be bringing more family and friends here. (Ryan was our server for the whole night and he was fantastic, would recommend asking for him when you come in).“

“My favorite dish is shrimp egg Foo young in magic china cooks it better than anybody else. My second favorite favorite dish there is the sesame chicken but I like mine with pineapple. Price is $9.95, But if the price quote over the phone was given correctly and now it becomes a $16 dish which I find ludicrous. I wonder if Jackie the owner knows about this.“

“This location has been around for decades but has been newly remodeled. The new exterior looks great. I place my order in the app and when I got to the drive-thru received my order very quickly. When I got home I found the food to be fresh and hot. Everything tasted great except for the new fries that they now serve. They are these tasteless waffle fries and nothing like their original fries. I hope they bring them back soon.“

“We had an early dinner this afternoon. The food was fabulous. We had the shrimp and catfish. The food was exceptionally fresh, the batter they use is wonderful and the coleslaw is about the best I’ve eaten in my 74 years. The food was hot and served quickly and the waitstaff is phenomenal. The place is clean and everyone was so gracious. Highly recommend!!“
