“It was our very first time here. The staff was very helpful on explaining everything to us. They did serve very decent portions per person. I tried some appetizers and salad and sushi roll and hibachi steak. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Me and my family definitely loved the experience it was great from the time we walked in to seating to service. We will definitely go back for sure.“

“The sushi is always the freshest, whether talking about the salmon, tuna, wrappers, fruit, avocados, whatever the ingredients are it is the freshest! The staff are amazing, whether hostess, wait staff, Sushi chefs, even the bus crew everyone is friendly and professional. Patrick is eager to tell you about the food as much as he is about how he and the rest of the chefs have all been friends for years. This is the type of place that you keep going back because it is always amazing!“

Beef was tender and seasoned well.

California rolls were satisfying and hit the spot.

Gyoza had fresh fried flavor & the texture of the dumpling was perfect. Satisfying.

Egg roll was good.

Service was great.

On previous experiences their sushi was also freshly made and really good. Wished I ordered it this time.

Only minor complaint is that their Wasabi is a bit weak. I prefer stronger Wasabi that burns ?

Other than that, this is one of my top places to go when I decide to eat out.“

The food was absolutely amazing however, we didn't try many of the rolls due to lack of pictures of them & uncertainty about if we'd like them based off just a list of ingredients. Additionally, we found it strange to have the waitstaff lined up against the sushi bar just staring at us as we ate. It was kinda unnerving. The hibachi was some of the best I'd ever had. Definitely a fair price for the quality of food.“

Some of the carrots in the soup were tasty and tender and others were hard as raw ones. The sweet potato tempura were half tender and half hard(the middle). The service was good though.“

The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. When I was young, and I only had a bike, I worked in a warehouse about 2 miles from here. Even in the Texas summer I was happy to make the ride here at least twice a week for lunch. I still try to stop here if I am ever anywhere nearby at lunch.

Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too!
