Imagine if you stripped out all the exhausting parts of Main Event and Chuck E Cheese and their many clones and just paid an easy flat fee to play the games (its a paradise of arcade games goong back decades) you want to play with no coins or cards or trash toys. Then, you add a quality pizza menu, bottomless soda, and a packed rack of draft Bishop Ciders. That's Cidercade. It's easy going fun for all ages until 8pm. Then it's grown-up time. If you want to bowl, aim yourself out the front door, look at your phone, and map your bad self to a dang bowling alley.“
“This is a hidden gem of an upscale dive bar and restaurant. We say at the bar where Currin and Sarah were on point! Super friendly, and they never let out beers get empt even though the place was packed. This is also a family owned local business, which we love to support. We had the adult Mac and cheese and the chips and queso, both were really good. We'll definitely be back to try more of the food and listen to some karaoke.“

“We've been to Doc B's many times and the food and service have always been impeccable. It's a special place. It's expensive but the quality makes the splurge worth it. We went again on 4/23 and the service was mediocre at best. We had been seated for 30 minutes and still didn't have as much as a water. We eventually asked someone if our waiter was still alive. Br***ly our waiter really phoned it in, at least there were other support staff to bring food, full water glasses etc. It's still a wonderful place, hopefully yesterday was an anomaly.“

“Showed up for the live music, will be back due to the southern hospitality. I had an amazing time here. Everyone was very friendly from the time I walked in. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and two drinks while at the bar in back. The bartender I met there goes down as a all time favorite. He was friendly, lively and kept my drinks behind the bar when I went to the bathroom. Then Kim took my picture with the artist I came to see and invited me back for lunch sometime. Small hometown bar feel with the nicest people. I can't wait to visit again.“

“Yelp reviews prompted us to try Sam's and we weren't disappointed! Staff and servers were very nice and helpful. All of our food was hot and served in a timely manner. Perfect place to grab some beers and dinner. The appetizer trio was a great deal. All of the food was tasty and overall affordable. “I like this place because it's low key and u don't run into a lot of people that u know and everybody don't know ur business. Everyone is always very polite and they have good pizza and corn dogs when u need a late night munch. They also have pool tables and one dart board and some nights they have karaoke the bar tenders are all really great and make sure ur always well taken care of they could have some beer specials to help out the pocket book but other than that the place is great to get away and relax just for a bit and socialize with ur friends or meet a few new people I've never had any issues with someone being rude or disrespectful. “It's tucked behind a building in a parking lot by a Bingo Hall with a confusing set of double doors of which only one door works that may not be evident without a strong commitment to opening it against its will. The tables seemed nice, but I really liked the nice blue ones that weren't the same old puke green. It was pretty empty cause of COVID, but the bar staff were friendly and there was plenty of room to be comfortable at the bar and playing pool. I'll update if I see it busy at some point, but this was my first visit.“

“It's the place to be , fun , great atmosphere and bar service is at it best ... the only reason I 4 starred food is coz it's a small kinda cart serving hot dogs and nachos with they are great but not a real kitchen food if you get my point .... wish they open all week days but believe it or not it's worthy to wait for Thursdays and weekends for this place ... if you don't go there you're missing a whole part of great experience.“
“Can't believe I've driven past this place for over 40 years and never stopped in...granted half my life I wasn't old enough to enter The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The Bartender told us the history of the place. It is definitely a "Cheers" type place with well known regulars but in no way was it Clicky or felt unwanted by any of the other patrons. The prices were great for name brand booze...still a place where smoking is allowed, but wasn't bad at all. As a non smoker that was a surprise but I didn't smell like smoke when I left ..so that's a bonus. We will definitely be back soon“

It appears the owner has put a bit of money and time in the place to make it welcoming without having to over-charge for beers.
