“I had the El Patron platter and the oysters, and they were absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The micheladas were also some of the best I’ve had. Great food, great drinks, and a great experience overall — definitely coming back!“

“We have lived in The Woodlands area for 10 years (original South Louisiana natives) and have been on a search for a great authentic fried shrimp poboy…. We have found it at Crawfish Cafe!!! Made with popcorn shrimp and Leidenheimer bread - IYKYK. Closest thing (and the best) to what we grew up with. Service was great too - thanks Cris for an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back! Looking for authentic fried shrimp poboy - check out Crawfish Cafe in Shenandoah TX“

“Whooooo!…Just stopped thinking they sold fresh seafood, but no …it’s a restaurant and I very much enjoyed the food and the people even though I don’t speak any Spanish. I ordered something another customer was having. No one speaks English but I still very much enjoyed their good food!My curiosity paid off very well!“

“Recently had my husband’s 40th birthday party here using their private room area and it was great! Nelson was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The servers worked hard to stay on top of everyone’s tabs and the fajita buffet was perfect! No one left hungry and the birthday boy was extremely happy with everything!“

“We have many Mexican eateries in the Conroe area but we love Gringos! Excited they put one near us in Conroe. We've ate inside many times since this location opened. Every time excellent food and service , we have no complaints! Food may take a little longer than others in the area but for the quality, we absolutely will wait.“

“I am extremely picky when it comes to Chinese buffets as many do not compare to my favorite local buffet that’s been around for 40+ years. We decided to stop here after my grandma’s doctor appointment and I was not expecting it to be that good. I was so wrong! The food was so good and fresh! The chicken dishes were fried until crispy and then tossed in the sauce, a step in which a lot of buffets skip leading to soggy chicken. There was a great variety of foods to choose from. The shrimp cocktail on the cold table was cleaned perfectly, tasted fresh and were large! The service was great. The building is a little dated, but the ambiance was cozy and the restaurant looked very clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend this buffet!! I will definitely come to this place anytime I’m in town!“
