“Go here. If you go anywhere to eat in DFW area, let it be this place. The first true farm to table restaurant that puts its heart and soul into everything they make. We were blown away by every cocktail and dish we had, but the star of the show was the Tea Braised Pig Tails (pictured below). As a farmer and a butcher, I have no idea where they source these magical, massive pig tails, but they are 100% the best tasting thing I've put in my mouth in Dallas since we came. In all my (16 total) years in bars and restaurants, I've never been more impressed by a single bartender. This guy is lacto fermenting, dehydrating, infusing, & manipulating different ingredients in incredible ways that deserve as much credit as the kitchen. Honestly, the combination of a passionate chef and a passionate bartender make this place hands down the best spot in DFW. I wish more places were ethically sourcing ingredients and using more of the animals they serve, as this place has so perfectly achieved. If they were closer, I'd probably be trying to do business with them in some manner.“

“Truly, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I went to Stillwells for my 31st birthday with my boyfriend. From the beginning, they made sure to make me feel special, writing a writing a custom card, giving us a dessert to take him, and even giving me a blanket because I was a bit cold in the restaurant! We both ordered filet mignon, and they were cooked perfectly. The side dishes and deviled eggs as an appetizer were just as good. Servers, and the manager frequently stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend for any special occasion or upscale dining experience.“

“I had the omakase. and was disappointed with the fact there was a heavily fried dish of shrimp and corn that came out mid point of the experience. The sashimi was pretty good but, not too much thought was put into it. Other than the two kind of misteps my overall experience was amazing! the staff was helpful and the flavors were fun! I highly recommend the sesame mousse for dessert and the sea bass melted in your mouth and the soba noodles with the various dipping sauces were to die for ♡“

However the eclectic clientele, and funky beats keep the Vibes fresh daily. “The drinks are on point and they’ll make it right if you don’t like it (don’t get crazy with that). The staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel at home. The restaurant side is a work in progress, and that’s not a criticism - they just do too much, too well and don’t want to become the Cheesecake Factory. 10/10 if google would give me more stars.“

“Had my brother and SNL in town. I'm trying to understand how this place even exists. The hotel is Old and smells like sewage inside and out. Started out @ the Waterproof. Completely overrated nothing special about this place besides its overpriced drinks. However my reason for this post is for Bourbon & Banter. We ordered the Smoked bourbon Meatballs. When it was placed on the table. I immediately smelled dog food. I tasted a bite of the meatball and the texture of it was not right at all. At this point I'm really wondering is this dog food. Waiter came over and I said "no disrespect, but this taste and smells like Dog food. He said I don't make the meatballs, but I will take it off your ticket. I thought that was odd, because I didn't ask him nothing like that. I'm concerned about this treatment and will be contacting the proper people so this doesn't happen again. Especially when I spend my hard earned dollars just to come out wondering what I just ate.“

“My friends and I love Rattlesnake. They always have great drinks and it’s a convenient spot, but what really has kept us coming back for years are the consistently great people. Emma is an exceptional server who handles large parties beautifully. Ryan is an exceptional bartender; we are always excited to be there when he’s behind the bar. The bar manager Daniel is attentive, friendly, and helpful. What’s unique about Rattlesnake is that it’s great for a casual drink while also being a perfect option for larger groups and events - highly recommend you consider them!“

“I came in on a Saturday and bought general admission just to grab a quick bite pool side. When I walked in I saw reserved seating (that cost money) and I saw FREE day beds that were first come first served. I noticed people were leaving their belongings on the free day beds as place holders, while they got in the pool. So I asked wait staff was this allowed, and 2 of the girls collectively said “no they shouldn’t be doing that”

So I walked back in and sat at the free day beds, filled with stuff, and a white man approached me and said this is my bed but it’s okay I’ll let you stay here. I chuckled and said yeah the wait staff already told me I’m good. And startled by my response he said no I’ve been here all morning , and I said yes at a FREE day bed. You can’t just leave your stuff here as a placeholder and expect to have it reserved all day. Reserved seating cost money and you didn’t spend any money. And then he threatened to have me kicked out. Lol, it amazes me how they think they have this much power especially when they haven’t spent any money. Eventually a waitress came over took my order and I gave her my credit card and she completely ignored this disgruntled man because she wanted to make some money!“

“My partner & I are in town for the holidays from Salt Lake City & were told about Time Out Tavern. Everything that was mentioned by the Uber driver was on point. The atmosphere was chill AF, there's a male bartender with braids who gave exceptional customer service not to mention the door guy was down to earth with a lot of knowledge & that bearded. WOOF! With that said there was a female bartender who could use A LOT of coaching conversations by management as her rudeness was never asked for & customer service lacked. I still give this bar five stars & will recommend it to others.“

“What a great find! My fiance and I were visiting the Dallas area this weekend and stumbled across The Tango room and decided to try it out. We are so glad that we did! This one as some of the absolute best food, BEST service, and such a chill atmosphere. Nolan, the bartender, was our server and he was outstanding. So much knowledge about the food and drinks. I HIGHLY recommend this place. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.“

“The friendliest and most helpful staff (and people) that I encountered in this airport. They greeted me by thanking me - so sweet. The server asked if I had any time constraints, which was 20 minutes. I was able to eat and get back to my gate in time. Super efficient!

Location is in the newer end of the terminal, near the (also new) restrooms which are few and far between. Worth the walk down here!“

“The food here is always top notch! The salsa has good flavor while not being too hot. The chips are light and crisp. The tortillas are on point. The grilled onions and peppers are at the perfect level of doneness. The bean soup I add avacado to. It’s amazing. The verde sauce and sour cream sauce on the enchiladas are so good I get both. And the acoustic panels on the ceiling are essential in a brick and concrete space that is as busy as Ebar always is. Makes for a pleasant environment. 🤌“

“I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this place since going there since 2018 or 2019. I’ve always been a fan of this bar.

I’ve moved to multiple residing cities since I’ve been back in Texas and I always find my way back to this bar. I live in Oklahoma now. But I’m close to the Texas border and I made my way to Dallas just so I can eat here again.

Their drinks are delicious. But their food has always been phenomenal to say the least.

Their fish and chips is to die for.

I remember when they had bacon mayo and it was sooooooo good. Unfortunately it was discontinued some years ago.

But I still manage to come by this place every now and then. Definitely one of my favorite Dallas spots.“
