“I was very skeptical of ordering gelato from Cavier, especially with it being located 8 miles (17 minutes) away, but me and my husband were needing something sweet and I went ahead and placed an order for 2 small gelatos. This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!“

I am going to advocate for the 'Natural' flavors, all of which are tasty, but the Coconut is my secret favorite. Kids and adults alike will love this place. Also lots of tasty Mexican type treats like corn or chamoyada.“

I couldn’t finish my banana split due to the size and amount they load it up. And I’ve gone to different ice cream shops and they are shiesty with the ice creams and their pricing is high. “Such a treat! We’re the type of people that if we’re getting a sweet treat, it’s going to be a goooood one. Everything here looked so good. If I was rich rich I’d be ordering everything lol. Came here on date night; we just so happened to beat a dessert rush for a Friday evening because it was empty when we walked in and by the time we sat down to eat, the line was out the door! The gelato was decadent, smooth and oh so creamy. We also got a caramel and strawberry chocolates. All the gelato we tasted was to die for but I think our favorite was the Persian Flower gelato.

The area is very much alive and poppin’ on a Friday night. Tons of restaurants, bars and live music. It was our first time in the Bishop Arts district and ended up being our favorite area during our staycation, so much so, we went everyday to try a new place. During the mornings, it’s completely the opposite. It’s quiet and subtle, but there’s a handful of coffee shops, bakeries and eateries for breakfast and brunch. A great area for a morning stroll! There is a paid parking lot but we mostly drove around until we found free street parking. It was much easier to find parking in the daytime.“

“My second visit to this location on 11/3/22 was for the grand opening where they served free ice cream and the first 50 people in line got a swag bag that included the splendid tote, an insulated tumbler and stickers. The staff was super friendly & helpful as usual. They make the best I’ve ever had in waffle cones and the Darkest Chocolate ice cream. My next favorites are Brambleberry & Mint Chocolate Chip. New flavors show up frequently and we can taste any flavor before we decide to order. I bought the adorable silver lined teal traveler tote that is great for ice cream or a lunch/snack bag and even as a purse with its cool vintage look. So glad we have a Jeni’s in the neighborhood!“
