“I was very skeptical of ordering gelato from Cavier, especially with it being located 8 miles (17 minutes) away, but me and my husband were needing something sweet and I went ahead and placed an order for 2 small gelatos. This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!“

“This is the type of place I would recommend to all of my people in and out of town to visit when they're in the mood for a cold sweet treat! Sno is SO GOOD and I've only been once!! What stood out was the decor, the staff outfits, the natural flavors, and the man behind the counter who was so nice and informative in helping my boyfriend and I make a decision (bc dessert choices are hard to make when there's so many interesting options). We got to sample the shaved ice and I ended up getting the Green Thai Tea with cream and ice cream. My bf doesn't like ice cream and opted for a fruit cup before deciding to get the strawberry sundae (added mangoes which was an amazing choice). If he ever eats ice cream, it's only from one specific spot in the Dallas area but this tops it! The snow is good on its own but adding ice cream takes it to a whole new level, so creamy and smooth. Truly a gem we're so happy to have found.“

“This Ice Cream shop never fails when it comes to their ice cream cones and banana splits! The scoops are so huge and so worth it! I couldn’t finish my banana split due to the size and amount they load it up. And I’ve gone to different ice cream shops and they are shiesty with the ice creams and their pricing is high. But here the amount and price is worth it!“

“Such a treat! We’re the type of people that if we’re getting a sweet treat, it’s going to be a goooood one. Everything here looked so good. If I was rich rich I’d be ordering everything lol. Came here on date night; we just so happened to beat a dessert rush for a Friday evening because it was empty when we walked in and by the time we sat down to eat, the line was out the door! The gelato was decadent, smooth and oh so creamy. We also got a caramel and strawberry chocolates. All the gelato we tasted was to die for but I think our favorite was the Persian Flower gelato.

The area is very much alive and poppin’ on a Friday night. Tons of restaurants, bars and live music. It was our first time in the Bishop Arts district and ended up being our favorite area during our staycation, so much so, we went everyday to try a new place. During the mornings, it’s completely the opposite. It’s quiet and subtle, but there’s a handful of coffee shops, bakeries and eateries for breakfast and brunch. A great area for a morning stroll! There is a paid parking lot but we mostly drove around until we found free street parking. It was much easier to find parking in the daytime.“

The staff was super friendly & helpful as usual. They make the best I’ve ever had in waffle cones and the Darkest Chocolate ice cream. My next favorites are Brambleberry & Mint Chocolate Chip. New flavors show up frequently and we can taste any flavor before we decide to order. I bought the adorable silver lined teal traveler tote that is great for ice cream or a lunch/snack bag and even as a purse with its cool vintage look. So glad we have a Jeni’s in the neighborhood!“

Our father died within the week, our mother was sent home to recover. When Bryce heard what had happened he called and said he wanted to bring a sweet treat to our mother while she was recovering. I was so touched knowing how busy he must be as the owner of two Yogurtland locations. He took the time to drive over and deliver not just one little treat but a whole bag of several types of frozen yogurts and toppings.
