The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“My mom and I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday around noon and, to our surprise, were seated right away. We decided to split the gumbo and a Connecticut-style lobster roll.

Now, as a native New Orleanian, I’m very picky about gumbo. I almost didn’t order it because I know how high my standards are (Chef Paul Prudhomme’s method taught me how to make a proper dark roux by hand, and I still swear by it). But their gumbo? Exceptional. Spicy, layered with flavor, and honestly one of the best I’ve had outside of New Orleans. I not only finished my cup but polished off my mom’s too.

The lobster roll was a little on the small side, but paired with the gumbo it was the perfect lunch. We even saved room for a celebratory lemon cake—compliments of the house—for my mom’s birthday. A sweet ending to an unexpectedly great meal.“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

“Glad we made a reservation since there was a wait when we left. Had the swordfish chalkboard special..it was amazing! I don't eat swordfish because it's dry but our waiter, Kevin, promised we would not be disappointed and we weren't! Kevin is the best waiter in all of Dallas...always takes care of us. My husband had a bowl of gumbo which is always consistently good. We had the Mermaid Oyster for appetizer at happy hour..delicious! You won't be disappointed!“

“yesterday I came with my family to eat here. we just moved across the street. the whole lake highland area has a lot of great spots, but I do believe that Fish City Grill will be our favorite, the drinks were so great. some of the best drinks I’ve had in a very long time. The food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was amazing, I think there was a kids event going on because it was lots of children everywhere but we had fun seeing them have fun. But one person TOPPED EVERYTHING, our waiter Nievells, his entire personality was everything, I wish I could’ve put him in my purse and took him home. we have adopted him as our new son. He was fast, kind, super funny, and just made us not want to leave, we came in around 5 and didn’t leave until 7:30 because he just was so loving. He took Better care of me than my own husband. (I hope he never sees this review ?) but he said he was new and but it seem like he’s been working there for years. “Jack & Harry’s is a gem. Fabulous service from Margaret, providing excellent descriptions of items on the menu, recommendations were spot on. On a girls day we stopped here for happy hour amazing crafted martins for $10, tried the blue and gold with blue cheese olives, this brought me to life, also tried their bees knees martini delicious. I came specifically for gumbo and both their sausage and chicken, and shrimp lump crab gumbo are delightful. Oysters here fresh and presented in the most beautiful way. If you’ve been wanting to dine here this your sign, make the trip. Friendliest atmosphere with an incredible staff.“
