“I was visiting a friend who lived in the area, but I had to kill time while I waited for him, so I was driving around the area looking around. I noticed this big red building in the distance and just randomly decided to check it out, and to my surprise, it was a coffee shop! I didn’t walk in at that time, but fast forward a few months and I was in the area again so I decided to find this place and actually try it out. Fast forward again a year later to present day, and this is one of my favorite hidden gems I’m very glad I happened to stumble upon! Being that I live an hour south of Houston, I don’t get to visit too often, but the times I’ve gone, it’s always a pleasant experience. Great coffee, great service, cozy atmosphere.“

“I was on my way to Wimberley and decided to stop here to work for a couple of hours and boy am I glad I did.

First off the servers were super friendly and efficient and I met a Japanese server which was fun because I speak Japanese, so we conversed for a little bit. I had the artichoke and spinach salad, which was highly tasty.

The the atmosphere was quiet enough to work, which was pleasant. The seats were comfortable, and I would make a half an hour trip from Austin just to go there another time.“

“This is seriously the nicest group of young people I’ve ever seen at a coffee place. My wife ordered to the wrong one and they fixed it for her with smiles in their faces and didn’t make her pay again. I’ve been here before and they are just so nice. Always asking how my day is and you can feel the joy they have. I assume this comes down from the owner because employees who are treated well are always better at their jobs. I hope every single person on this staff knows they are making peoples lives better every day even in a job they might not think means a lot. Keep it up team.“

And I tried to pay in cash.It's not listed anywhere that you guys don't accept cash payments.And that's a little stressful. If you choose not to participate in the cash world, it would be really nice.If you posted it somewhere, maybe at your ordering board?And if it's there, I missed it.And I apologize, but I do not believe I saw that anywhere. The barista looked at me like I was crazy because I wanted to pay with cash. She was nice, but clearly taken-a-back when I tried to hand her cash for my coffee. This is unacceptable. Ordered a cold brew with a foam top. Got half a cup of coffee and half a cup of cold foam. Ridiculous. Not going even to drink it because it's half a cup of pure sugar cold foam. I just wanted a little foam top like normal with my coffee. It's hardly even coffee at this point.“

“I’m leaving 5 star to combat the negative reviews. Yes the seating area needs a deep clean because it’s an ice cream and donut shop; both of which are made of sticky things that will be constantly spilled. And it’s serviced by high school kids.

But the ice cream is good, reliable Baskin Robbins. They have a ton of flavors. It’s in the neighborhood and doesn’t cost $12 per serving.“
