McDonald's in El Paso

“I just wanted to take a moment to leave a positive review because I feel like it’s important to recognize good service.

Today I stopped by McDonald’s to pick up some ice cream, and I was helped by a young lady named Diana (if I got her name wrong, I apologize!). She was so kind, patient, and helpful. My order was ready so quickly after ordering through the kiosk, and I truly appreciated how fast and friendly she was.

I also want to recognize her manager, I believe her name was Olldie?? ( again sorry I’m bad with names ) , and the rest of the team working today. Everyone was doing a great job. Unfortunately, I witnessed a customer speaking very harshly to the employees, and I just want them to know that one person’s frustration does not define the amazing work they’re doing. Please don’t let that moment ruin your day. You all were doing wonderful.

I hope Diana and the team get to see this review because they deserve to know that their kindness and hard work are noticed. I’m also a mom, and my kids love coming here for the playground. Every time we visit, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the employees are always doing their best.

“Meh, standard McDonalds.

The ketchup packets are sticky, like one opened and they never notice or took the time to clean it up.

The staff will actively ignore you, grab your food and go... if you have any questions expect a wait or ask it right away.

They will sell you a medium even if you order a small combo...

But its Mc Donalds... what do you expect?“

“Everything was made to perfection. I had breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal here early on my way to work. Both West side restaurants are doing really well. I wonder how they're really doing inside? Doesn't hurt to ask. How are you Mc Dee's? How's your coffee? 😋“

“Honestly never had a McDonald’s experience like this one. We ordered to dine in, our food came out fast (while a rush) and when the food was delivered our cups were already filled. I mean I never minded filling them up but it was nice! The service was amazing too they asked for refills and took care of ice when it was out. It felt more like a restaurant.“

“This store on Yarborough and North Loop is very nice. Staff are great, they treat old folks like people not " get out of here". We enjoy a couple of cups of coffee and just chill out. There's a great play area for little ones. There's even a door that closes when spirits get too high. We love it here!“

“Would give a 4.5, the staff is good but i still dont like how they depend on the machines for ordering. Although, the food was fresh and the store was well maintained.

“10/10 amazing drive thru experience. And I mean, spoke clearly, understood perfectly my order. But! The FOOD! 100/10, and it was a simple order. Double cheeseburger, plain, only cheese, large hi-c, large fries. And LET ME TELL YOU! fries: crispy... burger: deliciously perfect with the cheese melted like heaven. And the drink perfect of course, would recommend. Honestly I'd come by again, and again and again. :)“

“Got my 2 person order super quick for what it was, with the food brought fresh and hot. The lady dropping it off was also very kind and continued to make sure we didn't need anything else. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in an el paso mcdonalds even though there was some other guy in the place mean-mugging me and my friend“

“Convenient fast food spot for a quick and familiar meal. The menu has plenty of classic options, service is usually fast, and it works well for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a quick stop on the road. Prices are reasonable, the location is practical, and it’s a simple choice when you want something easy and consistent.“

“By far the best McDonald’s on the far east, as soon as I pull up my order is ready, rarely do I have to wait unlike the montwood & Edgemere locations where no matter how big or small my order is they have me park in a numbered spot only to wait another 10 minutes for my order.“

Parking: Plenty of parking, you can also park at Wal-Mart which is across from it.

Parking: Shares the same parking lot as Walmart.

“This is easily the best McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. I know it’s new, but the staff is so nice and even though they rushed the service is very good. I’ve come during busy hour and never lasted more than 3 to 4 minutes in their drive-through. I’ve never left a review at a fast food location either but I really hope this location stays the way it is.“

“I see there is alot of bad reviews, this is based on my experience. First time at this location. My food was hot and fresh. My kids, kids meal was also hot and fresh. The kids play area is not to big, ideal for kids 5 and under. When passing by the I assume manager on shift (black shirt) checking in as well to ask if the food was good. Which it was. Would come here again if in the area“

“I mean, Its McDonalds so the food is pretty unilaterally the same. But, this location was clean, friendly and had a short wait time when I went. There are far worse locations. The food was hot, well put together and good (Ive had a "big breakfast" as well as the quarter pounder meal here) so no complaints. If I crave McDonald's, I'll definitely go here again.“

“Service was phenomenal. Food was warm and accounted for. My only -1 in atmosphere would be, if management needs to talk to an employee, do it away from customer view, as I saw a manager talk to her employee. If you guys need coverage on weekends I can send my resume.“

“I can't remember the last time I've been to a McDonald's and the staff actually cared. First of all the bathrooms were clean, lobby is spotless they even have a playplace for my kids. The food was great, hot and fresh and the best part is the entire staff was friendly and inviting and took care of everything. Food came out fast. Just the best after driving 7 hours“

“I loved that when I ordered fries they a little bag with ketchup and napkins, Its rare to find a McDonald's where I have to ask for ketchup every single time or go back if I forgot to ask. The fries were freshly made and they were fast. Im considering stopping by more often.“

“It's a decent place to get food to go but the in-store experience left me wanting to take my food to-go. The service was extremely slow, the food was old, as if it had been sitting under the heat-lamp for a long time, even the fries were cold.Additionally, the place wasn't very clean and the bathroom was worse.I'm not sure if it was just a bad day or if this is the norm for this place but, I haven't been back since my last visit.“

“I had ask for 2 , 5 dollor meals which include a mac chicken small fries and 4 piece chicken nuggets. I did not get my chicken nuggets for either both meals mind you they were not busy great service just disappointed in not receiving what I payed for“

“I would like to recognize the outstanding service I received from Melody. From the moment she helped me, she was kind, patient, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience and did everything she could to assist me.
What impressed me the most was that, even after her manager scolded her while she was helping me, Melody never changed her attitude. She remained friendly, respectful, and genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service. That level of professionalism and dedication is rare and deserves to be recognized.

“Don't remember the girls name at the register but she was very friendly and patient. She sang part of a song with the kids made us all laugh and others in the restaurant also joked with her because she was a happy spirit. The area seems dark and gloomy like a rest area but the vibes from the girl made things cheery.“

“Excellent place and service. Very clean facilities and fast service despite the number of customers. Very fresh foods and adequate temperatures. A group of older adults were in the facilities and they were treated very courteously. Very attentive employees“

“It is a good spot, even though the area is mostly busy, the food has constantly good, no complaints on the quality, one thing I do want to note is that a couple of times we order something on the app, like in my case a couple of apple pies and once you get to the window they do not have them available, last time I went my wife, she ordered a strawberry shake and it was not available either, they should keep track what items are available. Other than that it is a good place to graba quick bite.“

“Was greeted in spanish at the drive through. I thought for a minute I was across the the border. Then paying at window. The employee gives me total in spanish. I responded with a n EXCUSE ME. She had to call her Co worker to help her cause she does not understand English. I live in the USA ??. WE are in the USA ??“

“This McDonald's was a good spot to hit the drive thru! The staff was quick and efficient and friendly. I went for breakfast and got actually the tastiest item I've ever tasted from McDonald's! It's a steak bagel. It had a steak patty, cheese, egg and grilled onions on a toasted bagel. Very delicious!!! 5 out of 5 stars!“

“My grandson and I were coming out of the parking lot, and we saw a Lady holding a baby boy and two little girls seating on a wagon. She was holding a sign, but I never read what was written. I just got my wallet out, and we handed her some money. She said something about food, but my grandson said it would be hard for her to get something. So he drove to the other side of Joe Battle and went to McDonalds. We got lunch for all four of them, and waters too. Feels good, no matter how BIG or small the hegift is. 🥰🥰🥰🥰“

“I visited this location earlier this week and the manager Gabriela was a saint! They were very busy when I showed up (BTS weekend, Friday at like 9pm) and Gabriela was running that shift like a boss, handling customer issues at the register and the drive thru window simultaneously. She was super polite while also being very prompt. When I couldn't decide what I wanted, she helped me choose and my meal was delicious :-) Thank you, Gabriela!!! This location really needs to give her a raise or something, she deserves it!“

“Clean and tidy place, the service was not so fast because a lot of people arrived.
It has little parking space and does have spaces assigned for disabled people.
The bathrooms are clean and functional.

Parking: There are few places to park because it shares space with another business and is located at a gas station.“

“Despite the amazing service and delicious food, this particular McDonald's is not without its shortcomings. The ambiance is enhanced by great music, creating a positive atmosphere for many people. Unfortunately, the condition of the dining area severely detracts from the overall experience. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial for ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all customers, but that is not being done here.“

“We drove into the parking and saw a clean cut young man checking something on the building. I was at the kiosk ordering and the same young man was having a conversation on speaker. His friend cussed up a storm but there were no kids in the area. After ordering I walked into the play area and couldn't find a clean table. My wife asked for a rag to wipe off or table. The clean cut young man jumped up and had the sweetest lady wipe off our table. She then cleaned the rest of the tables off. I watched minutes later as a line formed at the counter, same young man jumped up off his laptop and helped with the line. I'm assuming he's at least a manager. I was left very impressed with his performance and leadership. I would have given 5 stars but the dining area could have been cleaner. Finally, they served us the best McDonald's fries I've ever had! Don't tell anyone, they're already very busy.“

“If you are hitting up this McDonald’s, you’ve accidentally stumbled into the most efficient weekend afternoon blueprint in El Paso. As soon as you grab your fries, you can literally coast right into Big Bens Drive Thru right next door in the exact same plaza complex (8500 Dyer St).

It is ridiculously easy—zero traffic, zero turning back out onto Dyer, and you don't even have to unbuckle your seatbelt. You just grab your cheat-meal fuel, roll 20 seconds over to Big Bens for a cold 12-pack, and you're fully prepped for the weekend.

Fastest burger-to-beer transition in the city. 10/10 layout, will definitely be making this my regular double-stop!“

“Nice McDonald's with a really well maintained playground. The service is good and my kids really enjoy coming to this place for lunch. The only thing we don't like is the air conditioning in the playground area, it's FREEZING!“

“Exactly what I expected which is hard to do with so many McDonalds. Great service and everything where you expect it to be. No surprises is sometimes a good thing.

Parking: Not a big fan of the ordering kiosk but a server was right there to take my order for me.“

“Erick is an excellent employee. I have not been to 1 sigle McDonald's in the country and seen such a courteous employee. He walks around asking if everything's is okay with the food and offers help, brings missing items, and that makes your dining experience the best! Yes, at fast food place! I am a teacher at the nearby high school and I am totally impressed.“
