“Very slow service. You were out of Josh wine and had discontinued Kendall Jackson. Took a very long time to take our order and even longer to get the bill. The food was great. Maybe you were short handed, but the whole experience seemed different.“

“We drive an hour to eat and we’re told it would be a 45 minute wait and then when that time came they would be closing and turned away. There were 8 at least empty tables. We come there a lot and disappointed. We even told hostess we drove an hr.“

She went absolutely above and beyond even though my husband was being extremely picky and the kids were were being loud. She made our experience memorable and I really hope to have her again when we visit. I will definitely be requesting her!“

“Had lunch at City Post Chophouse today with cousin from Dallas. We were greeted and seated prompltly, as has been the case everytime I've visited CP. We had the Chicken plate and Lobster Roll, both were delicious. My cousin even commented on how good the chicken was during the meal LOL. Service was great, water glass was filled repeatedly and consistently, a bit of a litmos test for me. Waitress was friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. “I recommend it only for to go. Dining in is weird. My Google review: It used to be a regular restaurant where staff would come take your order and deliver your food to your table on plate. Now you order your food at the counter and they bring your food to you in a plastic to go container. You have to pick up your own PLASTIC forks and napkins, and take them back to the table. The boxes they have chosen to put them in are incredibly difficult to open. The food is still really good but we will not be dining in the restaurant anymore. We might still get something to go but not near as often as we had been dining on site. Sad.“

“Why did I wait so long to come here - this place is incredible!!! The food, the drinks, the service and the vibe, Sweetwater is a neighborhood's gem! We came on a Friday in time for their happy hour $1 gulf oysters, $3 coastal/east coast oysters specials. They even offer caviar toppings on oysters as well. We opted for the $1 oysters (5/5 yummy). It was so fresh and sweet. Their condiments for oysters came with mignonette, horseradish, red cocktail sauce, fresh lemon and your own personal bottles of hot sauce. The oysters were perfect size. Got ourselves some ice cold draft beers which paired so well with oysters snd the rest of our meal. We opted for a few other items on their happy menu including oyster Mac & cheese (4.5/5) , fried calamari (3.5/5) and Fish & Chips (5/5). All were excellent! We especially loved the oyster Mac & cheese. Very creamy and the whole boiled oysters are mixed into the cream and mac. Fresh, decadent and sweet! We were pleasantly surprised by the Fish & chips. Good size fish fillets that's flaky and juicy thick. The batter was well seasoned and wow, the fries were thin and crispy. Must try dish. Fried calamari fell short compared to the other dishes we ordered. It was decent yet overly battered and fried. I do like the added fried jalapeños toppings. They even surprised my son with one of their dessert options. Tonight was key lime pie and it was one of the best key lime pies I've had. I love how they presented and decorated the dessert, with a candle for his birthday celebration. Service was impeccable and the team is truly genuine. We even learnt that the manager makes all their seasonal desserts himself. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.“
