“Everyone knows their cakes are incredible! We are huge fans of the red velvet and chocolate chocolate chip which pair beautifully with their cream cheese frosting and are always so moist and wonderful. However, the customer service is what really sets this location apart. I was greeted warmly by smiling faces who were eager to help and watched several customers get in and out super quick while I was there. I had a special request and the owners were happy to try to make it happen and the results were better than I could have hoped. My teenage son was surprised and delighted and that memory will be a highlight forever. Thank you for making that happen!“

“My friend sent me some cookies from The Cookie Crave to me in Atlanta to cheer me up and they did just that. They arrived very fresh and super soft. I received 4 different flavors - Sweet Potato Pie, Peach Cobbler, Banana Pudding and Strawberry Margarita. OMG they were freaking AMAZING!!! “My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“

“Sidewalk Cafe is our favorite place to eat in Denton county. We have not had one thing to complain about, the food, service, and the cleanliness. Sam is great in the kitchen but SUSIE Is the sweetest friendliest owner we have ever met! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The best pancakes ever! Always have to get a to go box.“

“Me and my husband get the Curry chicken fried rice every time, we mostly do takeout but today we went to eat at around 1pm. Got greeted immediately with friendly service! Drinks came out fast and our food came out very fast as well. No complaints! If you get the curry chicken fried rice get the chicken grilled! You wont regret it!“

“I go here so much I got a loyalty card now. I used to go through the drive thru and order but now I usually order more than 1 meal when I go now. All the food is good! I am working through the menu along with my niece and nephew. Nutty mixed up salad, chicken chili, muffalata, Texas bake potato with brisket, chicken pot pie with pastry crust, strawberry cheese cake, pumpkin cake, meatball sub, chicken sub, green tea, club sandwich, Mac& cheese, potato salad (my nephew),etc. My niece said she did not know about Jason’s deli until I got food there. “We went for ice cream on a Friday night around 9:45 PM. The line for ice cream was literally out to the front door. The kids working behind the counter did an amazing job. They worked very hard. I commented to my husband that they definitely needed a raise. I was impressed. The prices are still very affordable there so it made a great little treat!“

“Got taken here by my sister and didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The noodles were genuinely delicious. We ordered jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), spicy seafood noodles (pretty spicy, so only if you can handle heat), Korean fried pork, and beef noodles (not spicy and very easy to enjoy). Portions are quite generous in my opinion, if you go with a group, it’s perfect for trying a variety of dishes. Will come back!“
