“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“The restaurant was recently closed for a few days due to an air conditioning issue, but they are fully open again and the AC is working great! Management is even offering complimentary soju and soft drinks to make up for the downtime. We were really glad to see them back open and running smoothly—definitely appreciate the extra gesture!“

“My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! “This place serves authentic Korean cold noodles, and even the dining system feels like Korea. You pay first, there’s no tipping, you pick up your own food, and return your tray when you’re finished.
I’ve tried cold noodles at several Korean restaurants throughout the DFW area, and this is by far the best one I’ve found. I noticed they use a real cold noodle press machine in the kitchen, which makes the noodles fresh and gives them an excellent texture.
The Korean dumplings(만두)were huge, and the portion sizes were very generous overall. If you’re looking for authentic Korean cold noodles(냉면) in DFW, I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“This is easily one of the most authentic Korean spots in the Carrollton area. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a genuine neighborhood deli in Korea, this is it.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the **intestine soup**. It is hands down the best I’ve had—the broth is incredibly deep and flavorful, and the ingredients are prepared perfectly. It’s the kind of hearty, comforting dish that’s hard to find executed this well.
Beyond the main dishes, their **banchan (side dishes)** selection is impressive. Not only is everything fresh and delicious, but the portions are **huge**. They really don't skimp on the variety or the amount, which makes the whole meal feel like a feast.

“I really enjoyed my meal and experience at Doma Seolleongtang. It felt like being in Korea when I walked in. To make it more authentic, we received a special kind of cold tea to open the palate before the meal and washed down the meal afterward. The music on was not Kpop but a mellow mix of Korean songs which helped me to savor my delicious bowl of beef rib soup. My soup came with glass noodles and enoki mushrooms. It was a lot of food for the price. We also received little dishes of kimchi, a bowl of white rice each, and a condiment each to dip the meat. The waitress was so thoughtful to bring my daughter a condiment without spicy stuff. Most everyone at my table loved their food and ate quietly. Only my daughter complained about her soup being under seasoned but that is why they have salt and pepper on the table, so she adjusted the two to her taste and ate the rest of the time in peace. I appreciate the warm, friendly, and attentive service. I appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant and its bathrooms. Most of all, I really appreciate the warm, hearty, delicious meal. “I tried the Toribowl Combo, and upgraded to include the Spicy Chai milk tea for my drink. Initially, it seemed a bit pricey for the bowl, but it is A LOT of food. Definitely enough for 2 meals for me. Very happy I upgraded to the chai, and I'm happy it actually had some spice to it. So many places serve chai that is just bland, and that isn't what chai even is. :) I'm curious to try another of their many drinks. Back to the food, besides the amount, it was tasty as well. Lots of good flavor! I went with the aloha bbq seasoning. The slaw was great too.“

“Jang Choong Dong specializes in jokbal and bossam. A side of sundae goes perfect with those.

Jokbal and sundae makes a delicious and somewhat healthy lunch. A few people walked in, looked at the menu, and walked out. I don't know what they wanted but they're missing out.

This isn't the place for bulgogi and bim bim bap. It's a lot more. Give them a try. You'll be coming back for more.“

“Beef Bulgogi,” was especially delicious. It was made fresh and sizzling. They give you generous portions with extras, including “Kimchi.”

At the end we thanked the lady that helped us order and she had a genuine smile and reciprocated our gratitude.
