“Great as always...but I have to specifically mention how awesome Nicolas was. Of course, every server we've had has been awesome, but Nicolas set himself on a higher level by his outgoing personality and professionalism. But it was athletic basketball abilities that really wowed the crowd. Yes, I said athletic abilities...So one of the many many kids that were "electronically entertained" (I'm not exaggerating...EVERY kid in that place had a phone or tablet captivating their robotic attention)...one of those kids wasn't paying attention and knocked over a syrup bottle. Nicolas caught that out of the corner of his eye, lept over to that table and snatched it just before hitting the ground and making a massive mess. He did this amazing rolling recovery off the floor, popped up and calmly placed it back on the table like nothing even happened!!!! Funny thing was, all of us that were there, saw it and were amazed..extept for one person...you guess who it was? Yep, the kid memorized by his electronic babysitter!! So sad. I digress. If you are looking for GREAT service, and possibly to see more of his athletic skills, ask for Nicolas...you won't be disappointed!!!“
“Red Oak Cafe is really great place to have breakfast. The portions are big and the food is good. The biscuits and pancakes are my favorite. My sister and I were able to share a plate and still get very full. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast.“

“The atmosphere is great! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance. The food was okay. I would have liked my fish to be cooked a little better, and the shrimp was a little rubbery. The service was also okay, we did wait 25 minutes for two sub-par desserts that I would never eat again...Otherwise, it was fun! My friend said the bloody Marys were great, and the husband enjoyed his fish..“
“This place has absolutely delicious burgers. However, fries and drink do not come with the burger, they are a separate charge. When the burgers are already $10 by themselves, it is a bit expensive. But on the plus side, they have a station where you can put whatever veggies and condiments you want on your burger yourself, so you don't have to worry about them messing up your order. You order, then they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. We like going here because there are always seats available even when it is super busy, and you can pick wherever you want to sit. For families it is great, because they have larger seating tables available and high chairs. If you have room after eating those massive burgers, their shakes are great as well.“

“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! We all got breakfast and enjoyed the 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrown casserole, and French toast. I especially liked the French toast. It was perfectly cooked and fluffy. I would come back here again!“

Clean and nice atmosphere inside and the owner and his wife were so funny and great customer service! “This restaurant always has a light and cheerful atmosphere. Affordable food and drinks. We usually get the Jessica's plate to split. It's enough food and reasonably priced. We also enjoy a couple of peach margaritas WITH EXTRA PEACH. We typically dine for under $30. I have also had the shredded chicken taco salad and several of the shrimp plates. I do not know if smoking is allowed here. I have never seen anyone smoking nor have I smelled smoke other than the sizzling fajitas of course. I am allergic to smoke. Another reason we continue to frequent this establishment. We dine here at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. This place is a regular stop. Look for me. I will probably be there.“

“Some really good food, the problem is you have to wait a long while to get it. Prices are really good. $55 for a young family of 5. We were the only ones there pretty much and waited 30 minutes for the food. The staff is very nice it's just that usually it's only one young lady serving and hostess. Kids love it as well.If they would try to cut the time down on wait and maybe hire more people I can see this place being packed out the door.“

“Got delivery and it was a lot of food so leftovers heated up the next day. Unfortunately my roommate bit into a piece of catfish on his seafood platter and there was a hair in the breading. I really love the food at Fish Place but this is quite the turnoff and I doubt if we ever order from this location again.“
“Ate here last week for lunch and a few other times before and my bacon avocado cheeseburger was delicious and super juicy. Onion rings were super hot and fresh. I dont come here enough. Probably a good thing so i dont burn myself out and the food always tastes perfect. My food is always hot and never cold. Just wish they had fountain drinks but i understand its more of a alcohol establishment. The waitresses have always been super nice to me and check on me every 5 minutes. Never been on a extreme busy day but im sure they are short staffed, but these ladies always seem to work hard and never stand around on their phones n such always on the move so give them a break if they rush a little bit .“
