“My family and I went to eat Sunday night and we hadn’t scheduled a reservation. We get there and they were able to accommodate a table of 15 with no issues. The servers were so great And explained everything in detail and even separated checks by numbers (which a lot of restaurants don’t do). They had great music, my fave Frida in every corner of the restaurant, great decor the chandeliers looked awesome, it was so clean and smelled so good upon entering. They gave us complimentary appetizers and desserts which were awesome like the queso. I really wished I would have taken pictures of everything but even the most picky family members loved it and said they will def be back. The prices were super reasonable definitely not as expensive as other restaurants. My husband and I shared a parrillada for 2 beef and omg the homemade tortillas de maíz were amazing! It came with a good amount of beef, onion and bell peppers all fresh. We both had our own beans, rice, sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I had a mangonada and it was delightful and the miches were great! Everyone was helping us with great spirit and over all made us feel welcomed! “This food truck is IT! Our food was seasoned to perfection, it was still hot when we received it and service was provided in a reasonable time. I will definitely ask our apartment community to invite them back so I can try more menu items. My son and I ate so fast, we didn't even get a chance to take a pic. That's just how good it was.“

“Found this while searching for a food delivery that offered Vietnamese coffee and I am so glad I did! Orders are always spot on, delivery is fast. No fuss and that chicken Banh Mi sandwich is incredible. I might have finished it in less than 30 seconds. The coffee is nice and strong and gets me through the work day. The chocolate chip cookie though? Gtfo with that. Really?? That might have been the BEST chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had!!! No joke! Warm, soft, perfection. THIS PLACE IS A GEM.“

“HOLY SMOKES!! This place far exceeded any expectations I had. I’m in from out of town and visited The Waffle Bus with some friends. My ONLY complaint is that there was quite a line but once I tasted the food I understood, SO worth it! While I was here I tried the waffle chicken sandwich, the waffle fries, mac and cheese, fruity pebbles cereal shake, and their banana crème pie waffle. I was impressed by every single thing. The chicken was so crispy and whatever sauce they put on that sandwich was magical. The environment was really cool with the neon signs everywhere. If you ever find yourself in Houston you’ve got to make this stop a priority.“

A combination of cold ice cream (I got mines chocolate because that is the kind I prefer) and a big churro! It was a lot of it but I don’t mind ! I give this place 5/5. “We came here for breakfast. The cashier and food server were very friendly and polite. The busser was also very nice. The food was delicious. However, as we were finishing up I wanted to refill my coffee right as the restaurant experienced a big rush. There was only one coffee urn for the “bottomless cup” and it was being refilled. I waited several minutes for it to fill as a coffee line formed behind me. In college I worked in the service industry and know how to put the spout back into a coffee urn so I asked a busser if I could. He said he’d go get the manager to help. I didn’t want to wait even longer and the restaurant was packed, so I put it back together myself. I should have just waited, I know. As I did that the manager came out and I nicely and politely told her that I’d already put it back together. I guess she didn’t listen or didn’t hear me because she told me to sharply to give her a second and she’d give us more coffee. I told her, again nicely and politely, that it’s already full. She turned around and literally gave me a look like she wanted to kill me. The lady next to us was surprised too. Through gritted teeth she said, “Like I said, let me get my bearings and we will get you more coffee” in a seething voice. I was a little shaken. She was so incredibly rude. I understand that I should have just waited, but there should have been several coffee urns available and we’d already waited. I’ve been busy and flustered before and I worked in the service industry in college. Even when busy and annoyed, I never spoke to a customer rudely, much less with pure vitriol in my voice and expression. I can’t imagine how she treats the employees. All the other employees were nice and the food was good so that’s why they get four stars. If it weren’t for that run in with the manager over poorly stocked bottomless coffee on a Saturday morning then I would have given five.“
