Spoke with Ivan over the phone at this location, who was able to correct this issue and make it right. I do appreciate him going out of his way to fix this. I will be returning as I enjoy the food.

App experience is still bad though.

My wife placed an online order on the 16th of February. I arrived to pick up the food and was told they didn't have 90% of the items we ordered, available.

When I asked if they could cancel the order, I was told no and that I'd have to go through the app.

My wife and I followed the proper procedures and submitted a ticket. Popeyes then decided that the issue was resolved.

We have NOT been given our points back nor have we been refunded any $ that was spent on this order.

Whenever we try to contact customer service, it directs us to the app, which isn't helpful.

1 star review since I've attempted to contact this store directly to see if they can assist in anyway. No one ever bothers to answer the phone.

My wife and I will likely not be returning to any Popeyes location in the future or at least won't be placing any online orders, since they've gotten our money but failed to provide any of the products we paid for.“

Got some of the best employees you're gonna find in the DFW area. “I stopped in just because I was craving Fried Chicken and Seafood at the same time. Although the outside can be sort of in the hood if you would (came with a work truck with a long trailer and I had to park far away a couple cars were circling and pretty sure they were up to nefarious things but that is besides the point.) I asked for recommendations from the lady and she strictly told me everything is good and cooked fresh so she recommended the entire menu I ended up going with the fried rice and a combo that came with fried chicken, fried shrimp, and fried fish. It was AMAZING!!!!! The flavor was something I haven't had in forever, most places are good but they don't keep you craving and hoping you go back weeks at a time. This was also the first time that I actually found a cocktail sauce that I did not find to be overpowered by horseradish and it was a complete game changer for me. Only bummer it's about 2 hours from where I live but if I get the opportunity I am most definitely stopping by again.“

I ordered a catfish filet, 3 chicken tenders, coleslaw and fried okra.

The catfish was cooked perfectly. Just not quality catfish. Reminds me of Southeast Asia catfish.

Chicken tenders are almost great. They seem to be brined, leaving the protein very moist. It's a texture problem for me.

Coleslaw was really good and I highly recommend it.

Fried okra needed a few more minutes in the oil. Just not quite crispy enough for me.

I will be back to explore some of the other items on the menu.“

“I love this chicken. If there is a Gus's in a city I visit, I will go there. It has a little kick to it that I love. Batter is a thin crispy style that I don't find often. Fried pickles are a favorite and I never pass on greens. I have been to 5 or6 Gus's and found the chicken to be the same awesome product.“
