“Got my lunch today from this location since its near my job and let me tell you. This location is always on it even when they've got lines for days in the drive thru. Got some of the best employees you're gonna find in the DFW area. Really wanna highlight Sebastian at the window, highly professional guy and always takes extra steps to make sure the experience is a satisfactory one! “Quick stop for dinner, picked up the 24 piece dark special with 3 sides and a 2 liter of soda. The chicken did not disappoint. The coating was light and crispy, not greasy. The meat was flavored to the bone, hot and fresh. One of the Big reason I love Lisa's chicken, the size of the pieces are still large, the flavor delicious, and the service is excellent. If you want a change from the other places, give Lisa's on Cooper Street a try.“

I ordered a catfish filet, 3 chicken tenders, coleslaw and fried okra.

The catfish was cooked perfectly. Just not quality catfish. Reminds me of Southeast Asia catfish.

Chicken tenders are almost great. They seem to be brined, leaving the protein very moist. It's a texture problem for me.

Coleslaw was really good and I highly recommend it.

Fried okra needed a few more minutes in the oil. Just not quite crispy enough for me.

I will be back to explore some of the other items on the menu.“

The flavor and and crisp level were spot on. This almost tasted homemade. All other fried chicken chains taste good but this just had a better flavor in my opinion. “I love this chicken. If there is a Gus's in a city I visit, I will go there. It has a little kick to it that I love. Batter is a thin crispy style that I don't find often. Fried pickles are a favorite and I never pass on greens. I have been to 5 or6 Gus's and found the chicken to be the same awesome product.“
