“Omg my son’s boss told him about Kelley’s and we had never ate there. We had just got off our 9-day cruise & wanted some serious comfort food. Kelley’s definitely fit the bill. Homemade hand-battered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes/gravy, fried okra, salad & fresh rolls! All servings were HUGE and delicious 😋 all for $16. I ate off of my lunch 3 times! We will def be back. Amanda was our server & she was on top of everything & great service. We were only disappointed that they were out of the Texas size homemade biscuits from the breakfast run. If you’ve never ate there before u gotta try it and u will be back.“

“Jumbo Hamburger is always so good and the fries are like homemade fries. So big! The outside sign says 2 Jumbo burgers & 2 fries $9.99, but when I got my order, he said it was $14. Very disappointing to lure people with false advertising.

“The service here is usually amazing new owners but glad to see despite some changes Madison has always provided amazing excellent service and a exceptional experience what ever she gets paid isn’t enough she makes every trip amazing and all I ever see her do is work even if there is only me and one other person she is always working hopefully she is paid well for such an amazing service.“

“The food was excellent but don't save space for a dessert. Eat all your great food because desserts are Only $10 which sounds like a deal but you only get 2 or 3 bites. It is really a shame because the food is great so you would think the desserts would be too!!!! “I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. “Despite a terrible experience I had at this restaurant from a very horrible waitress with a nasty attitude, the manager, Charlie Bowie really stepped in and took the correct approach necessary to resolve this issue for me and took it in consideration that something like this would never happen again. Based on my conversation with him, he really values customer service. Which makes me want to go back and eat there again in the near future. “I went to Manhattan in May and went to about 25 of the top pizza places. Village Pizza sits along those easily. It has such a distinct flavor I guess I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. I guess. But man is it spectacular. Is it greasy? Yep. But something about it is just amazing. I would love to try other toppings, but unfortunately he plain peperonni is so good, I just have to get that everytime. The greek salad is also hands down the best salad I have ever had in my life. “Placed a mobile order at Burger King today, and the pickup process went smoothly. The staff were nice enough, although they lacked a bit in personality.

The food was cooked well and served hot, which was great. However, I do have one major gripe: the amount of mayonnaise on the Whoppers. Both our Texas Whoppers and the Impossible Whopper had an insane amount of mayonnaise, which was quite gross, to be honest. We could only get through a portion of our meals because it became too much.

Other than that, everything else was good with our visit. If they could just dial back on the mayo, it would have been a much better experience.“

Bacon was stick in clumps, sausage patties were pink on one side and over cooked on other side. Coffee tasted watered down. Pastries were delicious.“

“I have been eating here for so many years. The Best Catfish in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.“
