“All I can say is OMG this is the BEST bbq joint! Leon’s choice brisket melts in your mouth! The ribs are amazing, as is the potato salad. His homemade seasonings and sauce is delicious! We visited with friends from England that wanted to try authentic Texas BBQ and the 4 of us devoured 2 pounds of meat. Leon even came out to introduce himself. Great food, great service and we’ll definitely be back!“
“Stopped in from League City to grab lunch. 2 meat tray with 2 sides offered a ton of food for 2 to share. Sliced brisket was moist and well smoked. Well balanced bbq sauce is very tasty and just the right amount of vinegar and pepper. Mac n cheese was creamy and bbq beans were tasty! Homemade pickles were tart and crunchy. Abita root beer on tap was a nice surprise. Tasted my daughter's grilled cheese and the sharp cheddar made it a top notch grilled cheese. Kids meal is large and comes with either Mac n cheese or chips. Friendly service and atmosphere and definitely will return for more awesome food. Next trip I plan to try the Kat's Mac bowl.“
“I have been here several times & have turned several people on to Rigos. There are so many choices. The homemade burgers are great, the grilled pork chops are grilled to perfection, the hamburger steak & green beans were seasoned well, the blueberry pancakes & regular pancakes are so tasty as well as the bacon & sausage patties. “This is one of the better barbecues in the southern Houston to Galveston area. I had half pound of brisket and a half pound of jalapeno sausage and both were terrific. It is the best brisket I have tried on this side of Texas. The barbecue sauce is a little mild for my liking but is tangy and good, I added jalapenos to my order from the bar and it was fine.Thry keep two BBQ sauces in kettles at the condiment bar, which is nice. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, even the manager went around and asked how people's food was and if there was anything else we needed or that he could get us. The environment is country western and has comfortable seating. Definitely a five-star restaurant I would recommend this to anybody.Dietary restrictions: Keto, carnivore, lion.“
“We stayed in Texas City to avoid the crowds in Galveston and the inevitable long wait to get a table in a restaurant.Gus was a comfortable restaurant, good service, GREAT food for a reasonable price. I had the blackened catfish, she had the fried. Both were excellent!“
“Went by today to drop off a deer to be processed and ate while we were there, I had the sliced brisket sandwich my wife had the brisket tots. “After church, I had been craving a sliced beef sandwich with Potato Salad. I was headed home, and decided to stop here. I am Super, Uber glad I did. This place is very, very nice and clean inside. TV's to watch every different Sports Major win there. The Food was DELICIOUS !! OMG! You have got to try this place. There were other people there, atmosphere friendly, and did I mention the Food? Get over there as soon as you can. I was not disappointed at all.. Texas Pit Stop, I will be back next Sunday, after church ❤❤“
“My family first time being here. Everything was great. Crawfish and crab clusters were delicious great flavor. Shrimp was overcooked. Calamari was ok. No flavor in the batter. Same with my daughters chicken tenders ,no flavor. All in all we have a awesome waiter named Kevin. He was very attentive and professional and deserves a raise. We will be returning! Recommend for everyone to try at least once!!“
“Everything was perfect, unfortunately a long drive but worth it when you arrive, the chopped brisket on a poboy bun is one of my favorites the staff was nice and polite, the drinks were a landscape of flavor, and the atmosphere just reminiscent of a old 80's style dinner, overall great place highly recommend.“

Both homemade BBQ sauces were tasty and so was the sweet tea. Good portions for the price. We ate there several times during our visit and would return again.“
“This is a well stocked Walmart with the usual fare. One thing I wished they had were large low carb tortillas. I always appreciate the lower cost of their grocery items and the convenience of all the other stuff you can get at Walmart. Sadly, most of their clothing is too small, but one can almost find just about whatever they need at a Walmart. This one is no exception.“
