“I started out with a cocktail that was spicy and a bit sweet. Our waiter Lorenzo was not only professional and courteous ,he was quite knowledgeable about the menu and very very handsome! You've got to try the prosciutto wrapped around a tender piece of grilled chicken and stuffed with goat cheese and spinach with a honey glaze. It was very good. Will definitely go there again“

“One of the best restaurant in San Antonio . Everything I had was wonderful . Very flavorful, appropriately portioned , reasonably priced & most of all served by knowledgeable personable staff. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough honestly. I had the bone marrow and steak tartar , ceviche with crispy plantains & braised short rib , all sublime .“

“I've been here twice now (in one week). The first time I got the strawberry cheesecake shake and was very pleased with what I got. The flavor was amazing, texture great and the perfect amount of "cake" mix. Today I went back for a burger mean, and the shake. The price is amazing for the food you get and the burger was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfectly salted. I cannot rave enough about this place. If you're lucky enough to get Dominic when you go up to order, he is very helpful also.“

“Stumbling across a gem like Biga is like finding that you've got the winning cricket jersey from an Australian World Cup Final - a rare and joyous occasion indeed! I had the distinct privilege of hosting my dad's 65th birthday bash at this venerated San Antonio establishment and let me tell ya, it was a ripper! The radiant ergonomics of the space gleamed with an aura of sophistication, evoking an atmosphere that had my heart bouncing like a kangaroo in the outback.Have you ever had the experience of downing a red velvet martini that, like a didgeridoo performance, reverberates through your being? Well, if not, then Biga will redefine the cocktail game for you. Every sip was like diving into a lush, velvet sea, chinning a heady and tantalizing journey through the echelons of mixology. Now let's all just take a moment to appreciate the culinary bravura of the chef. The lamb was as succulent as a ripe mango on a hot summer day at Bondi beach. The precision of the cooking struck a chord with me, the meaty melody of flavors humming a delectable tune. The salmon too reeled in heaps of praise from our party, flaking perfectly onto our forks - a true triumph from the deep sea.Yet, what tied this gastronomical journey together was the final act, the sweet climax: a sticky date pudding that had everyone at the table raising their spoons in admiration. It was served with a lovely note from the kitchen that added an endearing touch to the already joy-filled atmosphere, like a friendly 'G'day' from a fellow Aussie. All in all, Biga impressed with its fusion of elegant dining, sensational flavors and inviting hospitality. It comes together brilliantly, offering an experience that is, to put it simply, 'fair dinkum.' I sail out with a grin like a shark that's just chomped on a great white. So score one for Biga, earning a well-deserved 5-star review from yours truly. As I would say in good ol' Aussie terms, Biga, you've done us a beauty!“

“They were very busy during the eclipse and still managed to give us excellent service! It's right on the Riverwalk(cool!) and you can dine alfresco or inside. The table side guacamole was excellent! I ordered a blackened fish for $30. I think the "white fish" was tilapia, which I can't eat. I should have asked, because later my stomach was upset.Otherwise we had a great time.“

“I realize this place is a chain but this was our first time ever visiting. I like the set up, at least it worked for us coming in because we found a table right away. When we were leaving I could see that finding a table was a challenge. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner and my kids liked that they could get refills on their own.“

“Visiting from out of town we had a wonderful experience at Bar Loretta. It was great to see a local not on the River Walk thrive. The service was top notch from Ray! We loved everything from the cocktails to the appetizers (recommend the quail, shrimp and scallops), burrata beet salad, and entrees (our daughter said the Loretta burger was the best she ever had). Great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!“

“Menu changes every week, join the email list to see if the choice is for you. Small place, very nice patio. Nice pairing menu. Tonight it was a moussaka appetizer with an arugula and marinated cucumbers and chopped radish salad. The cannalomi with lamb filling- delicious and savory. The seared sea scallops were one of the best I've ever had, cooked just through. The corn chowder and shrimp base was a perfect combination. Chocolate for dessert- lovely light flourless torte. Oh and their own brand of Egg Cream Liqueur with dessert.“

“If I could give them 6 stars I would. From the moment I entered the restaurant to the time I left, I can say I absolutely LOVED it. Valentino was SO kind, patient, and thorough. Most importantly, the restaurant was clean and so was the restroom (a plus was the friendly and inclusive bathroom signs). Also, it wasn’t too loud or hectic which truly allowed us to enjoy our meal.Lastly, I can say that this is the first time in years where I’ve looked at a menu and wanted to order more than half of it ? The food was fresh and delicious and they have great drink options with a stacked bar! I will be coming back for sure.Below are my recommendations:1. Chargrilled oysters2. Shrimp tacos3. Soups: Roasted Jalapeños, Clam Chowder, and the Crab Bisque (mamá mía!)4. Fish tacos5. Vampire Sauce Crawfish w/ sausage and boiled egg (5/5 for those that like fresh & big crawfish).6. HURRICANE LOVETT (too good I forgot the pic??♀️)Bacardi Pineapple Rum, Myers’s Rum, Cruzan Hurricane Proof Rum, red passion fruit, orange, limeKid-friendliness: Good for family“

“I had the best experience at Kona Grill, tonight. Initially I didn't even want to go eat, I had enough after THIS day. Our server, Marisol, changed all of that. She was exceptionally attentive. “Stopped by for a burger. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service of this neighborhood burger joint. The menu is simple so I ordered the cheddar burger combo. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were also good all did was sprinkle some salt and Tabasco sauce and that did it for me. I will definitely stop by when in the area.“

“Excellent food. We had the lobster bisque, a BBQ shrimp flatbread and street tacos. It was wonderful. Our server was great. The sound level was low and we could talk and hear each other perfectly. We had an 1130 lunch. I will come back again. Highly recommend.“

“As a person who enjoys Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich, I have to say that Shake Shacks Chicken sandwich better! The chicken is juicy, seasoned well and the breading is crunchy without the rubbery texture you sometimes get at other chicken restaurants. The mayo dressing on the chicken sandwich makes for a tanging sauce. Also must try their mushroom burger with a beef patty. I love how they switched to a self order kiosk for quick service. Staff is able to focus on getting meals out quicker to tables.“

“What the heck, I mean it. Had the chipotle chicken enchiladas. So creamy and flavorful. Never had anything like this up north. We had shrimp nachos and the salsa was unusual (for someone from up north) but super tasty. I hope to go back someday. But for now, I'll always long for this place in San Antonio.“

“This place is a hole in the wall. Although small, it packs a punch when it comes to flavor and portion size. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This thing was huge juicy and very well seasoned, which is a plus for me. It came with 2 sides, which I got crispy okra and green beans. It was great! Everything was around $17, which for the size and the flavor it a great deal. The place is kinda small inside and busy with some very peculiar wall decor. But, the people were friendly and nice and the food made it all worth it.“

“We arrived right around noon. Promptly met by the staff. Food was delicious. I had the pork belly, steamed rice and pickled veggies. Pork belly was cooked properly, pickled veggies were sweet but crisp, rice was firm and held form well, sauce brought balance to everything. Would highly recommend.“

“I’ve ordered two whole chickens and the camp grill for two for a small birthday potluck gathered and everyone raved. The corn fritters didn’t travel well and the carrots and leeks were not appealing to look at but none of that stopped people from chowing down and singing praises.I’ve orders to go a few other times as my bf works down the street. I have only dined in once with some of my bffs from Austin. I get my usual - the pork plate. So juicy and flavorful and that chimichurri and grits. Everything I have tasted is delicious but I can’t NOT get a dish that is 3 of my favorite things - pork, chimichurri, and and grits.I’ll do illegal things for good grits and CampOutpost may be 1st degree felony worthy. The atmosphere is fabulous. It’s open, laid back. The outside has a fun welcoming vibe. I’m very picky about anything grilled or bbq as my family owns a bbq place down south. This is BBQ owner approved. Also the smoked meats are much better than the joints that normally make the top lists, IMHO. Everything about this place - the people the service the food. They are doing it right!“

“This place has AWESOME burgers and fries that won't break the bank. Will their burgers have a unique taste, if someone forced me to compare it to another place, I would probably say they kinda taste like the burgers that you would get at The Texas Roadhouse! Service was friendly and fast and would not mind going out of my way to go back (if I wasn't pressed for time of course!). I hear that their chicken is just as good so maybe I'll try it out on my next go.“

“Today this Restaurant needed help. Unbeknownst to the team they had call ins, two servers had to manage the Door Dash orders, and the customers in the store. I then Learned the manager, Tyler, had to help cook, When I asked about the drinks coming out later. It’s today the team worked hard to accommodate all customers making sure they had what they needed and provided the reasonable explanations on wait times. Our, waitress Jennifer did a good job getting our meals to us hot. The OG Cook, Andrew, who’s been there for over 20 years, made our Pancakes fluffy, our eggs thick and picked out the ripest sweetest strawberries for my Stuffed French Toast. Keep it up Store #2380 keeping real in South Side.“

“We waited for a table, but that was to be expected. It wasn't a long wait and we were able to wait in the bar. The bar staff was less than friendly but that all changed when we got our table. Our waiter was delightful and attentive. The drinks were delicious and our meal choices were phenomenal. The two types of salsa served with chips were both wonderful. My skinny margarita was the best margarita I have ever had. Our family is gluten free and we loved the choices and had no signs of exposure. We almost didn't go based on some of the reviews but we're so glad we did. A wonderful dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options, all listed on the menu and easy to find.“
“I heard good things about their beer, so I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I'm a big fan of German and Belgian style beers and that appears to be their specialty. The Tripel Volunteer was pretty authentic for a Belgian Tripel. However, the MKII Doppelbock fell well short of an authentic German Doppelbock... it went flat in a hurry, tasting as if it spent some time in a whiskey barrel, and also had a smell of vinegar on the nose. Even so, I recommend Longtab as a good craft beer venue. Prompt friendly service. I'm a veteran and I give these veterans a big thumbs up!“

“What a gem of a place for brunch. New Orleans-style jazz cafe with a charming atmosphere. The eggs benedict with brisket with homemade everything (including the English muffin) was really great, including the potatoes on the side. I also appreciate it that it was not a giant serving, because everything was very very rich and satisfying. Great music and a really relaxing vibe.“

“Such a true gem of a restaurant, that probably does not get the recognition and patronage of the locals due to its being part of the Hill Country Resort. My wife and I have been coming here since 1991 and I commend you all for maintaining your high standards in everything you do, from the food to the service, to the décor, all first rate, top notch through the years. Looking forward to stopping by in December for my wife's birthday!Edit: Just now getting the time to write a follow-up review. Had a wonderful time and another great experience at Antler's Lodge in December 2023. Looking forward to a return visit in April this year when I am home once again in Texas.“

“boyfriend and i frequent this place often for casual date nights & love it every time. however, i just wanted to commend ashley the waitress! every time we come here we ask for ranch on the side for our fries & it never comes with the order so we have to ask our server again (it's a benign request, i totally understand why everyone forgets it & place absolutely no fault on anyone). but today we were pleasantly surprised that the ranch came with our food in the basket- she remembered! additionally, throughout our entire time there, ashley was so smiley & personable & caring! from one food service gal to another: you're amazing!!!“

“JP had an awesome attitude and was extremely attentive. The appetizers were delicious and appropriately sized. Don't expect an entree size, the price is for flavor alone. The steaks were cooked immaculately, and even the strip was tender. 5 across the board, well worth the price if you want a top-quality steak.“

“Idk what changed from April 17, 2023 til March 22, 2024 but my first time at this location was very underwhelming for a dry Monday night. However, they outdid themselves this time. I came on a very busy Friday night, had to wait about 35-40’minutes for a table but my server was swift and polite, my drinks, appitizer, & food all came in a reasonable amount of time and they were really busy. My food was hot and flavorable. Omg. THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A RESTAURANT!!!!! I’m a foodie and my service wasn’t even this impeccable at Pappadeaux or Ruth Chris. “Great place for Pizza and Stella beverages. We came late Saturday night, right before closing and the team there was already wrapping the place down. They were so kind and allowed us to order to go, and we had a beverage at the bar while waiting. I tried the raspberry Stella, but was too bitter for me. I was given a sample of a lighter option, it was delicious. #7. Pizza was overwhelmingly delicious, we wished we could have ordered one to go. They use fresh ingredients. The dough was soft and had a perfect toasty taste to it. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor honestly. We appreciate the waiter who welcomed us, and the lady bar tender who was so kind. “The food is ok at best, my family and I ate there this last weekend as a quick stop. We dined in to ensure the freshness of the food would be hot. What we thought would be a great meal turned out to be something that we were all left wanting something else. None of us finished our meal for many reasons. The juice soaked through the buns so fast that it became a soggy mess that actually would have been better off eating with a fork. I asked for no lettuce or tomatoes on mine and got lettuce and no pickles. The flavor of normal was way off on the fries like the oil had not be changed in a good while. There was an overwhelming smell of burnt food at the counter when ordering that was a bit of a turnoff as well which may have caused the partial loss of appetite. Top all of that off with folks taking your order consistently clearing their throat to the point you could hear the congestion really set things off for us. To make things even better, none of the fountain drinks were working and we were stuck to having the lemonade. But as a side note, the lemonade is likely the best thing at this location!“
