“Ok JUST GO to the back of the line to get into this amazing experience. The pastries are delicious and the meals are fantastic. The food comes out faster than you’d think Pick your pastries (notice I’m using plural) then a breakfast sandwich or combo. Have a wonderful coffee and taken in the show.Great places are worth the line, this is one of them.“

“Possibly one of the best restaurants in San Antonio, if not the best. The service is homely. The atmosphere is vibrant. The food is to die for. My wife is from Veracruz, MX and she says this tastes EXACTLY like her home town. The portions a giant for the price. I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Best most delicious Birria Tacos in San Antonio!! Also the customer service is AMAZING! I called to place a pick up order and they didn’t answer but immediately called me right back. But I’ve been here quit a few times and they never miss with the food or service! I also love the drive through option. Keep up the good work!“

“We went here real late after spending the day on the river walk, I wanted to try some authentic SA tacos since I heard they were better than Dallas. The service was fast and great and we saw a lot of patrons there so we said this must be good, the tacos were very small and most street tacos are but the food wasn’t seasoned or flavored as much as I would like, it tasted a little bland.“

“We had the pleasure of meeting Tom and Maria a week ago and they invited to their restaurant. They told us about how original their food was and that customers were invited to make their own combinations. We arrived to find a menu and an off menu menu created by return customers. It was amazing! We had a very hard week and this meal not only fed our bellies but our souls. Everything is homemade and it shows. This charming restaurant is a must go! Do yourself a favor and come to Maria's!“

“Food is consistently good. Very good flavor and quick service. I enjoy the Baja Fish Tacos the best and get it almost everytime I go. The restaurant is small and nothing special to see but for a quick bite it is a nice stop. The employees have always been very nice and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to go.“

I had been looking for a go to place for birria and finally found it hubby got mini tacos and those were also so good! They had all the fixings and were stuffed. Will be going back!! Prices are also very reasonable 10/10“

“The food is excellent, especially the mole enchiladas. My only knock on this place is that it's LOUD. Eating in the little dining room is like eating in a New York subway terminal. And to make it even worse they insist on playing loud music. It's SO loud you can't enjoy your food.If you want to have a conversation with your dining partners, try to snag a table in the bar (and when has dining in the bar been quieter than the dining room?) or even better on the patio.Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the restaurants are easily accessible. Unfortunately, there are only two handicapped parking spaces. I'm not sure how they get away with that.“

“Well, we’re over from England celebrating my 70th birthday and the meal here this evening was easily the best by far. It will not and cannot be exceeded for the rest of our three week trip. The rib-eye was so well cooked and the mushrooms were elevated to a flavour level that I didn’t think mushrooms could reach. My wife’s fish tacos were equally as wonderful and have been recorded as having reached legendary status. Edward the chef and joint owner has a superb palate and clearly knows how to put a dish together. We’re leaving first thing tomorrow morning. If we weren’t we’d be back. Too late to change our plans. What a shame.Just go and go again. This has been the highlight of dining out not just of this trip but perhaps of all time.“

“The ambiance on the patio was amazing and the food was superb. I got an enchilada with spinach and sundried tomatoes that was recommended by the server and my husband got the skirt steak, which she also recommended. Both were excellent. The drinks also did not disappoint. I had never had a Mexican martini (I'm a vodka dirty martini gal) and it was very, very good. My husband said their top shelf margarita was the best he's had in a long time. We're visiting from out of state and came here on a whim on a Friday night with no reservation and though it was very busy we only waited about a half an hour for an outdoor patio spot. Highly recommend!“

“This is one of my favorite spots to get fast, affordable street tacos in San Antonio. If eating there, you order your tacos at the window, sit down to eat, then go to the register to pay after. The restaurant is a bit noisy with loud music and lots of people around, so it may be best for individuals sensitive to noise and chatter to order their tacos to take out. The service is really fast, so make sure you know what you want by the time you get to the window.“

“So delicious! We have been looking for a new regular place and this place hit the spot. The owners were so nice and welcoming, we had the enchiladas and the carne guisada which were so good. Tortillas were perfect and the chips and salsa were also delicious. Can’t wait to come back!“

“?The only thing I would change is the attitude of the guy who was in the window for drinks. He had the ugliest attitude and RBF when I greeted him and then at the end of our purchase …. Gave us prayer hands and said enjoy…. ???… how are you gunna be rude and have an ugly attitude and then throw prayer hands at the end…… anyways, hope he finds another job cuz I would have enjoyed that place so much more without the fake namaste attitude lol?AND THE DRINKS? Overpriced … 2 drinks came out to roughly $35…. For a kombucha and a 10mg THC drink…. -_-✨However, the ladies at the food truck though… THEY WERE ALL COOL AF. And the food was ON POINT! :)✨“

“This is by far one of the best places to hang out in downtown San Antonio! The scenery and atmosphere of the restaurant are unmatched for a perfect Sunday brunch. Excellent service from the second you walk in the door. The hostess (Suzy) greeted our party with a warm welcome and set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. “My review is for the cellar wine shop attached to mixtli. I have not yet had the pleasure of dinning at mixtli (a mistake I shall correct soon). The wine shop on site is literally the best one in town and I'm obsessed with how well Hailey does with her recommendations. Seriously, all you have to tell her is the mood and price point you're after and she will hit it out the park. Every single time. Her knowledge is outstanding and I love how she shares the story behind the wine when you stop in. I am now unable to go anywhere else for wine and I'm honestly not mad about it at all.San Antonio needs more places like this in town!!“

“Great place to go. You can feed one to a family of four. Not much to choose from which makes it easier. There are burgers and fries for the kids but the name of the place is what you go for. My go to is the meal for two people with half a chicken, beef fajitas half a pound, and a sausage. Yum! Along with it is a side of charro beans, rice, and corn tortillas. I’m not a drinker so for those looking for a beer and dinner this is not the place for it. Family friendly. They do have two locations on Culebra, the newer place is less busy. Must check it out. I think the food is moderately priced. The meal for two, I pay $30 before tip.I’ll post a pic if I find one. I forgot to take one when I was there for dinner 7/25/23.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and noise is welcome.Parking: If it’s busy remember there is another location maybe six blocks down the road on Culebra and Colorado.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible parking and entrance.“

“They do one thing, and they do it well. The al pastor tacos are cooked correct and they are the same size as you would find on a street cart in Mexico. “First time here. I love Mexican food. This is this little Tex-Mex style, but very good. I enjoyed the Carne Guisada. Tender chunks of beef tips in a deliciously spicy gravy. Everything on point. Service was friendly and efficient. Family friendly restaurant good for parties and kids.“

“Okay so I have three tacos I use to initially judge Mexican restaurants. Potato & Egg cause that’s a classic and if you mess that up how can I trust you? Carne guisada because that’s all about getting the spice right AND slow cooking the beef correctly, you cant rush art and a tough carne guisada taco tells me a lot. Lastly a chicharron taco because I feel like that not the most common taco so its easy to slack off on the "less popular" tacos.SO! Where does Chelitas stand? Part of me wants to tell you this place sucks because its already too busy and its getting tough to get a table at my new favorite restaurant as is! So all I have to say is if you hate flavor and delicious tortillas youre gonna hate this place! Lets face it, do you REALLY want to have the best tacos in San Antonio just so your standards are raised and everywhere else now falls short? Its hard to see 4k and go back to VHS, so stay away from these 4k tacos for your tastebuds…“

“Found another hidden gem here on culebra and Ingram rd. In a shopping center. I ordered mini asada tacos, I wanted the plate but miss communication on my part and just got the tacos. They were very flavorful and good. Came with cilantro and onion. Salsa was hot and good as well. Place is very clean, service was fast and they speak English and Spanish. You can order to go or you can sit down and eat. I will visit again and next time try their beans and rice. If you are in the area you can check them out. You won’t be disappointed !“

The meats are flavorful, and juicy. The portions are very generous for the price. I definitely recommend, and my family and I will be back for sure.“

Eva’s is an Authentic Mexican restaurant & they don’t play around in the Kitchen. I ordered 3 tacos Of Beef Fajita, 1 Taco de Asada , & 1 of Barbacoa. And they were delicious, and very filled with Meat. I’ve also ordered 3 Small Menudos & they were very tasty. I recommend everyone to come check out Eva’s, it’s also a lot cheaper compared to other Restaurants.“

“Barbacoca is good, not too greasy, but does need a little salt added. I had a flower tortilla, which is really good. Corn tortilla is thick and a little dry. Both are homemade..you can get a lb, 1 liter of soda and tortillas for 20 bucks, ask for the family deal. It's cheaper that way. It doesn't come with onions or cilantro.“

“The pork and jalapeño tamales have an amazing flavor. They’re the thinner tamales, but lots of filling and not doughy. The staff was soooo nice and helpful. Very reasonable prices. Price was $8.70 for the brisket and all the fixings you want. There wasn't an additional fee for sour creme or guacamole. Good food if you are on base.
