They were crispy, fresh, and somehow tasted like fritos (in the best way), which made them impossible to stop eating. The salsas were so, so delicious and paired perfectly with everything. I also have to mention the agua fresca... it was really delicious and so refreshing. On top of that, the customer service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, and fast. The restaurant was clean, and set up simply for efficiency, which I loved. It’s perfect if you want to grab and go tacos without sacrificing quality. “San Antonio is known for it's Tex-mex/Mexican food. I've lived here for over 40 years. Papo's ishas - hands down - some of the best street tacos and quesadillas in the city. My only complaint is I wish they were open more days/hours; I'd be going here all the time.“

We had the street tacos (carne asada) and a Mexican hamburger, was just missing the ham we are used to for a Mexican burger but still very good. Agua frescas were delicious not too sweet. “We went for Sunday Brunch and shared the chips with guac, queso and salsa and got the cheese enchiladas and the fajita enchiladas. All was good. Next time I would get chicken enchiladas over cheese but it's just personal preference. Add more wine selections available by the glass vs. bottle only.“

“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“We stopped in to celebrate our son's 12th birthday, his wish was to go plane spotting as a family. My husband remembered from his childhood how close the planes would fly while coming in to land at the airport so we decided to visit again. Best choice ever! The staff is kind, courteous and attentive. The patio is absolutely perfect for plane spotting! It is beautiful with an amazing garden themed atmosphere.
