“Shrimp Snack was a tad bit off… noticed some of them still had pieces of their poo/entrails on them but the others flavor were divine and a good quantity for the price! My boy got the shaved ice and strawberry w/nutella and he loved his. Wish they had agua fresca here or sold Mexican Cokes but cute little stand and very kind lady at the window.“

“We’ve eaten here several times since they moved locations in Spicewood. The food has been consistently great; salsa, steak nachos, enchiladas, etc all very tasty. Food comes out at a decent clip. Great location in Spicewood with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service though is often hit or miss. We’ve had a couple of good servers who engage and are friendly, but do feel there is a culture within the restaurant where hospitality is ignored. Some of the staff have come across downright rude, ignoring us, muttering as they walk away, etc. Can’t put our finger on it, but a couple of times we’ve walked away feeling like the staff didn’t want us there and/or didn’t appreciate the business. If they could get that attitude figured out, it would make a tremendous difference.“

“I accidentally came across El Bajío Mexican Food Truck after seeing other reviews, and I’m glad I gave it a try.

The food was pretty solid overall, and I was happy with what I got. The consommé had pieces of beef stew in it, which made it extra satisfying and really hit the spot.

This was a nice food truck find and definitely worth checking out if you’re craving solid Mexican food.“

Compadres is hands down the best tasting and best value food trailer in Spicewood. The owner and his family are genuine and committed to great service! My pro-tip is to call your order in ahead of time because the space is tight inside when it’s busy. If needed, ask for English, there’s always someone to help!! :) it’s the breakfast tacos and lunch tacos for me“

“On the way to Lake Travis, we needed some food and Birrierias seemed like a good spot to get some lunch. It is a little food truck area by a bodega gas station. Got some tacos, esquites (corn in a cup), and a birrierias torta. The service was quick and all the food was delicious, but esquites was a little pricey. I would recommend stopping here for some authentic street food that hit the spot.“

I did not expect to have some of the best tacos in recent memory at an unassuming taco truck in Steiner Ranch of all places. Highly recommend the carne asada.
