The sushi itself was reasonably priced for the quality. Favorite picks were salmon, sea bream, and hotate. The gyu-toro was our top dish as the meat was soft and full of flavor. Honorable mentions have to go to the cocktails, uni pasta, and mushroom risotto.“

Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. The owner was very nice as well, she let me pick out an ice cream and even brought another for my friends to share and then they all sang me happy birthday. “I’ve been coming here since 2015, and after more than a decade it is still one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently fresh and beautifully prepared. The ginger dressing is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, and even the jasmine rice with toasted black sesame seeds shows the attention to detail they put into every meal. The staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Today they refilled my miso soup without me asking and even boxed my leftovers for me at the table—something I usually only experience in fine dining restaurants. And all of that, including iced tea, came to under $17. This place is an absolute gem.“
