“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! Next on our list is their BBQ restaurant! Can't wait!“

I booked a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and the owner called me personally and spoke with me and made sure that she decorated our table personally and even got us a private room (which I had no idea was going to happen)! When we arrived, there were beautiful balloons, candles and a stunning room filled with low lights and music. Her husband even came in to make sure everything was to our liking and the waitress (Chloe) was outstanding! I cannot say how wonderful each and every person was that night and how great the food was as well. We will for sure be regular customers at this restaurant for years to come! “All the food is excellent. The house steak is great and warms up well for leftovers. I recommend using a fork with that though. I am always getting the subs and seafood. And they fix them to order, but I always get them with what they always put on them. This location also does online ordering but I have not tried that yet.“

“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“This place is amazing!! I got the 3 dozen fried shrimp and fries and they were delicious!! They didn't taste like chlorine and they were served fresh and hot. The fries were not salty (just how I like it). The lady helping me at the counter was so nice and friendly. I think this is my favorite seafood place now. I can't wait to go back!“

“We love this place, everything is fresh and cooked when you order, we have gotten the red snapper lots of times,(it’s about $65) its my husband’s favorite. Their seasoning is soo good. Highly recommend. But get there early, they open at 10, but will be soo packed by noon. Especially on a sunday.“

I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." We told the cashier and she was not receptive, just took our money. There didn't seem to be a manager or owner available for us to talk to. We will not be back and will certainly spread this news!“

We had to wait quite a while for our server, Amy, and they weren't extremely busy. “This is a restaurant that bought an old shut down fast food restaurant (Burger King or McDonald’s). One of those family owned restaurants where you know the food is gonna hit. It has a lot of charms about it.

There were 3 of us and we got 2 combos (fish and shrimp combo) and it was enough to fill all of us up. The taste was great and the fried rice was really good too.

The server was very polite and she brought out all the sauces and things we needed.“

“The food was decent and the view was ver nice. The whole Kemah Boardwalk area is beautiful and fun for the whole family. A must visit if you are in the area. This restaurant in particular has a nice decor with lots of fish tanks to keep the kids entertained. I ordered the sampler (see picture) and the calamari and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. I would recommend it, specially if you are with your family.“

We've ordered from JB's for over 13 years. Never had an issue!!! Never had bad food or bad service or an issue with the prices.
The staff is super friendly! The delivery lady has practically watched my kids grow up lol

I only wish they were open on Tuesdays, seems I crave their food on Tuesdays more than not. But definitely a fantastic option for a simple clean China take out. Highly recommend“

Walking up to the venue, jazz music was playing. This put me in my happy zone immediately!! It set the mood right out the gate. We were seated with no wait. We made a reservation. Nick was our server. He was very personable. Top notch table maintenance and follow-up! Now, let's talk about the delicious food! We had the $40 brunch buffet. We felt it was as worth it! I tried the following: gumbo, bacon, sausage, hash potatoes, chicken & waffles, fried fish, greens, smoked salmon, boiled shrimp, grits..,,whewwww! I didn't get to enjoy the omelet station or the carving station. More reason to return...AND WE WILL! We washed it down with mimosas with OJ and PJ! Tasty tasty. We couldn't believe a full bottle of was only $10. I was expecting a champagne split not bottle! There is a bar area right off of the buffet lines. The bar has swings!! Like “when you were a kid” swings!! Also, there is patio seating too! Live jazz music was playing the entire time we were there! Again, another reason to return!! Great experience all the way around! I drove by this place for years and never knew that I was missing out on ALOT . I was missing the down home Louisiana cooking and the friendliest of the staff .Including the owner . We like the seafood well enough, yet service should be exceptional at a seafood restaurant. Service was anything but that tonight. Even setting at the bar it took over 10 minutes and a call to the manager to get drinks while we waited on our table. Once we were seated at the table, the waiter was courteous, except I'll be damned if he would take one single dirty dish or glass from the table. And seriously, nobody should have to ask their waiter or waitress 2 or 3 times for anything. Once, seriously should be enough. I hate to say this, but after going here for over 15 years, I think it's time to move on.“
