As a Christian, I am reminded that scripture calls us to remember that we are all sinners saved by grace, arriving before God in need of His mercy. Christ commands us to love our neighbor, and that heart for restoration is felt the moment you sit down. ​The food portions are generous and excellent, but the real highlight is the staff. Our server, Adrian, treated us with genuine kindness and top-tier attentiveness. The culinary team also deserves immense credit, and my prayer is that they are encouraged by how much their hard work blessed our table. ​Thank you to the leadership for establishing a non-profit model that provides a pathway for recovery and transformation. It is a beautiful thing to see lives being rebuilt, and we are grateful for the warmth and hospitality we experienced.“

“Wonderful little hidden gem (that's maybe becoming not quite so hidden). I attended a special wine dinner here and, even though I don't drink at all, I still really enjoyed the meal. The food was all thoughtfully prepared and felt truly like dining at a friend's home. Everything was so personal and intentional.

I was sat at a communal table with other solo diners which led to some really interesting conversation. We all bonded over our appreciation of the food.

“We visited **Best Quality Daughter** to celebrate the launch of a new book, and it couldn't have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Between the four of us, we sampled quite a bit of the menu: the salt and pepper shrimp, smashed cucumbers, two orders of the super garlicky noodles, the creamy coconut tom yum noodles, the monthly specials, and all three desserts. Every single dish was exceptional. The flavors were bold, creative, and exciting, with each plate bringing something unique to the table. I also ordered the **You Can't Tame This Wild Pony** cocktail, and it was absolutely unbelievable—one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. I’m so glad we took the chance because let me tell you the food was so delicious! Definitely can taste the homemade cooking. Very authentic. The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.“

“On 02/09/2026, my wife and I dined at Signature in San Antonio, Texas. We were overwhelmed by the service and the menu. Our server Catherine guided us through all four courses. We were amazed by the freshness of all the ingredients and the presentation. The quail was exquisite. The beet salad was to die for, and the venison melted in your mouth. The fried oysters and crispy salmon were amazing. All the staff were very attentive, but I must give high praise to our server Catherine, who made our special evening even more special. “This is a great place to see live music. The sound is great, the space is intimate (not a bad seat in the house!), and the vibe is spot-on. Our drinks and pecan pie were solid but those were secondary to the music. Seems like there's plenty of free street parking in the area if you don't mind walking a couple blocks.“

I got the Eden Salad and sweet potatoes. We ended up taking our lunch to go. So good! It was a big portion so it actually lasted for two meals.
