The service was friendly even though they were overrun with customers, in a good way!
The footprint of their restaurant that we went to Sunday is a bit small but they make it work!

We came with a group of 8 & played baseball, darts, axe throwing and dodgeball. The staff was great on explaining the rules/ how to play the games and provided excellent food/info during our time here. 10/10 recommend.

The waffle fries with gringo cheese dip, the macaroni and cheese side dish, and the summer salad are must tries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade including the salad dressing. Nothing was cold, stale or past its eating prime. In brief, eating at 54th Street was a culinary experience and the prices were absolutely reasonable. When in the area again we will definitely eat here again!”

Wrong. I'm so glad that I was so completely wrong. I didn't know how good a bagel could be until I came here. They're just next level: the texture, the flavor, the schmear, everything. I've tried different bagels and different schmears here (plus the lox), and it's as good or better every time I come.

It's a little bit of a drive (for me), but the bagels here will cure what ails you.”

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. “I have been coming to this location for 6 years since I moved to Carrollton. They have the best staff working here. Everytime we have come the hotesses & servers have always been so welcoming, kind, respectful, friendly, accomodating, & offer great food service. The food I've ordered has always been delicious. Emily was our server today & as usual she did not disappoint with the service. Very attentive, friendly, kind, & respectful. Moving out of the area, clear across to the Panhandle of Texas & am sad to not be able to eat here anymore. The city we are moving has a Cotton Patch & hope their service is just as great! Overall, the daiquiri was done right. It doesn't have that weird taste that some other daiquiri do.
The waffles were okay, but would probably be better with toppings added.
