“Run, don’t walk, to Motor City Pizza. We ended up here by accident last weekend, after the restaurant we were going to was unexpectedly closed. This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It’s rare we have such a great experience entirely “by accident”. We can’t wait to go back! Maybe next time I’ll remember to get pictures :)”

The Up North bun was unlike anything we’ve ever had before, but it’s reminiscent of a waffle served with ice cream (plus chocolate & caramel sauces) - absolutely delicious! We also tried their iced mocha, which had a strong espresso flavor and no sugar - while the sugar didn’t dissolve super well, what did work was adding some of the melted ice cream … yummy! The barista patiently described the menu items to us and was as sweet as could be. Highly recommend!”

We came with a group of 8 & played baseball, darts, axe throwing and dodgeball. The staff was great on explaining the rules/ how to play the games and provided excellent food/info during our time here. 10/10 recommend.

The menu is expansive and surely anyone can find something to suit their tastes. We both had protein bowls for lunch and the filets for dinner. The protein bowls were so flavorful we didn’t feel like we were eating a healthy meal option. The waffle fries with gringo cheese dip, the macaroni and cheese side dish, and the summer salad are must tries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade including the salad dressing. Nothing was cold, stale or past its eating prime. In brief, eating at 54th Street was a culinary experience and the prices were absolutely reasonable. When in the area again we will definitely eat here again!”

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. “Tried the 24-K latte at Desert Avenue and it was not only stunning but delicious ✨ Served on a beautiful gold tray—it honestly felt like Dubai vibes. Paired it with an almond croissant, which was perfectly flaky and delicious. Highly recommend the lavender ice cream too—so unique and refreshing! They offer a great variety of desserts and drinks, and I truly loved everything I tried. Such a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere—I’ll definitely be returning!”

Fries were crispy & had seasoning that was made them so yummy. Hubby & I shared 10 wings, fries & celery/carrot sticks & it was only $18. Way better priced than a lot of places & way more flavor than anywhere. Wings were large & we didn't feel let down like going to wing stop or other well known wing places. Ranch dressing was really good as well, would love to take some to go for home. Will definitely be back.
