“This spot is run by Divya and her husband, and they’re super accommodating. I was in town for a few business meetings, and my senior partner and I were starving late at night. They still welcomed us in and never made us feel rushed. The dosa was great, too. Definitely coming back to support them.“

“Had a wonderful experience here. The Mysore bonda was delicious — perfectly crispy, made with less oil, and paired with unique, tasty chutneys that really stood out. The highlight, though, was the Irai chai, easily one of the best I’ve had.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, flavorful South Indian breakfast!“

“After a long time, I felt compelled to write a review for an Indian restaurant because our family truly enjoyed the food at Nag’s Kitchen.
There are a few strong reasons why this place stood out for us:
1. Warm hospitality and clear explanations: From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly. The staff took the time to patiently explain each food item and its ingredients, which we really appreciated. A special mention to the person at the register wearing an orange hoodie—he explained everything in great detail and maintained a genuinely welcoming smile throughout the conversation. That personal touch made a big difference.
2. Excellent food quality: The items we ordered were all very good, but the Goat Fry Piece Biryani deserves special praise. The meat was perfectly cooked, extremely flavorful, and the pieces were tender and delicious. It truly stood out as one of the best goat biryanis we’ve had in a while.
3. Fresh and natural taste: Another thing we liked is that the food did not seem to contain any artificial colors or added tasting salt. The flavors felt authentic, clean, and home-style, which is not easy to find these days.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the experience at Nag’s Kitchen. It’s a place we definitely plan to keep visiting and would happily recommend to others looking for authentic, well-prepared Indian food.“

“First time today. Ordered Tikka Masala bowl for her and Tikka burrito for me. Also Paneer fries and a couple Naans. Everything tastes good, but Naan is dry. Spice level is about 3 and we are usually 1 or zero, so be aware. Can we request less spicy?“
“Most delicious food in the area! Really enjoyed the wonderful traditional culinary dishes with perfect spices. We had the Peri Peri Paneer, Gongura Chicken Tikka, Royal Seema Chicken Biryani and Masala Mutton Curry. Desserts were wonderful too especially the Kaddu Ka Kheer and the Chocolate Brownie Sizzler.“

“The butter chicken here is AMAZING! I have gone here twice and had a really good experience with my order. Although it is a bit pricy for my liking, the price is absolutely worth it for the quality of the food! I have also had an order of samosas here and they are absolutely delicious and FRESH. I am planning to come here again to try the Malai Kofta, super excited!“

“Amazing food and even more amazing service!!! We ordered parotta, puri, chicken curry and beef roast. Every single item was QUALITY. Seriously, even down to the cilantro was simply quality. {insert chef’s kiss} They said it would take about 15 mins, it was ready in 12. We had chaiya and ethika uppum (fried plantain) to end the meal and OH. EM. GEE. sooo fresh & delicious. This is a MUST STOP in Carrollton! My husband can be pretty picky with his Kerala food and chaiya, and he just wouldn’t stop raving about it all!“

“My go to place, visited so many times. Food is really good especially parota and chicken 65 are my fav. Tried non vegg thali too but it didn’t match the expectation. Kothuparota is okaish. Recently tried filter coffee but it is not hot and didn’t felt authenticity it. Food taste will resemble to chennai style so don’t expect too much spice. Staff is really good and food will be served fast. Ambiance and cleanliness is pretty decent. Hope it helps!!!“

“A late review, but a great one. We had a small religious event at our home and no second thoughts but went to order with Sai Bhavan. Requirements shared over a text message for Satvik food for a group of around 20 people and they immediately understood what we want and ensured that every single item was prepared with great care. Spice level requirement was well understood and managed very well. Food was ready before time and was super fresh and so tasty. This place has been our family's go to when it comes to any sort of catering or even a casual dinner out at the restaurant. Love the place. #Secondtimecatering#“

“We hosted a party for 55 people at the Delhi Lounge! The service was impeccable and the food was the best North Indian food in DFW. It’s a beautiful private room opening to patio with fireplace. The place smells good(important) . We have received a lot of compliments on the choice of place and food quality. Very hard working team, Bhanu and team, Manish and Vik took care of all our needs. If you are looking to host a small party, look no further. Highly recommend.“

“The fried rice was truly impressive. Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked fluffy, separate, and not greasy. The seasoning was well balanced, with a delicious smoky aroma that showed real skill at the wok. The ingredients tasted fresh and were evenly mixed throughout the dish. The portion size and presentation were also very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this fried rice and look forward to ordering it again.“

“Bay Leaf Garden is one of the best spots for authentic Kerala food in the DFW area. Everything tasted fresh, well-spiced, and true to South Indian flavors.
The aviyal was excellent — balanced coconut flavor, perfectly cooked vegetables, and not overly heavy. The beef fry was outstanding: tender, deeply spiced, and clearly cooked with care. The chili chicken had great heat and flavor without being greasy, and the porotta was soft, flaky, and exactly how it should be — perfect for pairing with the curries and fry.
You can tell this is food made for people who actually know Kerala cuisine, not toned down or generic. Portions were solid and the flavors really stood out.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Kerala-style food rather than standard Indian restaurant fare. This is my go to for anytime I am craving Kerala food.“

“I tried the paneer biryani at Swagath and it was genuinely excellent. The paneer was soft and fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were well balanced without being too heavy. Every bite tasted rich and aromatic. Easily one of the best paneer biryanis I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely order it again.“

“I found this on google maps an realized it was in an Indian grocery store. But don't let that distract you. Looks like this is the place to get some quick, no frills Indian food. There was a short line and I didn't want to hold it up so I found something and ordered it - poori with channa masala. I've never had poori. The channa masala was fresh smelling and piping hot. Spicy too!
There was a second line for chaat foods. And it looked like some of the other diners had thali dishes (think mixed appetizer plates). I'm curious to try some of the other foods, especially from the chaat menu. I'm sure I'll be back.“
“Always love their service and delicious food.
We prefer milder, so we always ask for mild food and they prep to that spice level which is appreciated and we recently had their chef special dish that's not on the menu yet, paneer majestic and it tasted very good. Their ulavacharu biryani was also flavorful. We also enjoy their tikkas sizzling n bursting with flavors.“

“The food was good and correct amount of spices. We took royal and maharaja thali with chicken dum biriani. Everything was good. The only part I liked less were Rasam and salt lassi. Lassi was too salted for me, but it is probably okay for others. So no complaints. Happy about the service“
