“We tried this place for the first time tonight. It's tucked in the corner of a strip mall, and can be a little hard to find. So glad we did! The noodles are made on-site and are absolutely fresh and delicious. It reminded me of some of the best noodle shops I tried in China. You order on your phone, or they have a self-serve area where you can choose all your ingredients and they will make the rest of the dish for you using what you've chosen. “I've eaten many times at a couple of other restaurants that are near the Lucky House Fine Asian Cuisine, and saw they were always busy. The customers coming out said they were good, and recommended their favorites. I decided to try Lucky House for the 1st time on a Monday afternoon around 3PM. The Lunch Specials are from 11AM - 4PM, which are Chicken or Beef for $9.99, and Shrimp for $10.59. One Egg Roll & Steamed Rice are included. They also have a small, self-service buffet bar with Miso, Egg Drop, and Hot & Sour Soups, lettuce, cookies with almond slices and Fortune Cookies. The women who work here greeted me, and took my order. I had the L2 Broccoli Chicken. The women were very courteous, attentive, and checked back several times to make sure everything was ok. It was. “This place serves some of the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had in the DFW area. Over several visits, I’ve tried the marriage beef, tea-smoked duck, “ants on the tree,”and xiaolongbao. Each dish was full of flavor.

The marriage beef was tender, spicy, and well-seasoned. The tea-smoked duck had a deep, smoky flavor without being too salty. “Ants on the tree” was a great comfort dish, but the glass noodles were a bit too watery for my taste. But overall definitely worth a visit!“

“It looks like the bad reviews are from those who had American-Chinese food. Try their Korean- Chinese food like jajangmyeon (black bean noodle) $13, tangsuyuk (Kor-Chi version of sweet and sour pork) $20 for small, kanpoong saewoo (chilli shrimp) $41, and etc. Unfortunately, these menus are only written in Korean and it's expensive. But if you're not on a tight budget, try them. The service is slow since the male owner is the only chef and the female owner serves the food.“

“This place was awesome . I’ve seen it but never stopped . It’s close to my house. Had the general chicken lunch plate it was a hearty meal . I had an amazing lunch with beverage and a small tip for under 15 dollars . You can tell its family ran and I love supporting my local community. Only thing i wish it was a little spicier . “Do you enjoy eating Dim Sum? Golden Joy, located in Richardson, has consistently served delicious food for several years. The service is attentive and you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The menu is mid-sized, but there are a TON of customizations you can make for every dish--well done, extra meat, spice level, added ingredients, etc--and our order was ready super quick! I ordered Szechuan shrimp and it was LOADED with shrimp! We received complementary fried wonton strips with each entrée. The gentleman at the counter also made sure we got our drinks which was very nice.

“I’m so mad at myself for all the times I drove by and never stopped in. This was some of the best wonton soup I’ve ever had. The wonton filling was delicious and very full inside. The broth was delicious. Now onto the egg roll. That was one of the best egg rolls I’ve had in many years. Tasted homemade and fresh. The lady at the counter was very nice. Food came out quick and the restaurant was very clean. I’ll definitely be back with a bigger appetite next time.“

They were out of chow mein and closing in 20 minutes….oh and they did not offer to make more. I then came to this Panda Express…the one in Fairview, near the Allen Outlet Mall. Love that dish, walk in here once a month to get my fill of minced pork & yellow peas dry noodles.

“Pretty good Sichuan restaurants in Plano. Nothing was really great or excellent, but nothing was bad either. It's a reliable place to get some spicy Sichuan food. As this is a Sichuan restaurants I would potentially caution against typical Cantonese Chinese food

I generally recommend trying String/Green Beans and Spicy Fish Fillet at Sichuan restaurants as they are staples. Here they were just fine. The Sauteed String Bean wasn't as crunchy or flavorful as it could be but it was still fine. The Fish Fillets weren't fresh fish but you typically only find fresh fish at top tier Sichuan restaurants, and it still tasted good We also had some spicy chicken that was fine.
