“Stopped by this Pei Wei as my Mom loves Chinese and she was in town. She ordered her sesame chicken, I had the coconut curry chicken and egg roll. It came out fast and hot, Mom loved her meal. I would agree her sesame chicken is a step above take out, I was impressed. The inside was clean and light, there was plenty of seating. We tried their chocolate dipped fortune cookies, they were delightful.“

Well I want to thank them because I decided to try here for the first time and it was great food was not greasy soup was great, fried rice had chunks of pork not those little grey and red pieces used other places. “Cooking is better here than most Pandas we’ve been to. It’s our 1st time here so not sure if their cooking’s consistent. But we highly enjoyed for our Sunday lunch today. Orange chicken had those crispy edges that most Pandas don’t and not overly-saucef. Beef with broccoli also wasn’t overly-sauced and had tender beef. even the steamed rice was cooked right. Tried their blac pepper steak and found it a bit too spicy for my taste but my husband enjoyed it. Nice clean & spacious interior that looks smaller from outside. Friendly & polite employees. We’ll be cominy back.“

“Food was excellent. I’ve tried Chinese in the square, by Walmart on Yellowjacket, and now here, and Van Chan’s is by far the best.

General tso’s actually has some kick to it with the red chilies, servings are generous and prices are reminiscent of the “before” times.

They don’t nickel and dime you (I received fried wantons with my soup without extra charge) and the egg rolls were delicious- classic flour based breading instead of the light, spring roll breading.

“Best Chinese restaurant! The dishes are so flavorful. I love how the chicken is so tender and they use minimal breading (such as in orange chicken). As a Muslim, it’s a good place because there are no pork dishes - which makes us feel comfortable eating at this establishment. Would highly recommend!“

“Food is nice and clean with great portions. Ate there twice in one week and going back soon. Atmosphere is laid back but pleasant. Hard to find good Chinese food in Rockwall area but highly recommend them. Can’t beat the price especially their lunch specials.“

“I have been eating here on & off since 1993. It is still as good as when we first ate here. This time we got the lunch menu shrimp fried rice, pork fried rice, and the combo lo mien to spit between two people. It was very tasty, and we got extra egg rolls, they have the best egg rolls of any Chinese food place we have ever ate. They are a lot more pricey than before, but everywhere else is to because of Biden economics. Vote Trump 2024 to get back to normal.“
