“My very first time coming here. Me nd my wife hve never been. We came Wednesday April 29,2026 at 3:30 pm. I explained to the man at the front we had never been here, he took the time nd effort to show us what's good. Gave my wife some samples of the sauce so she coukd test it.

The food ws delicious. 10/10.

But the service was even better. The employee checked on us repeatedly and made sure we liked it. He ws awesome.

“We’ve gotten live crawfish in 15 pound batches from these fine folks twice and twice good size and relatively clean. Delicious! Love this place. So much closer than Boyd’s! Please try them. Every day but Monday 11 am - 8 pm!! Nice folks, just like my home state of Louisiana! 🦞“

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

“The food is great. Seasons to perfection and spicy just way I like it. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. It reminds me of going to my favorite corner store in New Orleans for seafood. If you know, you know. The customer service is great and the prices are fair. The wait can be a bit much at times but the food is always worth the wait. So I'm not complaining just stating facts. “Today was my third attempt at hoping to give this place another chance. Just as the two prior experiences it was horrible and the the absolute worst. It started with seating and continued to go downhill from there. The poor waitress, who by the way had only been on the job a week did her very best to try and save us from this disaster, how much can she do when she was only one of three servers working. The food was subpar at best and the think that a meal with an average price point of nearly $100 we would not have been served food to be eaten on Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Three of four in our party ordered crab only to not be offered shell crackers or zippers, when we asked for some we were told they were locked in the office and the manager was in a meeting so she could not retrieve them! When we asked for the manager she offered an apology but confirmed this was the owner's policy, my guess is they must cost a million bucks to replace. The food was watery and luke-warm, the drinks had very little spirits and overall food was under seasoned. I beg you to NEVER wast your money or time on this place!“

“I’ve tried wings, fish, shrimp, and shrimp fried rice. Everything flavored well, proportioned well. Don’t care for the shrimp much, they’re large shrimp cut in half and sold as full when doing a combination plate. Only reason I don’t give 5 starts due to ordering my food and waiting on them to fix credit card machine, had to leave and get cash, and come back. Called to have food prepped since the process took 45 mins of my lunch, nothing was given for accommodations. However I do like the food and will still most likely return but with cash. Lol“

“Very good! First time trying them out on a whim. We had already dug in before I remembered to take some pics. Service was good, we did wait a while for the food but we definitely don’t mind that for good home cooled meals. My only complaint was that it was pretty hot in there, but it’s at least 95 out so sometimes there’s only so much you can do in an older building 🤷🏼‍♀️ food was fantastic! Boudin balls, burger, catfish all amazing. My husband got the baked ziti and it was great! Excited to come back and try more of their expansive menu.“
